- Usually when a band gets this hyped up to me, I expect something to mainly be shock value... But this is anything BUT shock value! Fantastic song writing and production, and I'm super glad I finally got around to listening to these guys. My introduction to Imminence was their song 'Infectious.' Highly recommend checking that one out as well. 'Temptation' is also fantastic and the first of recent singles they released for the upcoming album.
Temptation blew my mind and was my first time hearing Imminence. Ever since then I've been a big fan.

Infectious introduced me to but i would like to see erase. Love that one!
Their track “To the Light” (Japanese bonus track) gets me hook, line & sinker every time. And love “Infectious.”

I remember seeing these guys live years ago at a local show where the tickets were like 5 bucks. Even though there were maybe 50 people there, Imminence performed like they were playing in front of thousands. They gave it all they got. I became a fan of them that day. They had the skill to perform but lacked the songs. Until they released Turn the Light on. They really stepped up their game and delivered a perfect record. So glad to see them getting the attention they deserve. Few of my favorite songs are The sickness, Infectious and Turn the light on.
I'm so glad you found the time to check this band out. I already told you that Imminence is my favorite discovery of 2021 and now you can probably understand why. They are fantastic and deserve a lot more support than they have. If you are as excited to check out more of them as you say, I implore you to find the time for both "Temptation" and "Heaven in Hiding", as they are all fairly recent singles and they are also visually connected to "Ghost". The whole ‘Turn The Light On’ album doesn’t have a bad song on it. For whatever reason, the track ‘Saturated Soul’ is one I’ll repeat multiple times when I hear it.
Their album This is Goodbye is really good also. Turn the lights on is definitely better. I've listed to them for a few years. I'm just excited they're finally getting broader recognition. Eddie is right up there as one of the best vocalist, Metal or otherwise

Tank, these guys are different. They are mega talented. Imminence has basically overtaken my entire metal playlist. The vocalist is astonishing, the violin is so unique, the drummer is so precise, the guitarist and bassist are phenomenal. They are by far my fav Metalcore band right now. I strongly recommend checking out the music videos for their other tunes :

But I would also check out their album "turn the light on". There isn't a single track which did not leave me speachless.
Imminence is one of my 2021 finds and man I'm lucky to have found them. Just because their last 3 videos make a kind of a story, I would say listen/watch Temptation and then Heaven in Hiding first (in this order).
That was a first for me too and hell yes, I really like it!
I think what's stands out for me in regards to this band in the fact that there's more than one thing that I love: they're amazing at telling a story visually and sound wise, the lyrics are deep, they all actually put a lot in the band
Yes!! I was so excited to watch this! Imminence has overtaken my Playlist. Their acoustics are absolutely lovely. Their videos are always intensely cinematic. Do Temptation and Heaven in Hiding. Those are their 2 other new tracks. I also love Paralyzed and Sickness. But the last album has a series of videos that all tell 1 story so I'd do those in order for full effect. So glad you finally checked out Imminence. I was waiting for it. ❤ Keep 'em coming.
First time I heard of them was their songs, temptation and heaven in hiding. Wont lie, the violin is sooo good in their songs. Plus I never heard of them till UA-cam just recommended their 2 songs. Another band to put on my favorite list

Dude this song makes me tear up. I checked out a ton of reactions and it still gets me. Just so much raw emotion in the song and the video.
I really appreciate the fact you went back to listen to the second big scream twice. How the heck does he get that sound? I saw some folks comment that he's screaming through his violin. I don't know if this is screaming into the pick ups and the mic, or if he's screaming into the mic while playing the violin and making it scream. Either way, there are some crazy dynamics there that I have never heard anywhere else.

This is Part 3 of their recent solos: Part 1 "Temptation" and Part 2 "Heaven in Hiding." They do really seem to be telling a deep story and I'm for all of it. Each song has been different in style as well which plays to their amazing song writing. Eddie Berg is a master and I love how the breakdown really is a mix of a scream and fraying violin strings. It's so unique. Eddie recently did a feature for Breathe Atlantis on their song "Savior" and I highly recommend that as well! Great vid man, love seeing you post.

i was so sure you’ll like Imminence a lot. Have much fun on your journey through Imminence. Not one song since turn the light on which isn‘t very good. This album is a masterpiece and their new album Heaven in Hiding coming out November 26 th will be the next masterpiece for sure. The three singleoutputs from it Temptation, Heaven in Hiding and Ghost are all masterpieces so far. This new album will beat Orbit Culture’s new EP you recommended as Ep/album of the year. I've loved this genre of music for so long and this band just feel completely unique! They make you feel just everything in their songs they really are incredible song writers and immensely talented dudes. I only found them about a week ago too

I think the first song I ever heard from them was 'Paralyzed', and then I was blown away by the entire album it was on "Turn the Light On". I think that the song "The sickness" would really be a cool reaction! Great stuff as always, Tank!

My first time hearing this band as well.. Now I'm curious what other Metalcore bands Sweden has hidden away from me. Cause like you, most of my Swedish metal experience is firmly in the Melo Death scene.

I have learned a lot and it interesting just in the first few videos I have watched. I love this group as well. One of my favs was Paralyzed from their last album. keep up the awesome work. The singer’s acoustic voice is awesome as well.

Super glad you enjoyed these guys as much as you did! Their recent song Temptation is another banger in the same vein as this one, whereas there last single Heaven In Hiding is most impressive for its song structure. I definitively recommend checking both these out.
Their 2018 album cycle is what got me hooked to these guys, so as many will probably say: please do react to Paralyzed, Infectious, Saturated Soul, Lighthouse and Erase. Each of ‘em has a music video that are all part of the same story/concept with grade A+ song writing.

I recommended Imminence many times under Tank's videos just and finally here we go. Thank you for the reaction and please check out "Temptation" which to me is their best song. Other metal reactors even said it is the best song of the year. And the awesome video is connected to the one you've just watched. Other recommendations just for good new music without shock factor: Silent Planet ("Panopticon" or "Terminal") and Phinehas ("In the night"). Greetings from Poland!

I'm kinda shocked that you didn't know these guys man XD Such an amazing band (Swedish after all). Their last record is absolutely killer, doesn't have a single song that's mediocre, the whole album is a banger, so I highly recommend to pick any song of that album for future reactions, you will not be disappointed
They have a really cool live studio session with a few songs on it on Arising Empire's YT (live at studio mega). Ran into it myself just a few months ago for the first time and fell in love.

You should check out a band called Atlas. They're from Finland and still very under the radar. "Taivaanranta" is where'd I'd recommend starting.

For some reason I initially read the notification for this upload as you reacting to the _BAND_ Ghost, and the song itself was "Imminence." lol I'm absolutely happy to be wrong here. I do like this band's sound, and I can definitely hear some of the In Flames inspirations here. I'm really liking the addition of the violin; it's a great way to stand out in an already-crowded metalcore scene. I'm with you on your thoughts regarding good songwriting. I find that I'll still really enjoy a metal song even if it takes a lot of structural inspiration from other genres such as pop music. Speaking of which, I think you'd really enjoy Van Canto's recent song "Faith Focus Finish." And if you'd like a Van Canto song where there's gear in the music video aside from only drums, "Badaboom" is another fun one to check out (and the "Badaboom" music video is another good example that Germans can have a good sense of humor).
For maximum confusion, Ghost should just release a song called "Immenence"

You definitely should check out the other 2 songs they've already released from this album: Temptation and Heaven in Hiding. Each song hits us differently and i recommend you to watch in that order because this album is a history, so each song completes what we saw in the previous ones, so you're going to understand what's the point of the lyrics and the video production of each of them.

This reaction video made my day! I'm so flipping glad they are getting more notice, they need the support and Love. The skill and creativity that is put into all their songs is off the charts! Violin ALONG with singing is incredibly hard and such a unique talent! I got into Imminence about a yr ago, first song was infectious and since then my playlist is 80 percent them lol. The first time that I've heard of Imminence was listening to their songs "Alleviate" and "Chasing Shadows". I'm so close to hear christian music and searching for it. For some reason, UA-cam recommended me this songs when I was passing by hard times 3 months ago.
The only thing that helped me on the process was listening music (Imminence and Wolves At The Gate specially).

First comment on one of your videos. I'm also in Nashville, specifically Donelson. Everyone is probably going to suggest anything off Turn the Lights On or their other 2 new singles. And you should definitely listen to those as video reactions. For offline listening and just to hear more of them, I suggest their previous album This is Goodbye. It has a different sound but still really good music. If I was going to suggest one song off that album, it would be Diamonds.

Amazing Choice to react to imminence Tank, they have made so much amazing Music in the last Years. Both Beautiful and Heavy at the same Time. And even Live they are an absolute Winner. I'm so glad i could see them last Year live right before Covid took its place and i absolutely loved it, such a great Band. You definitely should check out their performance in Live in Studio Mega (you can find it on their official channel), where you can focus on instruments and hear how the vocalist manages to play violin and sing. There are three songs: Infectious, Paralyzed, Saturated Soul.

BAEST (from Denmark) is a band I think you’d enjoy a lot! their songs “Genesis” (good gear review) and “Necro Sapiens” (amazing groove) would be good first songs to check out. No shock value from this one, just classic death metal 🤘

Speaking of violins in metal, one of my absolute favorite doom bands, SubRosa, utilized 2 violinists and they did some really, really interesting things with the sound of the instrument and it's a damn shame they didn't get more well known before splitting up on an indefinite hiatus. Stylistically it's a bit different from what you've had on your channel before but I think you'd be really intrigued by their sound. They've got a music video for the song Troubled Cells and both it and the song are absolutely devastating (seriously, as many times I've heard the song I still struggle not to burst into tears listening to it). I'd be absolutely stoked if you featured them at some point.

I remember playing with Immenince when they came to the UK. We were like the 2nd band on, and from that moment I knew they would be a different kind of band. They are so good live as well as recorded, a favourite of mine for sure
