I recognize the amount of special effects work present in a film like this, really those who worked on it will have spent a lot of hours and time to do it .. But basically I don't like these films unfortunately .. When I see this kind of quantity of special effects (and then I realize it in the cinema) from that moment the film has less artistic value for me. Let's be clear, we're not talking about Avatar, that's another story, it's another movie, it's another planet intended as production. In this film instead (Robin Hood) and in any other film of the genre it seems that the producers or those who for them did not want to engage with the research or development of scenographies, locations and settings that can really be used for the film (at all to the detriment of the final yield then) .. If the producers' decision was "We save on production that there is so much digital" I feel like saying "Savings on the vision that there is so much better as a film".
CGI is used for visual effects because the quality is often higher and effects are more controllable than other more physically based processes, such as constructing miniatures for effects shots or hiring extras for crowd scenes, and because it allows the creation of images that would not be feasible using any other technology. It can also allow a single artist to produce content without the use of actors, expensive set pieces, or props. Recent accessibility of CGI software and increased computer speeds has allowed individual artists and small companies to produce professional grade films, games, and fine art from their home computers.
The mad mad mad world. Life has been destroyed by Computer. Life won't ever be the same with the same values and quality again. Computer and machine will take the humanity out of existent.
