When I really need to fussy cut I trace the outline of the whole stamp (light pencil mark) before I pick the stamp up with the MISTI, to give me a guideline. Some stamps work better than others, but it gives me a starting point. My fav is card #3.

I’m only halfway through but wanted to say thanks for the tip about the storage envelopes and the TH sets. (I’ve got a lot of TH red rubber sets and while theoretically they’re supposed to stay on the stiff plastic sheets, I’ve lost at least one stamp that went AWOL from the sheet. Hopefully I’ll find Santa and the reindeer someday.)
Perfect color on the poppy. My mom planted them years ago and the liveon. Exactly the same color as you describe. Must be the Minnesota poppy color. You really made some cool cards with this unboxing.
This video convinced me to buy this month’s kit- I passed last month. I wish Simon would do fewer flowers, but everything else in the kit is pretty cool, and your cards sealed the deal this month!
Love the die-cut cam! I just ordered a lazy Susan for my Gemini Jr so I can do the same thing. It’ll save me from having to move it every time I want to use it. Thanks for the great idea and another great video! I missed out on this kit but got a lot of great ideas. I have to try some of those Tim Holtz clear thingys. 😊
Love all these cards and I think I need this kit. Both my mom and my brother in law worked for the post office so as long as the card and envelope aren’t more than an ounce and fit inside their little measuring thing at the post office then it doesn’t require extra postage so the only one that might require extra is the shaker card because of the weight. My whole wedding invitation bundle only needed one stamp

Hahahaha....you cracked me up on this one. Of course, you always do. But the fussy cutting part had me laughing the hardest. I absolutely HATE fussy cutting. It makes me feel anxious! I'm not sure why. I know it's only paper but I really don't want to mess it up. I would rather take the time to create an svg file in order for my Cricut to cut the stamped item than fussy cut. Crazy I know. And those cards were beautiful! I love them so much. I especially love those transparent designs. I wasn't sure how those were meant to be used, but you've given me some great ideas! Thank you!! I can't wait until the next video.
@@czdesign You most certainly can. If you scan and turn it into a png you can normally clean up the background and add it to your images. Then you use the offset and it works great. Of course you can only do offset on a computer not an iPad. 😣 For me working on a computer and creating the offset of the stamp is really relaxing. At least it's not FUSSY CUTTING! LOL Yes try it on your Silhouette. I love the Silhouette software better than Cricut. I do a lot on there and then transfer it to Cricut for cutting. It's pretty simple. You're MY crafting genius so I know if I can do it, you can to! LOL Get the dust off that Silhouette!

Love seeing your imagination at work. Can you order an empty Copic marker pen? I would love that! I’m also interested in the pink tape and tape dispenser you use. Can you supply a link for those please? A tip: applying a thin bead of glue over a narrow adhesive strip is hard for me because my hands shake. So, I use a glue stick instead. It works great and allows that bit of wiggle room. I got this tip from Christine Stokes, a lovely lady in England.

Mini slim line cards don’t cost extra to mail. However a square envelope does cost more.

Another option for blending colored pencils is the Prisma Color blending pencil which is just clear wax. No fumes.

Can you do a scan, trace and cut in Cricut? I swear you can do it in Silhouette. I never think to try! My Silhouette is gathering dust somwhere!
