Lovely cards. I take calligraphy - the"swoop-de-doos" are flourishes. I love the font on those greetings...beautiful!

I love listening and watching you. I agree w/Kathy about your comment about the other side being ugly. The shades of purple embossed card was beautiful. The other embossed reminded me of a coffee shop in our town that has tin squares in the ceiling.

Hello. I've never done one of Simon's kits, but this one is really lovely. I generally like the boxed kits. These cards are both lovely and don't seem like they would be too hard to do. Those are my very favorite types. Thank you for sharing, Paula

Yeah, I NEVER did. It wasn't until the kit was released and I saw there was a die for it and I'm like… "Die? For what?" Lol! Forest for the trees, right?

Oh this is such a lovely kit! The Craft Consortium paper is dreamy. The stamp set is fabulous. Love the font. I love letting the patterned paper do all the work! Wow the color combo is gorgeous. I must get this paper and the stamp! Thank you Cathy, enjoy when you do the unboxing. The tone on tone stamping is elegant.

Hi Cathy! You are so very creative! I love these designs. I'm not sure you noticed that there is a tip and bottom to the embossing template from this kit. There is a more densly clustered flowers in the shape of a heart. Let me know when you find it!

I love your fussy cutting tip. I hated the way my cutting looked on the edges until you told us about pressing down the edges. Your cards are all so pretty.

If you stamp your image in Versamark over where you stamped it in dye ink, your embossing powder will stick!
I use a solution of Photo-Flow and water when I dry emboss. I get a deep chips impression

Love the rose gold. What if you emboss a panel, rub the embossing pad over the raised images and then use embossing powder on it. Would the heat flatten the raised sections of the card?
That's a fun idea and I don't think the heat would flatten the embossing.

Card #5 was my favorite because it made use of both sides of papers I would have had a really tough time choosing between, and used up scraps as well. Thanks for all the work you put into every video & live you do!

If I'm not mistaken, this kit does come with a heart-shaped die that works with the embossing folder.
The kit does not. The die is sold separately, OR you can buy the folder and die as a set. : )

When you took out the flower dimensional folder, I immediately saw a heart in the upper middle / third of the folder.......did you see that too?

Love Aug kit. I just received the July flamingo kit. I Feel like am behind w/ my kits arriving a month after the demos. :(
Fun to watch the opening of these kits! However, I've never understood why one would buy them...sight unseen box of mystery products! Would someone illuminate me??? LOL! I just like to pick and choose my crafting products and spend too much as it is.... I just can't imagine spending upwards of $50-60 (incl tax/shipping) for products selected by someone else... For instance, in this box, the only thing of interest to me would be the 3d folder....
I think some makers love to be surprised. That has long been my thoughts on all craft kits, whether they are scrapbooking or card making. : ) Plus, these kits? If purchased separately, would cost considerably more. :)
@@czdesign Thanks for the reply...clearly I'm not one for surprises...especially when someone else is essentially spending my $$! Obviously this works for a lot of people or the companies wouldn't be selling them....
When you sign up for the subscription you actually get to see what the kit is before the monthly invoice arrives. You have the option to skip it if you don’t like it or have similar things already. In 2 years I’ve skipped 2 kits only.

hi Cathy, do you know what the right sandwich is for the 3D embossing folder with the large/regular size Gemini? I am having trouble with this. The first time i used the bottom regular plate , the folder, and the shim that comes with the Gemini and that barely went through the machine. I was afraid it was going to break. Plus the image was really smooshed. If I do it with only the regular plate, the folder and some cardstock for shim, it won't even go through the machine. I think the machine is looking for 2 full length plates of some sort. Thank you! It's a beautiful folder and I would love to figure out how to use it.
Hey Dawn, I have not quite figured that out yet. Which is why I use my Spellbinders! I have been doing some Google searches, but still haven't figured it out!
