It really does look to run nicely. The steering looks really well tuned out of the box and the suspension seems pretty Decent. I wonder how it would do off outlandishly large jumps. Not that I would expect you to do that for me. I bet this thing slays a dirt alley! Well done Thanks for sharing
Miss my 1.0. I think that was in 03 probably? Went crazy and bought a $50 custom painted airbrush body for it, graphite chassis, aluminum a arms, and a castle kit... didn’t even test it out then sold the thing at the local hobby shop. Currently have a micro t for inside the house for my 9 yr old.
Edward Gorzek I found the ramps. They are from “ten eighty”. The version in the video isn’t sold anymore but I found them locally on Facebook marketplace. Here’s a link to the current version. Ten Eighty Launch Ramp www.amazon.com/dp/B001J4ETJE/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_-8ETEb97S1K84
My friend broke his front a-arm in 10 minutes on a flat track. They are terribly designed. I would definitely upgrade to aluminum. Other than that the 2.0 seems like a nice little truck. The mid engine really improves handling and overall performance. Losi did a good job with this.
CCxRC Next up 3.0 = 3s brushless 4wd & They should bring out a sct and buggy & so on. I don’t like the sound of an all in one esc&motor. Plus I want more channels to put in lights or whatever. I wish but I doubt they will.
9:30 I was just going to ask how the arms are holding up? Hearing people having a LOT of issues with the arms. I reviewed one in my LHS and it looks and feels great and has damping to die for, and so I was surprised when I saw people having issues with the arms breaking, it's not like it's going super fast and thus jumping super high. The arms look well designed with lots of triangulation for strength and it weighs next to nothing so what is the issue with the arms breaking? I know people will push it, but then this is a race buggy as opposed to a basher so you might expect it to be a little more fragile, but still?
Driftomaniacs I’m not sure. They do have a seam down the middle of the arm and even at the hinge pin. It’s possible. That not all get fully bonded? I’ve ordered a second set just to have a backup. Maybe they’ve gone brushless? I ordered up a 5200kv brushless hobbywing system.
Mini Nationals are coming to Enfield CT in April! I’ll be there!!!
Can’t wait til mine comes in the mail!
new to rc I bought one to run on the bmx pump track I built in my backyard, I like it a lot.

Good stuff👍🏿 I got the brushless and keep it in my car and mess with it on my lunchtime break at work..it’s been cheep fun for sure!
There’s something about the small hobby grade cars that’s just awesome 👍🏻
I agree. I'm really digging the large scale and small scale right now.
I've got my brushless 5200kv motor on order for this ;)
CCxRC nice 👍🏻
CCxRC yeah I’m in the same boat. I have a mini 8 and love how much you can do to it and it’s fast 💨 so much fun. That you can take anywhere.
Is it faster than the 14b reflex?🛣
One of my first rcs ever
Honestly a great review I'm not really a fan of table top reviews but I really like the action and commentary well done
That’s a cool little truck. Great video!

I put the Carisma V10r 5350kv sensored system and all exotek parts and I’ve hit 93.5mph
That thing is cool I got mine on preorder at the lcs
I hit a twig... hahhha love it. Great video as usual. Wish we could find theses in Canada
Little thing looks awesome!
How fast do you think you could get it to go? 😃
@@CCxRC I may pull the trigger for it, maybe we will find out!
Nice liitle beast. Thanks for the review sir.
We can’t seem to find these in Canada.
slick little buggy,,, looks pretty fast👍
Can the old mini t Bodies fit. Cause I have a lot of them
Is this thing waterproof and can it withstand grass, dirt, ice or snow?
Yes , and yes they can
Looks like a ton of fun, just like the original! Very nice video Tony! 👍🏻👍🏻
👍Looks like good little runner!!
How is yours holding up Tony? I’ve had mine for about 1.5 yrs still stock and still running with no breaks.
CCxRC did a charger come with your mini t 2.0???
I remember getting the first one about 15 years ago. Great platform, but the servo and the ESC/RX combo was a pain.
Nice driving 👍
Can you post a link to the ramps?

What do you think of the hop-up shocks ? Just looking for some inside on them before i buy them
Congratulations! Pros and cons? Durable esc and servo?
I just realized why men want to live in a culdesac!!
That backs onto a field too hehe
haha
Pretty cool truck. I'm more into the monster trucks, that are mini actually
How do you break in the motor? I’m new too rc and I wanna buy this losi
Nice slick little cart :) Will be bad a$$ with a BLDC in it :D
Are these things in stock anywhere?
This platform kicks the ass of any of those wltoycar things. K.
Looks like tons of fun and that's all that matters 👍👍
What is the best mini rc car

What is the average running time on stock battery? Thanks!
It would be a sick lil car if had like a lil .12 nitro option but looks a bit of fun anyway
I ordered one of these it that color but I might race it against my latrax rally I just goat a couple of days ago
I WANT ONEEEE!!!!!
How much faster do you think it'll go on a brushless?
Brushless claims 27+mph
✌🏻😎🏴Thanks dude.
You are welcome!

I broke the arm on mine in the first run. It looks like it splits on the seam. If it broke that fast then I feel like it's a bad batch.
I just wanna go fast. Why nothing stays stock
Yep. Me too. I want to try the Dynamite brushless system though. Seems interesting
CCxRC I’m sure a upgrade motor gonna have that thing flying. Can’t wait to see what you do with it. I may have to get myself one.
Be careful running around that open storm drain 😕
I did worry about that a little bit :)
Haha first thing I noticed when I started watching this.
45 degrees Fahrenheit is warm for me mate.
That would be good with a mini vilenion system in it.
does this take any faster brushed motors like say a graupner speed 300 6v or similar ?
What’s the best servo to upgrade to from the junk sx107 Servo that it comes with?
Reefs 99micro
Curious, is your slipper clutch "clicky"? Mine makes a clicking sound when running. Tightening the slipper seemed to reduce it.
CL-Audio no. I didn’t notice it. But my Losi Mini 8ight did
@@CCxRC Thanks. Noises like that make me feel like I'm running a cheap product. Just annoying is all. I like my RC's running smooth.
I've had the first version for 30 years but the steering servo broke a long time ago and there is no replacement. Going to get this one!
Yup it happened on the one in my video a arm broke
Can anyone tell me an estimated battery run time?
I've just bought one for our small indoor carpet track. I'm going for its 1st run tonight.
I use a lipo alarm and mine goes for 20 mins before buzzer goes off
I agree with Wayne , around 20 minutes
10 mins now, gone brushless 😂😂
So, put a 4000+kv motor in it on 3s and...
5:33😳
I’m sorry the Carisma V70 Type R system. Don’t get the dynamite system they over heat within 2 minutes.
Have you tried the new Losi Mini-B yet?
No. I tried to buy one today, but my local shop had already sold them all
@@CCxRC Please put a video up when you drive it for a bit. I have one coming in the mail. Looks like a sweet little car.
Anyone have a recommendation for a reciever if i get the brushless motor/esc upgrade?
The dynamite motor esc combo that goes in the anniversary edition
These things got old the first time round when companies started to release 4wd 1/18’s.
4wd passes way less challenge driving. I like the mid motor 2wd better. Less problems.
