I love shawl sweaters and this is on my grail list. I’m looking at the black one with the brown buttons but I’m confused on sizing. I passed up on the Black Friday sales because of this. I’m 5’7 weigh 154 with a 41’ chest. I wear large in Iron Heart shirts for reference. I’m thinking of going with the large.
Love it! I do agree with others here that the Large would fit you a lot better but that's preference i guess. I got this one in black with the brown buttons and it's amazing!
The oversized fit of course gives you more room to breathe (a bit cooler) and plenty of room to layer even warmer. Good call for one piece on a trip you describe. I prefer to wear mine schoolboy tight. If you look for another piece have a gaze at the Full Throttle hoodie, which is fully lined and you'll not want to size down (fits smaller than the cardigans). Hope the trip was fun too.
Great video. Funny thing is, I was checking out this exact cardigan last night. I passed on it because it's worsted wool and I'm guessing that it's scratchy. I'd rather have superfine merino wool. Also, I love shawl collars but when it comes to shawl collar sweaters I prefer ribbed wool, cotton, or cashmere. I ended up passing on it but I do really like it. I'd rather save my money and get the Dehen 1920 N1 Deck Jacket in Black/Kodiak mouton lining. I covet.
Yeah buddy I’m an old timer been interested in this stuff for a long time… Too long but you made the right call… You wanna wear this as a jacket so you can layer underneath you could throw a sweatshirt on underneath or a nice turtle neck or a heavy flannel and you got room to breathe and move. Absolutely you made the right call….! As a matter fact, I just bought one today and I think I’m around your size I’m a 44 chest 190lbs and 5’8…. I purchased an XL in Navy… Good video buddy…. Greg
Looks great, but I thibk you should get a size smaller, it will be more flattering and still let you layer, without the tight look that seems pretty fashinalble these days, unfortunately. It looks big on the shoulders and sleeves, and possibly the length as well.
@@MasterOfFits It's all very personal, of course, but sometimes it's hard to really see how stuff looks on ourselves, didn't mean to be too presumptuous.
I passed up a Dehen Varsity style cardigan from a local thrift last spring because it had a school logo on it. I regretted that dumb decision. Of course, it was gone when i went back.

Pockets are way better. Not even close to the standard cardigan form Dehen.
