Birkenstock is moving most of their Production away from Germany and to Asia. Also massive, unjustified, price increase since they belong to LVMH. Just another overpriced fashion brand at this point.

i got myself the bf 109 jacket. I really love it, but i always think the cut is kinda special. It’s quiet boxy, also cause of the tough leather of cause. I wish Leo Kohler would bring their manufacturing back to Germany and improve/expand the range of the moleskin line. Such a great cloth, I think it could elevate many different types of clothing styles.
@kevinstarlike Hi Kevin! I'm 179cm / 5'11" and weigh around 70kg / 154lbs. I mostly wear a size S or 36 (IT46) but sometimes a 38 if I want a little more room. The BF-109 fits pretty snug, so their size small fits me like a barracuta 36, or a Schott S. I hope that helps!

@panganaranga They bought a lot of horsehide in south america and produce some Jackets there, yes. But they make them in germany too. Always in small quantities. It's definitely no shinki horsehide tho.
7:19 no, you don't. Don't fkn shorten the sleeves. This isn't 2014 anymore with the all-skinny/slim fit era. Stop buying shit that's tight on the body. Oversized is literally better. Why would you shorten the sleeves when it's short enough? You want your forearms to stick 10cm out of your sleeve when you grab something? NO, you don't.
The sleeves fall like on an overcoat. I just want it too fall like it should. I guess you couldn't see that because of the angle. I'm 100% with you fit wise.
I'd skip the Indiana Jones Jacket. I bought one and it looked terrible on me. Those movies must CGI the coat to look good on Harrison Ford. For the rest of us, get an A2 Flight Jacket from one of the good reproduction companies, ie LostWorldsInc, Eastman, Buzz Rickson's (You'll have to order a larger size than you would think as the jackets don't have a shoulder gusset.)
It's not CGI but some simple practical effects. It was held together on the inside so that it wouldt flop around in front of the camera. In the later James Bond movies Daniel Craig wore two sizes up in action sequences and his regular size in close up "hero shots". But yeah, I will most likely go for an Aero Highwayman, just because I don't want to look like I'm cosplaying 😂
