Client Security Fund Helps Man Recoup Lost Funds due to Attorney Misconduct - State Bar Stories

Bruce Gold found himself in what he surmised was a very winnable lawsuit regarding unreported property damage to a condo he purchased, then his attorney stopped returning his phone calls, and Bruce contacted the State Bar.
The Client Security Fund is entirely funded by attorneys and offers up as much as $100,000 per victim to reimburse clients who have lost money or property due to theft or dishonest conduct by a California lawyer.
