Thanks for watching, let me know in the comments what you think and also what else you would like to see me do on my MK5 Golf R32 Turbo or indeed any other projects i could bring to the channel
Just noticed your O2 sensors are in the wrong spot. They will cook there at 800-850 degrees C. They should be about 500mm from the cylinder head. Include the header, and downpipe in that length measurement. Great video though. Its the little details you captured that matter with this sort of thing.
Thats how my tuner wanted them and thats how they build their customers cars to have. Also, all the new manifolds coming out of HPA and BST have the O2 sensors in the manifold too. There are also plenty of OE cars that run the O2 sensor in the manifold. It really isnt an issue, ive done 7k miles in this now and no issues with the o2 being where they are.
What did you achieve with that? 400bhp isn’t slow by any means just less that I wanted. But don’t worry I’ll be getting closer to the 500bhp real soon. So stay tuned.
@@OctaneFever 560bhp fully built, sure its fast however knowing what they are capable of 400 just don’t quite tickle me, however I’m a vr6 lover had all variations till kids arrived know have a tfsi b7 avant
Checkout my first video in the build series. There is a parts video and in the description is a spreadsheet of every part needed and links of where to buy.
Maybe. I think I’d have to change the rad support as well but also the one I’ve put on there wasn’t too much work and can handle all the power I’d need.
Which turbo is this? Also can you go more into detail about where sourced the parts for this build and what they are exactly as far as brand goese? It eould be greatly apreciated: )
Hey. I would recommend watching my other videos. I go into detail on the items and in the first video of the series there is a spreadsheet in the description of every part and links where to get them.
@Octane Fever do you know what the drank is good for? I've heard about pumping up the pressure to help the clamping force but I haven't heard of aftermarket parts. Do people build our trannys?

“Great video, that’s exactly what I was planning to do on my R32.”
“Do you happen to have a list of the parts you used?”
Huge effort. Pays off!
May the Boost be with you!
Haha cheers
Trust me really wonderful build detailed and straight forward
This is a very complex task even for the pros. Good work 👏 👍
Cheers bro. Means a lot.

Glad you found the problem without taking the head off.
Amazing video! Best one I've ever seen!
Glad you liked it!
Job well done. I wish i had the skills and courage to do this. I salute you sir keep up the quality videos and work!!!!!!!
Thanks bro. Comments like this spur me on.
Watched it from start to finish - quality vid 🚗 amazing car you’ve got there
Cheers bro. If you need more details checkout the specific vids that cover that area. It’s all been documented.
Nice job 👍👍
From France
Looks good man!
brilliant effort, just watched full video... im a newbie technician, man id love to achieve this on my own 32 👌
It was always a dream of mine. Took me about 10 years to be in the position to afford to do it. But I had the chance and don’t regret it one bit.
this ise some aftermarket intake manifold fot vr6?
hey bro did you use oem headbolts when you put the spacer plate?
Nice build, did a mk3 vr6 few years back, however I’d be disappointed with 400 bhp from it

Hello mate, do you have a listing for some of the parts are used i.e. injectors and inlet manifold where you got them from
Yeah checkout my first build video. In the description there is a link to a spreadsheet with links and parts.
How much would it cost to turbo a r32 at all like doesnt have to be top tier power but
Hi mate brilliant video! Can't seen to find what turbo your using or head spacer kit? Any chance of this information many thanks Dan

Very nice vid 👍🏾 did you have any problems with the DSG gear box?
Yeah the clutch packs didn’t hold enough power that’s about it. Checkout my build series for really in detail stuff
@@OctaneFever I was gonna turbo mine but changed my mind because I have the Audi b8 a4 building & my sc e36
Intercooler S3 is not plug and play to the r32 front ?

I am a bit confused did you not have to put a longer timing chain?
No I used the oe chains. Check out episode 4 for more details.
WHERE CAN I BUY THE SUPERCHARGERD KIT?
I don’t think you can anymore. There might be some second hand kits around.
Can you please tell me what is the length of the engine ?
Sorry I don’t know the length. Are you sure you want the length of the engine?
@@OctaneFever yea, interesting for future swap :)
What would you say the whole journey cost you?
Really looking good🎉😊
Good question. To get where I was in this video it was around £4.5k. But since then I’ve had to spend a fair chunk more so I’m probably £7k in it atm.
Where’s your location? I’m in
Miami Florida
Im in the UK bro
did he call the manifold a "inlet manifold"?😭
What’s the point?
🥰🥰💙💙💙💙💙🔥💪🏻💪🏻😎👌🏻
Great taste in cars, terrible taste in music
How have you managed to do that without forged rods etc
Because the standard ones are strong enough...
As he said above. The standard rods can take much more too. 600bhp pretty easy.
