I find it hilarious that out of Animated, RID2015, and Rescue Bots, all got their first entries into Legacy through the police bot of the show. Prowl, Strongarm, and Chase.
Story Time: I got Prowl in the mail, only to find that my copy had two right feet, which meant that I couldn’t transform his left leg to become the front of the motorcycle due to the identical right foot having two tabs on both sides. So, I ended up buying a new copy of Prowl on the same day I bought Crashbar. Both of them are amazing!!!
This looks more like animated than whatever bee is That's like they stapled his head to a completely different body, this is at least reminiscent of what prowl looked like

FINALLY. Someone who mostly shares my viewpoint on Prowl. I personally like the original design to a certain extent, but this figure just blends both the show and the generic Generations design together SO well. I've seen so many people say that it doesn't feel like Prowl at all. Like...what? Literally all of the Prime figures they've done doesn't feel like the character except for maybe Skyquake and Dreadwing. AND the United Prime and Bee looks like they're leaning MORE into that design while keeping the Generations look, so I don't know what they're talking about.
You see, I would agree that Prowl doesn’t feel like himself, but also that the prime figures don’t feel like themselves, with the exception of skyquake (who only feels like themself because they barely appear in prime. They certainly do not invoke the character of their old toy though). Bulkhead is an interesting example, as his figure is a very unique shape that fits him, but besides that the crossover figures have felt like generic designs which the prime or animated details have been added on top of, and bulkhead feels like it only works by chance (it’s also a better movie hound than a bulkhead) This is how you can get arcee, who has many of her prime details intact, without feeling like her prime counterpart at all. Again, skyquake (and in this case dreadwing) seem to be an exception to this, as their altmode is clearly meant for them, and couldn’t have started some other way and just given prime detailing (though their mold is also presumably intended for up to 2 other figures, which the alt modes won’t fit)
Because this isn’t Animated Prowl, this is G1 Prowl if he was a bike instead. And no one said that any of the Prime characters felt like themselves other than Skyquake, Bulkhead is a good toy but he’s NOT Prime Bulkhead and same goes with Arcee. And this could potentially be seen as disrespectful to Derrick J Wyatt but I think I read somewhere that he was still alive when this thing was being designed conceptualized but I could be wrong.
My favorite way to mount Crasshbar's pipes is plugged into his back so they extend forward under his arms as some kind of mounted gun or flamethrower arrangement, just to go with his gigantic, over the top, G2 multi-guns. As the smallest of the Junkion molds so far having him be the firepower addict tickles my sense of the absurd.
@@PerspectiveEnd You plug them into the back ports using the pegs that face the same way as the straight end of the pipes, with those ends going under his arms along the side of the body to face forward.
-Animated Universe Prowl looks cool for a G1ified design. But wish he can hold both shurikens. And yeah, didn't see his mold as a possible reuse as Armada Sideways till you pointed that out. Hope it happens. -Crashbar looks cool as a Junkion dirt motorbike. I've been enjoying these new Junkions in Legacy Evolution.
I love both bike bots. Both I put in a motorcycle photo on my social media spots. As for Antagony, she is based on the Botcon exclusive character, which was a black ant Inferno redeco. The Scavenger head looks better on her overall.
Yeah they're both better than I anticipated, and I wasn't even expecting bad things from them. I do know the back story on antagony, I was just trying to use an example of what Hasbro is willing to do, but it was a bad one. Far better would have been to bring up legacy Knockout.
based on one of my previous comments, crashbar is what i mean when there should be a faux micro masterpiece when based on a figure's circumstances physically cant be a micro masterpiece
I absolutely adore Crashbar. He’s already a solid figure but what made me buy two copies of him are the mufflers and “guns”; they’re some of the best parts for Junkion builds in my opinion.
Oh heres a tip for transforming Prowl, you kinda have to slide it in from below where it actually goes, it helps alot and prevents the paint from scratching. And you can remember which side the feet belong to by looking at the one that has the stand, its always the one that goes in the back. Plus pushing the front wheel as far up as possible improves the stand's ability to keep him up, even more so if you steer the wheel to aid it. Hope this helps👍
Yeah, that does help, though I think mine actually got scratched from it comming out, cause it's harder to control it that way. Though I do want people to see the worst case Scenario, so I'm glad I did it this way in the video. Thank you though.

1:58 The main reason I love Animated is because it is very nostalgic to me I grew up on cartoons and movies from 2000s and despite watching Animated last year for the first time and it just tickled me in my nostalgia part of my brain. I love it, it still isn’t my favorite Transformers show(cause Transformers Prime and Cyberverse Season 2-4 exists) but it just holds me in a very personal spot in my heart
To me, the best Prowl is the one you can recreate his pose in the Animated intro with. Legacy Prowl can do that if you cheat a bit, so he got lucky on that front. XD I got him for the simple fact that he looked amazing and was the first Animated toy in like 15 years and there was NO way I was passing him up. Nearly freaked out when I finally saw him on store shelves.
I only realize now that I accidentally made him do the pose in the video. I wasn't really trying to do that. And yes it is quite good with better posing than the old figure.
The main thing with the Antagony is that the head's just used as a bonus reference for Inferno if you have one. And making an Armada Sideways from Prowl would be dope and yeah, I'm betting on it too.
I get that Hasbro has stopped sucking at making motorcycles, but we’re getting one every wave now. Also I don’t care about the Prowl-tool, I really really want an Armada sideways since he’s my second favourite bot in the show!
Crashbar's right leg (the one that makes the seat) is slightly longer than the left leg. Its just enough to make putting him into really good poses literally impossible, since this is also the leg with the nonexistant ankle tilt.
@@PerspectiveEnd its def not the peg, the leg goes all the way in, and even when I swap the legs this issue is still apparent. The seat leg is literally like 1-3 millimeters longer than the fuel tank leg. I believe its a mix of the shin being longer and the foot being taller, since the hinge for the ankle tilt isnt nearly as offset, but is still at visibly different heights. I definently think it would be cool to see more asymmetrical transformers, but I still very much prefer to have the legs be the same length.
I've noticed Crashbar's legs do seem to be slightly different lengths, too. Not all that noticible, visually, but just enough to cause problems getting him to stand in a neutral/ upright pose, without adjusting a leg to compensate. It's most noticible, if you try aligning the wheels on the legs & getting the legs to sit as symmetrical as possible (ie. similar shin gap/ angle & knee positioning). It's very slight, but does seem to be in the design.

This is perfect timing I just looked to see if you reviewed prowl yesterday Also when I went to do the hall of fame poll I realized prowl was the only legacy evo figure I bought (excluding breakdown but he doesn’t count) so animated really does have my money
@@lowriderking68 If i ever get a good setup where I can display him out of the way of being knocked over I definitely will cause I agree he looks better that way, but at the moment I am worried about them either getting knocked over by my cats or by my own clumsy self and disappearing into the void cause I've had that happen with other stuff
From what you presented, those are quite good figures. I prefer Crashbar a bit more, but Prowl is doing nice as well (well, mostly, we still have the problem of clunky transformation). And as for the question of the video... As far as legacy line is concerned, if you could pick a character to get an new figure, who would you pick and why?
I like Crashbar more my self too. Probably Evergreen Barricade. Design is super cool, and the character deserves to have a Good Toy, that washes away his movie only identity.
All we need now is trash master who I still think will get a repaint and re-tool into salvage from rescue bots speaking of which question of the comments who’s your favorite character from the rescue bots series, new or old i’m a personal fan of high tide not only I have fan of aquatic alt modes you gotta love the mega bot form and him being an old sea captain
I've had Prowl for a while and he's been such a joy to pose around. It definitely feels like the bot mode was prioritized more though. Crashbar's a REALLY solid junkion, and I might prefer him over Axelgrease and Scraphook.
Prowl is actually really cool, and so is crashbar, but I feel crashbar looks cooler in my opinion I don’t know if I will be picking up prowl, and I may get crashbar. But who knows

Have them both, love them both. I wish Prowl had a slit in his 5 milimeter peg hands so he could hold both types at the same time, like a particular paper cut I got once.
Imo Crashbar is my favourite Legacy figure so far and I'm super glad I have one Ngl it's a shame they got replaced by rocks which don't look as good not are as customisable and interchangeable as the Junkions, like Crashbar on his own can get into three robot mode configurations, and still weaponises pretty well
I can't call it my favorite legacy figure, but I do really enjoy it. I personally think the Rocklords look super sick. It would have been cool to get even more Junkions, just 3 base Molds is a Little weak, but I think I would have been fully satisfied at just 5.
These two are pretty aswom imo, I’m happy to fill in the animated prowl hole in my collection with the Legacy prowl. And also it was my birthday yesterday and i want to tell you this story. I went out with my family to a restraint and just enjoyed my time with them and celebrated my birthday with them. I didn’t expect my mum and dad to buy anything since they already bought me some figures already couple months ago btu when we went home both of them came into my room with the nemesis and man I was so happy. The figures is the best titian I have and is one of my favourite figures this year but I have a problem with the tabs on the top sail or wing not staying in but overall a near flawless figure.
I finally got an 86 slag,it was a PAIN to get,only snarl left,i also lucked out so hard and got a near perfect sludge no bad qc at all,im so happy whit the 86 dinos. I got in to collecting and those dinos where my firts objective. Also i want to thank u again for the legacy inferno reccomendation,I LOVE HIM SO MUCH❤❤
I went back and forth about that prowl and just got one of the originals off ebay... Of course I never hated the animated aesthetic like you... But that toy is awesome!
You're supposed to put Prowl's shurikens on opposite wheels in alt mode, according to a very careful magnified look at the instructions, which stops them from opening when the wheels are rolled forward.
Hasbro needs to hurry up and announce that Sideways repaint/retool of Animated Prowl already. He was one of my favorite toys from Armada, loved that headmaster gimmick.
In the Bronx I saw 4 animated Prowl, 2 WFC megatron, 6Nemesis Leo, and 8 Ironhide and G1 prowl death figures at my local target last week but I wanted to see what else they had so i waited for a couple of days i went back on tuesday and they ony had Trashmaster, FOC Cliffjumper and the G1 prowl and Ironhide i was so pissed at myself because I wanted WFC megatron and Animated prowl but i fumbled so hard now i have to go to Manhattan and hopefully animated prowl or WFC megatron are there. And maybe it's just me but i'm not into Junkion characters who aren't in the series (film/cartoon) or minor characters like skids.
i own prowl and i love it i didn't get Crashbar Because i was focused on Skyquake at the time and getting one now is like getting a movie Skylynx thats accurate HASBRO NEXT FILM GIVE US SKYLYNX AND MAKE HIM A BRAZIL CARGO PLANE IT WOULD BE SOO COOL AND MAKE THE FILM ABOUT HIM HE NEEDS ROTB LEVELS OF ATTENTION IN MOVIES
I got Prowl back in September but unfortunately I broke his door wings. Tried to use super glue and now I can’t transform it into a bike anymore. It’s still a great figure and I’d love to get the original (and a second copy of prowl in the future)

Interesting theory on Repainting Animated Prowl in to Armada Sideways. Most people having been saying how well he work for the Laser Cycle Decepticon Road Pig.
Prowl is entirely the wrong kind of motorcycle to be Road Pig, and the only part of him that's even close to the right shape is the abdomen. I mean, you could do it with an extensive retool, but why when Crashbar is right there with the three-lamps chest and all, not needing anything but a head swap and repaint to look reasonably close. That being Hasbro's favorite kind of mold reuse, I think it;s a solid bet for Road Pig, especially with there not having been a second Crashbar mold release despite needing two for the officially-unofficial Junkasaurus. I like the version I came up with that only uses one better, but 5-member teams are traditional for TF combiners so I can see where they're coming from.
I’ve had Prowl for a good while and I really like him. I originally got him only for potential fan projects but none of those have come to pass yet but it’s still nice having a Prowl at all because this is my first Prowl. Though it makes it a pain when I want to decide which versions of what characters appear in whatever because I can’t have ROTB Arcee and Prowl in the same thing because you’ll start questioning why Arcee’s smaller. That rant aside, if you grew up watching more of Derrick J Wyatt’s stuff stuff you’d probably be fine with the Animated aesthetic. Since I did I have no problem with Animated’s look and I disagree with you saying that it was something that needed to be fixed and more of something you wanted done differently as disrespectful to Mr Wyatt as it might be that they take his unique designs and make them generic G1 looking bots. It might not be disrespectful but this thing did definitely come out at a very awkward time in all honesty. And the OG Animated Prowl toy was able to do the bike right because being so skinny he could fit in more places than the Legacy one can. There’s less mass so it’s easier to hide

yes, but before his photo was relevealed quiet a few people, including you thought it would be a scourge retool because of how similar his design was. Then we found out he was a blurr retool. All I'm saying is its not impossible for this scenario to happen again.
I think the Prowl could have looked a bit more dynamic and cartoony, but I agree that Crashbar is absolutely awesome. Also, the Generations Selects Inferno repaint is Antagony, a BotCon character, not Scavenger.
Mr. Pend, gen selects Antagony was not designed to be scavenger. Mark had to include an alt head, and did it as a neat call back. It’s not trying to be scavenger, because that’s not the main head. It’s color matched to inferno anyways. But yeah the bikes are great. Evo Shrapnel and universe hound double review? Also I’ll eat my shoe if prowl is armada sideways. He doesn’t share ideas with sideways on purpose, it’s by accident. They’re not going to suddenly make one of these armada guys look incredibly inaccurate, when the rest have been spot on.
Idk how I feel about these new Animated figures. The originals aren’t super outdated or anything, and they’re basically perfect looking. These new ones are cool as their own thing, but them coming out so soon after Derrick J Wyatt passed just feels a little weird to me.
So honestly I really don’t have that much to say about crashbar and animated prowl, but what I can really say is that these are probably the best characters that turn into bikes, if there was one character that I had to choose that’s my favorite, it would be prowl in robot mode, I just think prowl looks cooler and I like this design of prowl, crashbars robot mode is good, not my favorite, but is really good, but the bike mode for prowl is kinda mixed, on one hand it’s pretty decent, but it has some problems, the transformation is pretty hard and confusing at time and I just feel like it needed to do better, but crashbars transformation is pretty good and I do like his bike mode more than prowls, so overall I really do like these guys and are considered to be the best bikeformers of all time.
So my only major gripe with prowl is how they handled the weapons. Him not beikg able to reliably hold both shuriken bothers me way mare than it probably should amd tbh I'd rather he only be able to hold his weapons because giving him a gun feels really out of character and he can't hold most of the swords i have because the bottom of the 5mm ports is blocked by forearm sculpting.
I get why they went that way with one hand being 5MM and not, but I also feel like they could have made both 5MM and then given him a set of accessories that let him hold the Shuriken properly.
I was gonna wait for a sale on Prowl But now with the existence of the other Animated Lads(who i am excited as hell for) i intend to bite the bullet on him when i either order the United Animated bois in December for my Birthday/New Years or buy them in January when they become “officially out”
Prowls is one of my favorite figures of the year. Crash bar is good but God I wish Uber duck was still good so I can make him sound like Joe Swanson for family Guy, he would be perfect with that voice

At first i didn't like the junkions (other than animated reckgar) but the 86 reckgar looked great so i got him, then scraphook came out and had a dope alt mode, so now I have him. But me like garbage truck so I had to get trashmaster. Then I saw this video and realized I might as well complete the set and now I have crashbar. Now im obsessed with these guys and want more. Also i think slammer would look great with them.
Hasbro needs to make more animated x chug figures, animated megatron would be crazy and I hope they make a animated wasp figure out of the bumblebee, idk why but I’ve wanted a figure of him ever since I watched the show
Somewhere someone should write a fanfic about Animated Prowl being actually Prowl Jr, the disappointing ninja son of the classic G1 Prowl... or even better, IDW Prowl. Wreckers version. And somehow, Crashbar would fit perfectly as a side criminal that turns into a friend after being arrested. Sounds better and better the more I think about it... Anyway, I have both of them, and they are fantastic. (Junkasaurus roars in the distance)
While we have gotten a lot of motorcycle characters these 2 are definitely fun to handle besides transformation one is a pain and the other atleast on mine falls apart. Crashbar is a favourite it’s nice all round besides the block guns maybe slimed out to be more of a shotgun looking thing could’ve worked a bit better
Legacy Silverbolt leaked. I'm unsure about the robot head for now but otherwise he looks great. I think the beast mode is an improvement over the show model as well. They also revealed MP Rhinox. I can't wait to see how this one's screwed up.
They can use Legacy Prowl as a base for Armada Sideways, BUT THEY BETTER NOT JUST SLAP A NEW HEAD ON HIM AND CALL IT A DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sideways is my favorite character so I hope he gets the love that Megatron and Prime did.

Bro sees Prowl as a Sideways pretool? I’ve seen him that way sience Day 1! Hint: fold the handle bars forwards to make Sideway’s weird ears. Hopefully they give him the Desepticon head instead of the base head that only appeared for a few seconds total in stock footage.

If Prowl is a pre-tool for Legacy Armada Sideways then I might skip Prowl and just wait for Sideways. The original Sideways was a childhood toy of mine alongside the Deluxe Class Optimus Prime. Sadly Sideways is no longer with me, but I hope Legacy does him some justice. Hell if they need to use the deluxe figure, give him some more tooling and mark him as a voyager box set with his Two minicons just so he can do the insignia change with the heads.

omg I found Crashbar's handlebars the other day. I got onto Hasbro for not including them lol. Now I have to do a short correcting this mistake. I just found crashbars shurikin thing aswell. UA-cam isn't doing the best job of telling me when your videos happen so even though I'm subscribed I miss most of them, and when I do see them they are typically just at really bad times, so I go "I'll watch that later" at which point youtube just doesn't remind me about it. I absolutely adore Crashbar. He’s already a solid figure but what made me buy two copies of him are the mufflers and “guns”; they’re some of the best parts for Junkion builds in my opinion.

I have both and I have enjoyed them.
I still don't know why they messed up Prowl's transformation when it's pretty much a copy of the original.
Oh heres a tip for transforming Prowl, you kinda have to slide it in from below where it actually goes, it helps alot and prevents the paint from scratching. And you can remember which side the feet belong to by looking at the one that has the stand, its always the one that goes in the back. Plus pushing the front wheel as far up as possible improves the stand's ability to keep him up, even more so if you steer the wheel to aid it. Hope this helps👍
Yeah, that does help, though I think mine actually got scratched from it comming out, cause it's harder to control it that way.

I grew up on cartoons and movies from 2000s and despite watching Animated last year for the first time and it just tickled me in my nostalgia part of my brain. I love it, it still isn’t my favorite Transformers show(cause Transformers Prime and Cyberverse Season 2-4 exists) but it just holds me in a very personal spot in my heart
To me, the best Prowl is the one you can recreate his pose in the Animated intro with.
Legacy Prowl can do that if you cheat a bit, so he got lucky on that front. XD
I got him for the simple fact that he looked amazing and was the first Animated toy in like 15 years and there was NO way I was passing him up. Nearly freaked out when I finally saw him on store shelves.
I only realize now that I accidentally made him do the pose in the video. I wasn't really trying to do that.
And yes it is quite good with better posing than the old figure.
Prowl was finally given his jet pack from the show, love how they integrated them as vents for the motorcycle. This is a great update on the original
The main thing with the Antagony is that the head's just used as a bonus reference for Inferno if you have one.
And making an Armada Sideways from Prowl would be dope and yeah, I'm betting on it too.
I get that Hasbro has stopped sucking at making motorcycles, but we’re getting one every wave now. Also I don’t care about the Prowl-tool, I really really want an Armada sideways since he’s my second favourite bot in the show!

Tip for the articulation on Prowl, if you untab the back panels and chest and hinge them up, you can fake a deeper ab crunch
Crashbar's right leg (the one that makes the seat) is slightly longer than the left leg. Its just enough to make putting him into really good poses literally impossible, since this is also the leg with the nonexistant ankle tilt.
I don't notice that with mine. Is it perhaps the connection peg in yours being over long? Maybe you could trim that.
@@PerspectiveEnd its def not the peg, the leg goes all the way in, and even when I swap the legs this issue is still apparent. The seat leg is literally like 1-3 millimeters longer than the fuel tank leg. I believe its a mix of the shin being longer and the foot being taller, since the hinge for the ankle tilt isnt nearly as offset, but is still at visibly different heights. I definently think it would be cool to see more asymmetrical transformers, but I still very much prefer to have the legs be the same length.
I've noticed Crashbar's legs do seem to be slightly different lengths, too. Not all that noticible, visually, but just enough to cause problems getting him to stand in a neutral/ upright pose, without adjusting a leg to compensate. It's most noticible, if you try aligning the wheels on the legs & getting the legs to sit as symmetrical as possible (ie. similar shin gap/ angle & knee positioning). It's very slight, but does seem to be in the design.

I prefer Crashbar a bit more, but Prowl is doing nice as well (well, mostly, we still have the problem of clunky transformation).

I couldn’t care less about the legacy Junkions. I even passed up Roadpig when I found him at my local Walmart

I've had Prowl for a while and he's been such a joy to pose around. It definitely feels like the bot mode was prioritized more though.
Crashbar's a REALLY solid junkion, and I might prefer him over Axelgrease and Scraphook.

Ngl it's a shame they got replaced by rocks which don't look as good not are as customisable and interchangeable as the Junkions, like Crashbar on his own can get into three robot mode configurations, and still weaponises pretty well

I personally think the Rocklords look super sick. It would have been cool to get even more Junkions, just 3 base Molds is a Little weak, but I think I would have been fully satisfied at just 5.

Legacy prowl. And also it was my birthday yesterday and i want to tell you this story. I went out with my family to a restraint and just enjoyed my time with them and celebrated my birthday with them. I didn’t expect my mum and dad to buy anything since they already bought me some figures already couple months ago btu when we went home both of them came into my room with the nemesis and man I was so happy. The figures is the best titian I have and is one of my favourite figures this year but I have a problem with the tabs on the top sail or wing not staying in but overall a near flawless figure.
I finally got an 86 slag,it was a PAIN to get,only snarl left,i also lucked out so hard and got a near perfect sludge no bad qc at all,im so happy whit the 86 dinos.
I got in to collecting and those dinos where my firts objective.
Also i want to thank u again for the legacy inferno reccomendation,I LOVE HIM SO MUCH❤❤
I went back and forth about that prowl and just got one of the originals off ebay... Of course I never hated the animated aesthetic like you... But that toy is awesome!
You're supposed to put Prowl's shurikens on opposite wheels in alt mode, according to a very careful magnified look at the instructions, which stops them from opening when the wheels are rolled forward.
Sideways is an underrated character in the armada show and he would be a welcome edition to my collection even though I own no armada figures
Hasbro needs to hurry up and announce that Sideways repaint/retool of Animated Prowl already. He was one of my favorite toys from Armada, loved that headmaster gimmick.
In the Bronx I saw 4 animated Prowl, 2 WFC megatron, 6Nemesis Leo, and 8 Ironhide and G1 prowl death figures at my local target last week but I wanted to see what else they had so i waited for a couple of days i went back on tuesday and they ony had Trashmaster, FOC Cliffjumper and the G1 prowl and Ironhide i was so pissed at myself because I wanted WFC megatron and Animated prowl but i fumbled so hard now i have to go to Manhattan and hopefully animated prowl or WFC megatron are there.
And maybe it's just me but i'm not into Junkion characters who aren't in the series (film/cartoon) or minor characters like skids.
I mean at least Trashmaster seems like he might be cool. But Ouch, that does suck.

I got Prowl back in September but unfortunately I broke his door wings. Tried to use super glue and now I can’t transform it into a bike anymore. It’s still a great figure and I’d love to get the original (and a second copy of prowl in the future)

Interesting theory on Repainting Animated Prowl in to Armada Sideways. Most people having been saying how well he work for the Laser Cycle Decepticon Road Pig.
Prowl is entirely the wrong kind of motorcycle to be Road Pig, and the only part of him that's even close to the right shape is the abdomen. I mean, you could do it with an extensive retool, but why when Crashbar is right there with the three-lamps chest and all, not needing anything but a head swap and repaint to look reasonably close. That being Hasbro's favorite kind of mold reuse, I think it;s a solid bet for Road Pig, especially with there not having been a second Crashbar mold release despite needing two for the officially-unofficial Junkasaurus. I like the version I came up with that only uses one better, but 5-member teams are traditional for TF combiners so I can see where they're coming from.
I’ve had Prowl for a good while and I really like him. I originally got him only for potential fan projects but none of those have come to pass yet but it’s still nice having a Prowl at all because this is my first Prowl. Though it makes it a pain when I want to decide which versions of what characters appear in whatever because I can’t have ROTB Arcee and Prowl in the same thing because you’ll start questioning why Arcee’s smaller.
That rant aside, if you grew up watching more of Derrick J Wyatt’s stuff stuff you’d probably be fine with the Animated aesthetic. Since I did I have no problem with Animated’s look and I disagree with you saying that it was something that needed to be fixed and more of something you wanted done differently as disrespectful to Mr Wyatt as it might be that they take his unique designs and make them generic G1 looking bots. It might not be disrespectful but this thing did definitely come out at a very awkward time in all honesty.
And the OG Animated Prowl toy was able to do the bike right because being so skinny he could fit in more places than the Legacy one can. There’s less mass so it’s easier to hide

I think the Prowl could have looked a bit more dynamic and cartoony, but I agree that Crashbar is absolutely awesome. Also, the Generations Selects Inferno repaint is Antagony, a BotCon character, not Scavenger.
Mr. Pend, gen selects Antagony was not designed to be scavenger. Mark had to include an alt head, and did it as a neat call back. It’s not trying to be scavenger, because that’s not the main head. It’s color matched to inferno anyways. But yeah the bikes are great. Evo Shrapnel and universe hound double review? Also I’ll eat my shoe if prowl is armada sideways. He doesn’t share ideas with sideways on purpose, it’s by accident. They’re not going to suddenly make one of these armada guys look incredibly inaccurate, when the rest have been spot on.
I've been on the fence about picking up a Prowl but now I think I'll get him.

Idk how I feel about these new Animated figures. The originals aren’t super outdated or anything, and they’re basically perfect looking. These new ones are cool as their own thing, but them coming out so soon after Derrick J Wyatt passed just feels a little weird to me.

And they exist so the match a Chug Shelf better, which is a solid reason to exist.

I never watched Armada, but I love his design
So honestly I really don’t have that much to say about crashbar and animated prowl, but what I can really say is that these are probably the best characters that turn into bikes, if there was one character that I had to choose that’s my favorite, it would be prowl in robot mode, I just think prowl looks cooler and I like this design of prowl, crashbars robot mode is good, not my favorite, but is really good, but the bike mode for prowl is kinda mixed, on one hand it’s pretty decent, but it has some problems, the transformation is pretty hard and confusing at time and I just feel like it needed to do better, but crashbars transformation is pretty good and I do like his bike mode more than prowls, so overall I really do like these guys and are considered to be the best bikeformers of all time.
So my only major gripe with prowl is how they handled the weapons. Him not beikg able to reliably hold both shuriken bothers me way mare than it probably should amd tbh I'd rather he only be able to hold his weapons because giving him a gun feels really out of character and he can't hold most of the swords i have because the bottom of the 5mm ports is blocked by forearm sculpting.
I get why they went that way with one hand being 5MM and not, but I also feel like they could have made both 5MM and then given him a set of accessories that let him hold the Shuriken properly.
I was gonna wait for a sale on Prowl
But now with the existence of the other Animated Lads(who i am excited as hell for) i intend to bite the bullet on him when i either order the United Animated bois in December for my Birthday/New Years or buy them in January when they become “officially out”

At first i didn't like the junkions (other than animated reckgar) but the 86 reckgar looked great so i got him, then scraphook came out and had a dope alt mode, so now I have him. But me like garbage truck so I had to get trashmaster. Then I saw this video and realized I might as well complete the set and now I have crashbar. Now im obsessed with these guys and want more. Also i think slammer would look great with them.

Legacy Silverbolt leaked. I'm unsure about the robot head for now but otherwise he looks great. I think the beast mode is an improvement over the show model as well. They also revealed MP Rhinox. I can't wait to see how this one's screwed up.

If Prowl is a pre-tool for Legacy Armada Sideways then I might skip Prowl and just wait for Sideways. The original Sideways was a childhood toy of mine alongside the Deluxe Class Optimus Prime. Sadly Sideways is no longer with me, but I hope Legacy does him some justice. Hell if they need to use the deluxe figure, give him some more tooling and mark him as a voyager box set with his Two minicons just so he can do the insignia change with the heads.

omg I found Crashbar's handlebars the other day. I got onto Hasbro for not including them lol. Now I have to do a short correcting this mistake. I just found crashbars shurikin thing aswell. UA-cam isn't doing the best job of telling me when your videos happen so even though I'm subscribed I miss most of them, and when I do see them they are typically just at really bad times, so I go "I'll watch that later" at which point youtube just doesn't remind me about it.
