When I discovered this remix for the first time I had goosebumps, Eminem's clever storytelling and The Weeknd's incredible voice are a dangerous combo.
I remember hearing weeknd say that he liked this remix and he got called up by Em before he recorded it. He was asked if he had Em's nr and he replied "no, he called from his studio. U don't get hold on Eminem. Eminem gets a hold on u"

Never seen a remix that’s done this well, I’ve seen plenty of remixes with incredible rapping, but this remix seems like it’s the original song, the subject matter with all of the crazy bars are just perfect on the song

Remember when I first heard this remix. It blew me away, and I definitely thought “oh this is personal, this has real life in it”. Incredible how Eminem’s hard AF verses, tattooed flow, vocal tone and cadence bring a whole other storied dimension to this track that originally was already fire, and one of my favorite songs of all time. This is one of the tracks I think of when people dare say "Oh, he just raps fast..." and then I roll my eyes. If Eminem WANTS to, he can flow perfectly on a track and TO a track. He can take himself back and let the singers do their magic just like he can take a beat and murder it and reform it so you don't even know it was there in the first place.
Honestly, I love this type of songs, where he complements instead of dominates a track. (Not that I love them more. Just ... love them. Like children: you can love each one of them equally, right? 😂)
