"The legend of the angry blonde lives on through you when I’m gone...." -THE LEGEND
Love this line
this line give me chills every time I hear it, without fail... Em IS forever a legend
Like I’m the real slim shady he says there’s a shady in all of us
I literally just quoted that line in a comment on another reactors channel.. that line made me tear up
Beautiful pain, guts over fear and Kings never die all give me the same chills everytime I listen, powerful songs!
Yeah, the south paw soundtrack is so underrated.
Exactly
Phenomenal
Phenomenal as well🙇🏽♂️🐐🔥🔥🔥
Believe has the same vibe too. The motivational em songs are something else!
This song is definitely for the fans, encouraging them to go after their dreams and make the best out of their lives.
I love the part where he goes off and says: "This is for every kid ...
YOU are the reason that I made this song"
And I like how he spelled it out that he includes everyone under that category. No exception.
Similar sentiment to the third verse of Fall “somewhere some kid is bumping this while he lip syncs in the mirror, that’s who I’m doing this for, the rest I don’t really even care”
@@zachlisiecki3237 exactly, always catch myself singing along to it😅
@@zachlisiecki3237 "that's why we sing for these kids who don't have a thing"
This guy can make grown men cry
I wish he had held onto this one and dropped it as his last single ever. The song has a sense of uplift while also having a sense of finality to it, like here’s the torch. You’ve gotten everything I have to give.
Every time I hear the last phrase I get goosebumps and some nostalgia feeling
Yeah man I feel you... Ever heard this leaked song I forgot the name but it's from 07 king Mathers album that never dropped, he was seriously considering quitting, he doesn't even rap on it, it's just him thanking everyone over a beat, you should look it up, if that was his last goodbye it would have been a shit way for him to go out coz he sounded so defeated
@@eyegee6556 it's called "it's been real"
It’s too good
Fr all of the great moments plus the final bar “the legend of the angry blonde lives on through you when I’m gone” seems like the end of his reign
I I've listened to Eminem 4 over 20 years, he is the best rapper 💯💯
Facts..checks ALL the boxes..been listening since Infinite. 96 I believe..25 years!! 🤯
Me too fellas. Over 20 years and counting. It's been an amazing ride. 💯🐐👑
4:20 👀 👀
@@ThatShtCrey the coincidence is crazy 🤯😂
No hes not
"Yo stevie.. im proud of how big your channels gotten man"
Stevie " it aint fuckin' with best friend tho..."
Lollll
😂
😂😂😂😂😂 i laughed so hard
Em is his only competition, almost impossible to find a vs.
100% TRUE
Royce is his closest match
“Sometimes I listen and revisit them old albums
Often as I can and skim through all them bitches
To make sure I keep up with my competition, ha ha” Evil Twin
Thanks for letting me have the chance to quote one of my favorite lines from him
Em vs Wayne the only vs ill accept for the both of them
Maybe jadakiss...em would win ultimately but jada would go shot for shot till the end
Sia and Em are a great pair. Her style suits Em so well when he's spittin about emotional or serious stuff on a track. Her voice is elevating and emotional but serious at the same time.
Fuckin finally, one of my most favourite Em songs!
This is one of my FAVORITE songs PERIOD. Not just Eminem songs. All songs.
This past year, I had to learn to walk again after having my leg rebuilt. This track helped me get out of my wheelchair. It hits me right where I live SO HARD.
Sia also killed the chorus
Stevie really be catching everything and he knows what he's talking about , even the fact that he caught that "sounding like AZ and Nas" bar , was because of infinite .. dope stuff
the thing about saying em sounded like AZ and Nas is those are two styles that would be incredibly hard to duplicate and would take a lot of talent to be able to do.
it would be like saying someone throws the ball like tom brady.....ya and?
There is so much that I love about this song:
Eminem showing how he doubts himself and overthink stuff.
Em opening up about how he felt like the world is attacking him.
When he talks about how people criticized Infinite and made him come up with Slim Shady and how before that, during his childhood, he was always doubted and taught he won't amount to shit (which he also talks about in Legacy and Airplanes part 2).
Em talking to the listeners that are going through the same stuff he went through. This really is a motivational song.
Em showing how sad it makes him to look back at some of the things he did during his career and depressingly wondering if it's time for him to quit
Fucking love this song.
Best Friend is better though.
Best friend, in my opinion his greatest verse. So much content in it.
I think Em and Sia had a great dynamic even more than Rihanna, Pink, Skylar etc, I wish they still made music together
Feels like since MMLP2 he hasn't gone back with any of em, well he brings Skylar in A LOT. But not the other's you mentioned as much.
Thought he had a really great dynamic with Jesse Rodriguez on those 2 tracks on Kamikaze as well.
@@SuperMunkehand the song he featured on hers as well "Coffin" it's tragic and twisted but beautiful at the same time.
Eminem continues to rap with more passion than any other rapper
"Stimulate" by eminem... just throwing that out there lol
I've been saying that for a minute lol
stimulate is nuts
Idk how Stimulate isn't more known..fire
I've been wanting him to do that one for the longest
He did it on Patreon a long time ago but he didn’t get it the double( if I remember correctly)
He can do raw, funny, angry, regretful, insightful, loving, narrative, etc. When you can put out such a variety, you'll never run out of what you can create.
My favorite line this song is, “The legend of the angry blonde lives on you when I’m gone” that’s why I buy 2 copies of everyone of Eminem’s albums, because you never know when this guy is going to stop rapping and retire…
I buy 2 of each album too. I want to have him autograph my extra cd's one day. I've been working on a letter for him for a year. Want to make sure I take my time and revisit my feelings to explain how his music impacts my life. You damn right. We are blessed to have lived to witness Marshall Mathers 💛
I NEEDED this. I forgot it even existed until I saw this reaction pop up. It ain't messing with best friend in terms of technicality, but the feeling and message it gives me makes it a "better" song, in my opinion
The fact that this song was for the equalizer is fitting af
"Only outfit so you know they're gonna talk about it" as in when he was poor and couldn't afford new clothes, so kids would tease him for it
That shit hit different for me
The yellow jumpsuit he only had to wear when he met Dre.
I gotta be honest. I've always hated rap. I had a high & mighty attitude about it... "That shit ain't music. It's crap." I never even listened to any unless it was by mistake. I'd see Eminem on MTV back in the day and thought it was funny but not "music". But, one day I stumbled across your channel and saw the Killshot reaction. I was literally floored by the talent of Eminem. Just in the writing alone! Then I went down the rabbit hole. I have been watching all of the Eminem reaction videos of you breaking down all his songs. I am now a massive fan. I can't believe the stuff that man comes up with!
This song (Guts over fear) actually made me tear up. His truth is almost heartbreaking at times. No wonder the guy is angry as fuck. Stuff from your childhood can fuck you up for life. Anyway, he is now someone I respect and admire and I love his MUSIC! Never thought I would say that about a rapper. Thanks for helping me along this journey!
I know I’m really late, but welcome to the party! I personally think that Em is the best ever but I’m glad he opened your eyes to lyrical rap and hopefully you check out more rappers. A lot of talented people out there writing their own version of musical poetry
Listen to Legacy. That shit gives me chills because it's my life completely bruh!
This is exactly the same road i took LOL
Air Planes II's one of his best verses for me 🔥
That verse really is pretty flawless
it smooth verse but not better thn best frnd
@@frankysuchiang4256 nobody said that
So stoked you finally did this track! Such a motivational song!!!
The last part of Bad Guy deserves another reaction imo
Agree! It is amazingly done.
He did a 2.0 on the Patreon a few months ago
This is definitely one of his most heart felt songs, this and space bound r my go to when i feel like just quitting this game of life, as far as storytelling and concept, it s definitely up there with Best Friend
The word is storytelling stevie
When eminem lets off on the gas with the bars,it's always story time.
Love Guts Over Fear man. Always super inspiring. 💯🐐👑
Crazy how so many songs on this album shot right past me… every time I hear a really good Em song I haven’t heard before it came from this album
Yea I always say this album flew under people’s radars because it came out almost exactly a year after mmlp2 in November of 2014 then nothing until revival in 2017
And it was collaborative album too so it also had other songs on it but it had a few new EM songs
This song actually rented a space in my head for I don't know how long but bruh.. em a fuckin beast😍😍😍
One my favorites gives me chills every time
Man same song and dance was so dope conceptually, like her last dance is her fighting off and her screaming is like a song to him🔥🔥 love how fucked up it is lol
His creativity on that album was nothing short of genius. When he switched to the Yoda voice on bufallo Bill I lost it
@@brandonayong5823 and then he switched up to yoda's voice again on mmlp2 I can't remember if it was on So far or Rhyme or Reason
@@davisulo96 rhyme or reason
@@brandonayong5823 he goes crazy on that one
Stay wide awake too, whooooo
"There was a lot of bizarre shit but the crazy part was as soon as I stopped saying I gave fuck haters started to appreciate my art". He's saying that as soon as he went crazy and became slim shady and said fuck the world the haters appreciated his songs more. Fire🔥🔥💯
I grew up with these type of songs from Em. Everytime I listen to these songs, it ALWAYS brings back memories man!
I can't actually listen to this one without tearing up, actually saved my life, couldn't appreciate it more, but best friend verse is 🔥 best friend can't be beat, unless em releases a better one 😅
Listened to this song on replay for hours. It speaks volumes. People live in fear whether in a relationship or faced with a situation in life that they cant get out of. Having the Guts to face fear in the face is do it anyway is hard. Listen to this song and you get the strength to face it! Eminem is The Goat Of Hip Hop🙇🏽♂️🐐✨🎯💯(Also you might’ve heard this song in the movie called “The Equalizer” starring Denzel Washington it came out the same year this came out in 2014)
Sia killed this chorus 🔥
So deep and playing with my heart strings. You give me the inspiration to keep it moving while being my authentic self.
Stevie can't stop smiling when these songs deliver! The same with Shaq. Love these reactions!!
Thank you for reigniting my passion for Em and reminding me what his music means to me bro. Love your channel.
His verse in the Chloraseptic remix was one of my favorite or his verse in Detroit vs Everybody. Couple tough ass verses. Not sure if it’s better than Best Friend but definitely FIRE 🔥 verses.
FINALLY. This been in the vault for to long.
Love that Stevie shouted out the chorus. Hard af!
can tell you are not just a hip hop head but a music head that can enjoy hard music from all genres
Good to see this again, this song gives me chills everytime!🔥
17:31 - As soon as he stopped caring what other people thought, they appreciated it.
Filtering what you say could be holding you back. Be yourself, not give a f*** and see what the universe brings you. Some won't like it but many more might love it.
Em can be ur only artist you listen to, his songs never ends the consistency insanely crazy
The actual video clip is great too,
gives me chills every fckn time
All his verses are fire but the message on this song hits different 💯💯💯
This song came out when I was training to try out for a college basketball team. I felt overmatched and almost let my doubts keep me from going. Ended up not making the team but I went out on my own terms and I can live with that. Couldn’t live with quitting on myself. Listening to this song made me keep going during those days
This is my favorite Eminem song, i listened to this song when I was a younger and was going through some shit with family and other problems! I remember I would only listen to this song, this always made me feel so close to Eminem, makes you feel in a situation that he really knows you and wrote that song especially for you! It's so fucking amazing what Eminem can do with his writing. I haven't heard this song in a while and this reaction just made me remember with a lot of nostalgy my life!
Bad Guys last verses is def top 3 IMO.
💯 it may not be as lyrical as some of his other shit BUT it was heavy. I told one of my boys that I put that verse up against almost everything out now and I was told I didn’t know I was talking about.
I agree. Top 3 verses. Love that verse with his "demonic" voice overlapping as he raps. 💪💪
Yep if if you gonna Diss Eminem it gotta beat that bad guy last verse good luck to all who try 🤣
Bad Guy has the best Eminem verse of all time. That switch up at the end was NUTS!!!
Dope ass reaction my dude. Awesome. This song was in the credits of the movie The Equalizer. Goes hand in hand with the overall plot of the movie
I've listened to this song so freaking much and I'm just now realizing when he says style during the "had to change my style" line you can hear the voice he uses to differentiate his evil twin Slim Shady. Never cease to learn something new when I listen to his songs no matter how many times I have.
1 of the greatest song, super motivational and super underrated.
This song makes me red everytime I listen to it. They both have so much energie on this song
Yeah it can't touch best friend but this is an anthem for sure!!
It's not a verse, it's a song and I know you have heard it but or me "not afraid" beats best friend verse even though best friend verse is out of this world and both have meaning to myself, not afraid wins but both are at the top of my playlist 🔥🔥
Love this song. Wow every time I think I heard all his music...theres more
this song is like him connecting with those who where there from the begining the real stans who grew up and blast his songs daily and appreciate his art this song hits different in certain times
It's one of my top personal favourite song by him after beautiful pain.. He needs to collab with sia again
"Take if with a grain of salt and eat their fucking faces off" was a double with people that eat bath salts and we're eating people's faces lol Dats Tuff!!!😂
It could be a triple and it still wouldn't be a great bar.
@@radarinfinite1032 when your right, and sooo wrong :D
@McFlickers it's still not a good bar. The grain of salt part is good it goes well with his his song. The eat faces part is obviously a metaphor but not a good one still.
He is a inspiration to everyone love em
Wicked Ways should b talked about more in his best song/verse conversation 🤔 ima listen now again tho and put it against Best Friend.
I think best friend was such an emotional verse from em you could feel it pouring out of him and it just grabs you because of thatemotuin he puts into it from start to finish and why it can't be topped
Love this song. The GOAT
You can't compare apples to oranges!! This track and BEST FRIEND are not comparable! They're both great in their own greatness!
Beautiful pain is even more impressive
Been waiting for this one! Do y’all already know 🔥🔥
That gain of salt, eat their faces off was a bath salts reference lol
Too comment talking about “you’re never over” I been saying that shit for years. It was one of the last songs on recovery but it’s a super emotional tribute to proof but em just goes absolutely off on that song. “Soon as I was laying on that table I knew, I was gonna make it, as soon as you said think of hailey I knew, there was no way that I was ever gonna leave them babies and proof, not many are lucky enough to have a guardian angel like you, please lord I’m thankful don’t think I don’t feel grateful I do.”
Best friend will be tough cause em just has so much passion when talking about about people closest to him. RIP Proof
'The Legend of the Angry Blonde lives on through you when I'm gone.' That is totally Epic!
It's so fitting and Em would probably love the idea that people think his best verse is best friend considering it's about proof (RIP) who literally encouraged him to rap when his confidence was low and he considered quiting similar to future and B Rabbit in 8 mile
Wait, is this so? Where can I learn the whole story? Damn,... 😥
Inspirational shit right there!!
youre' never over...it's a proof tribute and dope af
He said “ as soon as I said I don’t give a fuck people started to appreciate my art”
“Key” skit gets slept on
No one goes into a hook like Eminem! It’s always so seamless.
Facts!!!💯
🔥 never heard this song but damn it hits hard those words
You been missing bro
I think he said it wasn't until he stopped giving af that haters started appreciating his art
Agree, Stevie. "Best Friend" is my fav. The way he builds up and hits those triplets at the end. BOMB 💯🔥🔥
And Em once said he'll write the hardest verse for Proof in one of his songs.
What a legend.
The only thing that was missing from the Eminem-world a couple of years back was a good enough bar-breaking-reactor. We all felt that empty space but we didn't know what was needed until you came along! Your reactions always makes me respect his songs more, and i didn't even think that was possible xD
OMG I’ve been subscribed to ur channel for so long I cant believe I missed this reaction! What u JUST said is EXACTLY what was said during an interview w/Em on Lil Wayne’s Tunechi Podcast & they BOTH said there’s times when they’re laying versus they gotta Google their own lyrics to make sure they didn’t say it before cuz both have had such a long great career but it’s crazy that u brought up Lil Wayne! He said the SAME THING u just said about Wayne… You gotta watch it!
“The legend of the angry blonde live on through you ” is prolly the most relatable line for any stan
Please do beautiful pain as well. You will love it.
This is one of my favourite Em songs. Absolute fire.
I've listened to this song so many times and it's one of my favourites but I'm learning right now sheesh🔥😂😂🔥🔥
This been my gym music some years now...
His verse on fast lane is dope as fuck
U should react to eminem underground relapsed serial killer barssssss 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥💯
It's such an UNORTHADOX BEAT AND HE RIDES THAT POCKET THROUGHOUT. THEN THE CONTEXT ON TOP ......NASTYYY
There’s an actual music video and it’s pretty epic
One his most underrated songs my G ..he got many but this in top 5 of his most underrated 💯
Every time I hear that song I got goosebump.whan of the best story delivery. But the goat is not say last
One of my favorite Em songs! Soooo good! His music with Jessie Reyez is sooo good too! I’m probably spelling her name wrong.
Coffin is dope af🔥
Definitely one of my top Em songs. It just hits different and never gets old. This one and headlights are always on my Playlist!
Also feel like the official video makes this song go even harder. It's super well done!
“How many times can I say the same thing different ways that rhyme” 🔥
Last verse on “Bad Guy” is up there imo.
