    Justin why did you decide to replace 10:06 your Jeep with a Bronco? I'm researching Overlanding and all I see are Jeeps and Tacomas. It's been almost a year and you now have your Bronco, anything you miss from your Jeep?

    • @JustinBMcBride
      @JustinBMcBride  2 роки тому

      Wow - missed this comment. The biggest reason I replaced the Jeep was the opportunity to work with Ford. I don’t own the Bronco, they do. I get to drive it for a year in exchange for content they can use in their marketing materials.
      While it is similar to the Jeep, it is still very different and stands on its own. There is a lot more to say about it. I think I should make a one year review video…

    Just subscribed. Saw the thumbnail of the 2-door and had to watch. Your vid is the first I've seen showcasing the 2-door. I've owned an M38 Willys, an FJ40 and a TJ in the past. Also owned two FS Broncos. I feel the 2-door shows direct homage to the late 60s early 70s Bronco. The 4-door, while cool, is sacrilege, lol. I'm torn between the Badlands w/285s or the Sasquatch. This will be my daily driver. What is ingress/egress like between the two? Thanks for shooting an awesome vid! I really appreciate it.

    Yep- I agree, though I'm running a 2door manual Badlands stock. It's partly a daily driver so the 33's roll just fine for town and also for trails. Amazing capability with this ride, and I'm a longtime Jeep runner. My old YJ is a beast and it's a vibe ride for sure, but it's literally like a covered wagon mule ride compared to the Bronco. Lol...

      Did ya get your BD? I ordered the same thing, just got my build date a few days ago; 3/28. Super excited! And I absolutely agree with you, I was torn between the BD and the Badlands, and I just had to be super honest with myself: When would I, or when have I EVER needed a sway bar disconnect? I've been offroading moderately for 25+ years (some of that time with actual 70's and 80's Broncos), and I just don't see myself ever needing it. I'd rather spend that money on a winch, or a vacation LOL. Anyway, hope you got it and are having lots of fun with your Bronco!

    Great video. Appreciate the perspective. I did see your comment about the MGV seats being the best Bronco seats. I am torn there. I haven't had the chance to sit in the MGV interior yet, only leather. The real question I have, how bad was the back sweat on the MGV? Better than leather, worse than leather? I just can't seem to commit to the MGV, but I have a feeling that is the answer for me. Had a cloth seat interior Jeep for years, now we have a Sahara with leather in the stable, but that will get replaced by the Bronco (someday).
