I see you are turning wide s turns, how can you still ride correctly but decreasing the turns size so you are more in a straight line down the mountain?
To be fair, the "correct" turns highlighted in your video had significantly slower transitions and more travel distance as compared to the "incorrect" turns. This begs the question: Are these actually incorrect turns as you have labelled them or different types of turns for different scenarios? For example, you wouldn't want to be using the "correct" turns in this video to handle black diamond moguls? Please let me know your opinion on this subject!
Tanner Forrest we can all agree the rider who can’t adapt to different terrain is less competent rather than finding excuse whether moguls should be ridden or not. one of the “incorrect” turns highlighted in this video is preloading/twisting your upper body. It is frequently used for jumps and steeper terrain allowing the lower body to turn quicker. To a new rider, labelling that as incorrect could be misleading.
actually you can do black diamond with this stance. you just need to turn your shoulders faster and half squat on each turn to slow down. there is another video on the channel explaining it. tried it in the Alpes on a narrow black slope. works like a charm
tharealmb id say the best way not to be scared of going fast is to just try to keep going faster little by little trying to beat your top speed, and evetually you’ll be comfortable going faster.
more tutorials! thank you

Let's be honest, the only "incorrect" aspect of this scenario is riding black diamond moguls on a snowboard.
