the Borgias Hair Tutorial - Giulia Farnese
Вставка
- Опубліковано 18 лис 2015
- It can be difficult to replicate the hairstyles on the Borgias, because they use so much extra hair in extensions and add on braid pieces. But here is an updo that most people can do on themselves, worn by the glamorous Giulia Farnese!
Difficulty: Moderate
Hair Length: at least bra strap length (BSL)
Materials: bobby pins, small hair elastics, large hair elastics, string of pearls
Skills needed: English braid, rope braid
Time cost: 25-50 minutes
ideal hairtype: any

Wearing it for a quince. Thank you for posting a tutorial without extensions!
-Greetings from Buenos Aires, Argentina
OMG I LOVE YOU.
Please do Natalie's Dormer at Tudors, the one she wears with the yellow dress.
+Andrea Macias I have yet to watch that show, but I really want to!
A way to hide the hairties and the unbraided sections from near that ist to wrap them around the bases of the ponytails! I figured this out when I had trouble hiding these pieces when I had already pinned the braided buns 😊
Beautiful, you did a good job as always !
You could do a Guilia look with a ferronniere, that is a small, delicate head necklace worn on the forehead, alternatively, you could get a headband and attach a small jewel on it to get that Rennaissance aesthetic!
i kinda wear something simmilar on a daily basis, but this is much more elegant and beautiful. i love it and would love to try it for an special event. and i love historical knowledge too. the cloth and hairstyles are so beautiful. thank you for this inspiration
I've done the fourth or fifth hairstyle from your channel and it always works. Thanks for this great inspiration and the really good tutorials.
Beautiful and so easy!
Is so beautiful!😍 Your amazing.
I love your tutorials ! They're so originals and I love to replicate them with my hair haha ! My friends at school are always asking me how I do my hairstyles !
really beautiful !
I love it. I love to see more.... You do very good job.
Oooh, this looks really pretty and fairly quick if you're fast with braids. (And good to accessorise with shiny decorations!)
+Stormandfire all the shinies!
Omg I love your tutorials! It's great to see high quality tutorials depicting hairstyles from historical periods, or awesome updo's from movies/shows. would you be able to do a tutorial of when Lucrezia Borgia meets alfonso, or when she is teaching the cardinals how to make bread (in the popes position) because I love those styles and that would be amazing!
I LOOOOOVE your channel
Beautiful, you are a really good teacher ! My hair are wavy, I think this tutorial is not for me but your videos are very varied, I always find something for me =)
that purple is perfection on you!
+April Livingston thanks!
Oh I just found your tutorial on the braid frizz 👌
Amazing.
I will defenitly use this one at the next SCA event!
Cool! Thank you for that perfect video. I try to do the same with my hair.. I'm waiting for new video.
So pretty :D
So pretty! I tried this with good results. Could you do more borgia or borgia inspired tutorials?
awesome
UA-cam subtitles are hilarious:
Silvousplaits= recieve the plaits. I also go Evil plates in another one of your videos.
love the videos! It would be great to see a tutorial on Cinderella's "maid" hair from the new live Disney version.
+Krystle Moilliet I've already done it! ua-cam.com/video/-gheOfeH9bk/v-deo.html
I've done back buns like that before and I've found starting from closer to the part and a bit up and moving diagonally toward the lower outer edge of the hair below your ear for two or three stitches of dutch braid under where the bun will be gives a good anchor for pinning the buns and helps keep hair from sagging. Sorry if that makes no sense
My Dear
How you manage to figure out hairstyle from a movie. I’ve seen so many amazing hairdoes but I don’t know how to recreate them. How do you do it! ;D amazing videos! I love them !
could you do some Mockingjay 2 hair tutorials ?
You have great tutorials! Is there a reason why you don't use a comb or brush and make your parts straight? Keep the torials coming...
this one is really pretty and very easy. most of your hairstyles are too hard for me to do.
You can always use a thinner elastic, braid and bun? I'm trying to think of a way to hide the elastic. I have thinner hair, so I'm sure one of those itty bitty rubbery elastics would do for the ponytails, but for thicker hair, you might want to braid, bun and maybe cut your elastic (if you don't mind parting with two elastics?)
Another great hairstyle!
please please please do Kristens hair that she wore during Pentatonix performance of Star Wars Medley. that would make my life!!! thanks ^_^
Do Anne Boylen from tudors
Interesting I remember her wearing what appeared to be a rope braid crown (or halo), similar to your Leia on Hoth crown braid except a rope braid. I would guess that would give the rope braid the thickness and pop effect it has on the show. But then you wouldn't have enough hair to make the braid buns in the back.
+Emily Edmonds She wears a few different versions that look similar to this. This one I think was in the middle of season 3.
+Silvousplaits it looks really good!
Her videos are so good! How old is she?! 😱👍🏼
+laurenhk19 I'm 23 :)
