I think the Fuji Film X100F is the perfect camera to travel with. It's light weight and doesn't take up much space in my luggage. The 24 megapixel APSC sensor makes it a great option for low light as well as cropping without losing image quality because it's limited to one 35mm equivalent lens.
Thanks for watching!

2:07 What an absolutely breathtaking image! The clouds are simply magnificent and the way they're reflected on the water is flawless. The sailboats in the distance add a perfect touch to the already stunning scene. It looks like a work of art that has been expertly crafted and could easily be mistaken for a high-quality render. Gained a new SUB!!!
Bought mine used a couple of weeks ago for $1100. Probably paid too much but it was in excellent condition and low shutter count. Really enjoying it so far. Was a Canon shooter for many years but switched to Sony because of their awesome quality with photos and video. I was a wedding videographer.
Sounds like you got a good deal:) it’s a great camera! I was just shocked with how high the prices have gotten on the used market. I’m glad you’re enjoying it definitely check out Fuji x weekly for recipes!
I got mine in fall of 2021 and was so attempted to get the x 100v . Seller had 4 Fuji batteries to include too and the x100v was pristine condition and I think out was $1200 cad but I saw the x100f available in new condition too and it was $700 I think so I got it . Maybe I should have gotten the x100v instead 😓 the film recipes and grain is much better
Thank you for your video! I am a *very* amateur photographer. My film cameras are very basic. My cousin's husband gifted me this camera yesterday. My mind is exploding right now lol I've always wanted to be better, so here's my chance. Ty for going over some things I didn't hear in other videos 😁
Glad it was helpful! I know the feeling! It will get easier if you keep shooting:) what a great gift!! Thanks for sharing and good luck on your journey you have a great camera!
I bought my x100F five years ago for 100 dollars on eBay. It’s pure joy
Now that’s a great deal:)
🤯🤯🤯
Fantastic video! I Just got one of these myself for an overseas trip that I leave for tomorrow! Leaving all my DSLR gear at home and just going reconnect to the fixes lens ‘limited’ photography journey without going through the LR process.
The images starting at 1:10 are so nice and the skin tones are perfect, are they an out of camera recipe? Or are they edited in LR?
I hope your trip went well! I’m sure your back is thanking you :) the photos at 1:10 were shot film recipe. I went on Fuji x weekly to get a starting point for a lot of the ones that I ended up with. I’m working on a detailed video of my favorites since I’ve got a lot of questions about them:)
@@JesseDeyoung ah excellent! I look forward to seeing it. And yes my trip was bloody unreal thank you, I got some of the best shots I’ve ever taken on that little camera! Very stoked with the outcome.
Hey Jesse! Love the photos that you're getting straight out of camera. What recipe settings are you using (if you don't mind sharing)?
Thanks! Some were straight out of camera and some I edited the raw files in Lightroom. I don’t mind sharing:) I was planning on putting out a recipe video soon! I went on Fuji x weekly to get some ideas on where to start with the recipes. Highly recommend👌
Got mine last week for $600 and I love it so far
I’m glad you got a good deal on it! It’s a great camera:)
Could you post the recipe you used for hawai? Thanks :)
Yes, please!
Hi! Really cool video, thanks for the info.
Which shooter-count number do you consider limiting in order to buy it second hand?
I'm considering buying one so, would apreciate the help.
I don’t know an exact number but I would suggest googling what the x100F shutter is rated for and look for something that has less than half that number. If it has more than half that rating the price should be lower! I hope this helps! It’s not an exact science some cameras exceed the rating by 100k and are still working fine. It’s more of an indication of how much it’s been used.
Did you use a recipe for this Hawaii trip? If so, which one?
What was the recipe used in this video?
I made a UA-cam short showing my favorite recipe which is what I used in this video. It should be easy to find!
