Hi, I think there is a problem in last formula. Indeed, for pump, tan(Beta2)=Vr2/(U2-Vteta2) and so at the end: h=U2^2/g-U2.Q/(2.pi.r2.b2.g.tan(Beta2)). Best Regards, Sylvain.
Although it's possible to have forward curved blades the drawing presented until the first 2 min 30 sec seems unrealistic. From then the direction is inverted to clock wise rotation and the velocity triangles look better. However, there is an inverted vector in the eye of the impeller. The authors should have been more careful with such an important topic.
'b2' is width of flow passage at outlet, it is perpendicular to the plane. Width of flow passage x Perimeter = Flow Area
Good video, but get rid of the Robot voice. Using a normal, human, ear friendly voice doesn't stress one out
