The concept of relative velocity is usually not explained in school and colleges which makes learning velocity diagram difficult. Thanks for the video.

Aditya Pillai I was nervous when I posted this comment a year ago during exams session :) , I didn't meant this video isn't helpful. I've graduated and I feel free.. , And you guys Please stop arguing here!
Hi, I think there is a problem in last formula. Indeed, for pump, tan(Beta2)=Vr2/(U2-Vteta2) and so at the end: h=U2^2/g-U2.Q/(2.pi.r2.b2.g.tan(Beta2)). Best Regards, Sylvain.
Although it's possible to have forward curved blades the drawing presented until the first 2 min 30 sec seems unrealistic. From then the direction is inverted to clock wise rotation and the velocity triangles look better. However, there is an inverted vector in the eye of the impeller. The authors should have been more careful with such an important topic.
'b2' is width of flow passage at outlet, it is perpendicular to the plane. Width of flow passage x Perimeter = Flow Area

Good video, but get rid of the Robot voice. Using a normal, human, ear friendly voice doesn't stress one out

Nicely explained and easy to understand ,thanks .
I hate lessons described by robots
you guys also hate the accent which the south Indian tutor uses. At least the robot's words are understandable.
Whitmer Gaming I think they don't have an english speaking person who can explain or understand concepts like these.
You guys should have stayed there! :P

Sure.. I understand Aden Mhed

A lecture by Dr. Hawking I see
good one :)
excellent, good idea.
Great for full thanks
Pretty good and easy to understand 🙂
Volume flowrate should be equal 2.Pi.r1.b2.Vr2
looks like r2 and r1 are wrongly labelled. r2 shold be the long one.
I think r2 is the long one and r1 is the short one.....
Exactly. r2 is the discharge radius., the video has error in it.
I would say the same
good animation for understanding for Compressors...
good video,easy to understand
So helpful! Thank you!
excellent excellent excellent

Thanks alot for this but Why is the video quality unavailable?
This is good video. . but can you reupload this video with better voice
thanks a lot. It solved my query.
At time 3.08, should not V - U be -W? V is not blade speed + rel vel.
Sir, can you make a video on fluid flow direction with respect to ground and with respect to plate visualization
What is "m" with a dot over in the Euler Equation ?
Mass flow rate
This is great. Thanks.
This is fucking brilliant
Toxic, yes!
3:50 angle opposite of blade velocity? that doesn't make any sense, you need 2 vectors to form an angle
thank u
excuse me, what is b2?
Thickness of blade
Slow the audio.... And still difficult to get...
how to get the value of the m dot?
It's good
I didn't understand relative velocity and velocity triangle
i need to know on how do HFO purifier work
not clear while describing it in thjree dimension
CONTINEYU
Why do they always have robotic voices?
Because turbomachines are not human
Mandan ramesh
I am in love with you
Bad video .. i get more confusion
I Hate Velocity
