I hope you don't mind a little constructive criticism. Unless one of those guitars are wired backwards, you should probably redo this video. In almost all comparisons one guitar was on the neck pickup and the other the bridge. I hate to nitpick but comparing a neck to a bridge pickup vastly skews the comparison. I think this is the first complaint I've had on any of your videos. Cheers Cliff. 🍻
No hard feelings at all dude I appreciate the feedback. There is actually a spot in the video where you can see me realize this halfway through and my hand reaches for the selector. I figured to myself that I was still getting the point across about the tone differences, output, and breakup but thank you! I want to deliver good quality stuff and really appreciate your comment to help me improve! Cheers dude.
@@riffwithcliff Matching even the volume is critical to doing any timbre comparison in any audio application EVER. Very easy to avoid mistake that invalidates the entire example you gave in the video.
Two items I don't think you've accounted for: 1. The scale length difference between the LP and Tele makes a huge difference in the sound. A neck P-90 in a Tele sounds very different to the same neck P-90 in an LP. 2. While it depends on specs of the Tele pickups, P-90s and Tele neck pickups generally have the same output (~7.5k). The extra push in a British-style amp from a P-90 comes from the added midrange, not the pure output.

I like ‘em all.
Filter-tron vs HB would be cool too as both are dual coil.
I like them all too! If I get my hands on a Filter-tron I’ll be sure and do a video! Thanks for watching!

Ffs tune your guitars
There is a huge difference in tone between a solid body and a hollow body. Might want to compare apples.
