@@stevestowell-virtue3781 That's basically it, however I'm 64 and passed my test in 1976 when as a learner you could then ride up to a 250cc and once passed could ride anything, but now as you say it's progressive. The thing is I passed my bike test all those years ago on a Honda TL175 and my bike licence is still valid so legally I could ride anything on the market, I wouldn't but I could. Which I'm guessing is what this guy has done, got the license years ago but is out of practice, or just a terrible rider, but at least he acknowledged his mistake.

That 'little' hill is very steep, on a shit surface and a bad left hander at the top. Its on the Hardknott Pass in the lake district. Your right that you can not stop on it ... its a tough part for m/cycles if you dont get it right. Its a lot worse than it looks.
