I got born again after my life fell apart because of sin. A sermon came on the radio telling me that if I needed a new life, God would give me one if I repented and received Jesus as my Lord and Savior. Well, I needed a new life so bad that I took God up on His offer. I turned from my sin and believed in Christ as my savior. I surrendered. True to His word He did give me a new Life. He delivered me out from a pit and set me up on the Rock- Jesus Christ. Its the best, most wize descision I ever made.
I'm recently converted. The more I study and surround myself with Christ's faithful, the more I am thankful for their godly leading of their families, their friendships, and their role in the church.
Praying for all these men...to be courageous to lead their families in the glory and honor of our Lord and Savior; to preach the gospel boldly and in love, to build up one another in Truth and faithfulness. Go out and be godly examples wherever God places you. Serve Him. Others will follow!!!
I love hymns and especially The Church's One Foundation! Oh to be a part of a congregation that sings hymns and songs that glorify GOD our heavenly Father and GOD the Son, our LORD and Savior! 🙌🏼🙏🏼❤
My dad's favourite song I always cry andsob when I hear it, I would pray that He would come to fetch me so I can sing this song 🎵 it's truth, not like this weak repetitive stuff we forced to sing at key.
Hearing the strong voices of these faithful men sing this beloved old hymn really, really, touched my heart and brought tears. May the Lord bless them all & may He bless us all... and I pray He takes us home in the Rapture soon.
Yes, learned this hymn as a little girl in Northern Ireland. Still remember the words, and sing it often to myself as it encourages me, especially now. Blessings to the beloved of Jesus.

They sang a special to open the conference. Then this hymn was the opening congregational. Steve Lawson came up to speak right after this song so they dismissed the choir prior to that.

The pastors come to be fortified, strengthened, and encouraged by the Word of God, and through prayer and fellowship with other believers around the world. It is very strange that a fellow believer as yourself could only speak a slanderous comment in response. These are men who love the Word, Love Christ, and love the brethren, and I don't appreciate them being slandered on my thread.

The problem is.. they can't attack sound doctrine, nor can they find character flaws. So they have to resort to slander. This man knows nothing of these shepherds motivations. But every indication is that we were all there to be encouraged and to grow in the grace and knowledge of Christ.
We read exortation to sing in the new testament in eph 5 and col 3. We see where David danced before the Lord. But it isn't mandated for worship. And Paul said to the Corinthians that public worship should be done in decency and in order. There may be a time for dancing if you see fit. But it is more and attitude of the heart than externals.

The church was much stronger when we sang traditional hymns.
Now we sing songs that “I” want to hear while holding a cup of coffee or a bottled water.
Some of the modern worship music is reptitious and dreary. Oh for more rousing music such as this that lifts to the heavenlies.
