Yes Sure brings tears to the eyes like no other.
We just sang this hymn in church this past Sunday. I had to fight back tears because it is so beautiful reminding us how much Jesus loves His church. Every time we sing it, I get choked up. Grateful to God for these amazing songs.

I believe the composer of this song should be in heaven singing heavenly songs at the moment. May God continues to protect the church in Nigeria and the world at large

This song makes me cry ever time I think of it or hear it! I just read the hymology of it today. What a story!! To God be the glory!! May we TRULY be the church united...nit with the world as it seems to be today more churches aren't holding to the Word if God for fear of not being politically correct. It's really sad. SO many will and are buying into it. Sin is sin is sin. The Bible is the INERRANT WORD OF GOD. You cannot be weak on doctrine and be a TRUE Christ follower. May God grant us eyes to see and ears to hear.
These powerful spirit inspired hyms are really needed in the church today. O Lord ,send your Spirit to pour out revival on the church today.

One of the most brilliant hymns ever written. I've been singing it in church from I was a child but I've only come to love and understand it a few months ago after we did a Sunday School on Eph. 4. I love Christ's Church. I'm happy to be part of it and Christ is her ONLY head. Hallelujah!

I have a "Hymns of Grace" hymnal. I look through it to find a new hymn to learn. Once found, I look it up on UA-cam for a sing along help. Your channel consistently has a great congregational version of it. What a blessing!

Such a wonderful reminder of who we are and that our Lord is with us every step until we are in our glorified body in His realm and with Him forever. I will have all the stanzas by heart as daily reminder.

I thought the tune of this was the same as "Lead On O King Eternal".
Christ, the chief cornerstone the bridegroom and the churches redeemer. This hymn has a unifying effect on the Church, the bride of Christ. Satan is doing his best to extinguish this hymn. He is failing and he knows it. Glory be to God on high
Correction: it should not say " wiith God three in one" for that would mean we have 3 God, God is one, thus say God one divine nature in 3 person.
