In 2021 I sat in a car with my best friend of 15 years who told me he was HIV positive after sharing an H needle with someone. I was devastated. And I definitely wasn't ready to have that conversation. So I played this song to change the subject because we were both fans of DOOM. We started rapping every word and I'll never forget what happened next. It got to the "Dont touch the mic like it's AIDS on it" and all the stuff about the needles/fiends. And then the awkward silence after he says "You played yourself like an accordion." At that moment I felt like stepping in traffic from how uncomfortable the moment was. I realized too late to catch it. But...my buddy kept rapping without missing a beat and we finished the whole song. Unfortunately passed away from overdose in March of 2022. I'm still hurt bad from it. But bro this is why DOOM in my top 5 forever. You can't be anything short of a spectacular MC to get a nigga to rap gleefully about his own demise bruh.
