I love that Bexar, such a great looking knife and love that sheath. You could say it has a wonderful “tactile” feel.

Man that "Bexar" is thin. I bought the "Rockwall" and love it. Reminded me for some reason, I need a quietcarry in my collection ? so I got a" Drift" recently thinnest knive Ive ever owned and man Do I enjoy carrying it ! Now it Vanex vs magnacut in my pocket.

Tactile please make a Rockwall in 3.5” blade length. That would be my grail knife.
I like my Bexar very much, it is definitely very well made & very sharp. My only complaint is the blade edge. One side is off, you can see high spot where it was unevenly sharpened & the other side is perfect. Now has a sm chip in the edge, not sure how but it's there, definitely a delicate knife but I suppose that's expected being so thin. Just warning, these chip very easily, at least mine did somehow. Still, I will probably try to snag one of these combo's the next time they drop some. Thanks for the review!

Just received a Rockwall in Magnacut, the card it came with says 64-65 HRC on the card. 5/10/2023 DOB. I wonder how accurate that is?
I adore my bexar, though it has one huge fault. The milling for the torx hole on the pivot screw is too deep. Be very careful adjusting, as the threaded portion is hanging on with very little metal. I had to return mine.

Very "gentlemanly"
I'm not into the knife side of the company. However, the pens are my kind of thing. I have a lefty zirconium bolt action that's an evening and weekend companion. My work carry rides in a CRK pouch separated by a chunk of foam. One is a zirc side click pen with timascus clip and the other is a .5mm zirc pencil with timascus clip. I think that for the price, tactile turn delivers a solid product. Others do things better but want more money. Tactile turn is top value but not top quality. That's currently my sweet spot.
That's awesome, and recently I've gotten more into pens and glad I have as I've used it so much since I started carrying one, I started with a titanium budget pen which was great but I'm loving this Tactile turn

And why should we not expect production companies to achieve (invest/improve) better heat treatments? Manufactures/designers expect the market to pay premiums for the "premium" steel ... well, it's only "premium" if it performs as such ... better heat treatments for harder HRC ranges.
I do expect better heat treatments I don't expect them to achieve 1 off custom heat treatment on production level knives, because they can't do one at a time and charge what they do, in order to keep costs down they have to do batches all at once. But I do think that we should expect optimal heat treatment for sure 100%

I doubt we're gonna see consistent 63 HRC out of production companies. I think we'll be lucky to get 60-62.

@@NeevesKnives yes it is. The ironic part is the Bexar County Sheriffs badges have bears on them but there’s no bears anywhere around San Antonio.
