I think Tactile is overhyped, noticed already on other videos that quality is not that impressive ... yet many people do not notice but at that pricepoint ... not acceptable regarding QC, there is a third option. QC has the instruction that these knives are ok to send out, within tolerance and only changed if customer complains ...
That’s definitely possible. In which case they need a complete overhaul of their outgoing QC requirements. I’d like to believe a smaller American company like them isn’t purposefully releasing products into the wild that have huge glaring issues, but it wouldn’t be the first time…
100% agreed, I really want to like this knife because the machining work on it is really nice and it’s such a thin slicey blade, but there’s no way I’m recommending it if I have to go through 3 to find one with good QC
I just got one and it feels like metal on metal when opening and shutting. Compared to an ohio river jack I have, the action is night and day.

Sad they're amazing looking. QC issues should be addressed before they even ship imo..
