  • Hi friends, today we make an incredibly easy & absolutely delicious dish usually served in the countryside of Iran; Mahi Kabob ( ماهی کباب ), or Grilled Fish. I prefer to use a whole fish but you can use filets if you prefer.
The rub is how I like it, but you can change things to your taste. Enjoy and see you soon!
    Ingredients List:
    - One Whole Trout (you can use any white fish and filet if you prefer)
    - Salt
    - Pepper
    - Chili Powder
    - Garlic Powder
    - Parsley
    - Red Pepper Flakes
    - Thyme
    - Olive Oil

I have just found your Chanel and I am so happy to have found you. I am from UK my husband is from Tehran. It will be really special if I can give him a tasty Iranian dinner. I will need to adapt the ingredients because he is a vegetarian. Mushroom and potatoes make good meat substitute in lots of recipes. Thank you.

Thanks :) as always not just a good watch of a good dish but also I miss my days as a child fishing the Karun river (and never catching more than one little 2 inch fish), hiking out to what is now called Shahid Abbaspour Dam where we Canadians (my mom and dad among them) worked in training the long term operators of the dam and eating among the wheat fields with the Bakhtiari when they migrated into Kushk to plant or to harvest. Boy that was so many decades ago now lol.
