I used fishing line with pieces of coat hanger taped to them . Then a long magnet to get them to the hatch. Put the line through the holes of the backing platevand tied nuts on the line then pulled the fishing line back out
This is a great video on a genius invention. Thanks for the walkthrough. I was seriously doubting the effectiveness of self-threading screws on the pulleys where all the strain is felt. Saw your Jersey tag, where you fishing?
Thanks Joe! I fish lakes mostly in central and North Jersey. No particular lake in general…. Lately, I’ve been fishing Harriman State Park in NY a lot.
In addition. I did not have any string so I used that green craft wire we use to make Christmas wreaths and it worked beautifully. Thanks again for the video.
You could still install the anchor trolley but won’t be able to add the backing plates so you won’t need the HD version, just the regular Anchor Trolley.
Good video, I’m going to attempt the backing plate but won’t be as easy on my vibe yellowfin 100. I’m going to put a dab of super glue on the backing plate nuts so they don’t pop out and also silicone the bolts going into the backing plate to make sure it’s water tight
Why wouldn't you just use the rigging screws in the 2 holes for the pully then tighten one and remove the other and put the screw in avoiding making the 3rd last hole and having to fill that hole?
Thanks for the directions. Got my anchor trolley installed today. Would've been a miserable job without the rigging bullets.
Glad it was helpful!
First I’ve heard of rigging bullets. Subscribed.
thank you, this was very helpful info! please post more!
Good video. Thanks for sharing 🤝🏼
Thanks buddy!
Good clean set up
Thanks Coop!

I like this idea
Great demo I plan on installing on my old town... where did you get your seat risers and keel guard. Thanks
Thanks! I made the keep guard and the risers are from Navarre Kayak Fishing.
Awesome video dude! I’ve been thinking about getting one. I want to wait till I see you testing yours. We need to get together and fish sometime!
Thanks brother! I’ll let you know what I think after a few uses..

Oh that’s smart!!
Thank you 👍
You bet!
Can you use rivets instead of the backing plate?
I would think so.
That's what I will be using. There are marine type rivets, specifically for kayaks. I used them in another yak with no leaks.
Where did you get the Noqua stickers on the side of your kayak?
Nocqua sent them to me with an order.
If there is no opening to the I side of my kayak would something like this be worth getting?

Good luck!! 👍
has the trolley worn through your registration stickers and decals? I haven't installed mine yet?
Never used it that much.
Forgot all about rigging bullets. Hobie out back, no rear hatch. and 100 bucks for theirs with compression plugs. Have the HD on my revo and love it.
Rigging bullets are awesome!!
What size rigging bullet did you need? 10-32?
Yes, I used the 10-32 YA rigging bullets.
have you gotten any leaks? you didnt use any silicone.
Nope
Wonder what size rigging bullets and screws where used to fit the back plate.... anybody?
#10-32

You could try that but I think it would be difficult. May work but not sure.
