- Here is the video going over how to set up controls for remote to play the games on your PC. I am using an xbox 360 remote, and changing the controls from a keyboard to my remote. You can just plug in a wired remote if you own one, or get a receiver to connect your wireless ones. Hope this helps, if you have any questions let me know!

@@thekaleb2976 tbh i hate one of the people that do this, you can clearly see a person is having trouble or needs help with something. yet you respond and "answer" or help them by writing joke replies, such as deleting system32, pressing alt + f4, etc.

the gamecube has wacky shoulder buttons where how hard you push determines how powerful your attack is which is used in mario sunshine and luigis mansion, so how do you set up the shoulder buttons to have the same input as the gamecube controllers?

any ideas for help?when I try and make controls for my xbox 360 remote everything works fine except I cant more my right stick to the right in the settings? I used 2 different remotes with the same outcome.
i did some experimenting around with the controls, so when i changed the controls, i tried saving them. after saving it i closed almost every single thing in dolphin. and then i just figured out that when i went back to the controls section, the controls were gone! they vanished, what is going on?

Works well, but it's changed with the new update. You go to the "GC Pad" on the top right (split into GC Pad and WiiMote from Controllers) and input what you stated in the video.
With some games you have to use wii controller and have to do the settings there how can I do that ?
may I know do they have advanced c stick settings because I play CVS2 gc-ism style

I know this video is kinda old but I just recently downloaded dolphin to play Smash Bros Melee, and and I’m using my wireless switch pro controller since I found out it can be used via Bluetooth, but I’m having trouble calibration the left control stick, it stress off more to the left than the right and it makes it kind of wonky. If by chance you know a solution give me a reply and let me know what I should do, it’d be much appreciated!
When I plug in 3 controllers, dolphin automatically distributes x/input/0 to two controllers which causes one controller to control 2 ingame players...Any idea to solve that? I use ps4 controllers and DS4Windows
My configuration for gamepad is done and working when testing in gc settings but when i load a game it dosent work.
I'm probably a bit late on this, but I don't know why my controller isn't appearing in the controller configuration menu. I'm using Dolphin 5.0, and I'm attempting to connect a Steelseries controller. Do you have any idea why it isn't working?
When I try to save my controller configuration. I save it. Then I click on the arrow and nothing pops up! I'm using the newest version. Any help?

Mapping the controller keys make absolutely no sense for me.
I'm using a ps2 designed usb controller for PC. When I click for example SQUARE, it says 'Axis Y+' as being the button. There are several cases alike with other buttons.
Also, the stick moving thing doesn't work. The dots dont move when I move the sticks, but when I try and bind for example the right stick, it says UP=I, DOWN=K, LEFT=J, RIGHT=L.
And what do I do with my R1/R2/L1/L2 triggers?

the problem for me is that i was configuring gamecube controls for a wii game
having issues with it working for Wii games. The sensor needed to maneuver menus doesn't seem to want to work with the controller. What's up ?

Why isn't it showing up in profiles reconfiguring the controls every time I close the program is a little inconvenient and I checked the emulator and the settings are there
the controller connects, device is recognised, but it wont register any inputs for what button i want to assign to anything.

Mic Settings don't work for Mario Party 7. Even Set Slot B as Microphone and B to B and Nothing worked... Got a fix for that????

my 8bitdo sn30 wont connect to the dophin emulator, I have it hooked up via USB. I go to configure and I cant get a response when I press any buttons.

Do you have any issues with trigger sensitivity? whenever I try to play supermario sunshine and try to use the trigger it reads it as a full trigger press rather than a half one if thats understandable. Like its either fully pressed or not at all.

when i play a game like zelda the wind waker you have to use the yellow joystick (gamecube controller) to zoom in with the telescope and i use my ps3 controller and the joystick i configured for that doesn't let me zoom in same happens on twilight princess so i cant get passed the opening thingy

So i have a problem, I have my controller plugged in and everything works fine, except when i go onto Dolphin and try and change buttons, i can change my buttons on DS4Windows but i cant on Dolphin because it just ignored everything i press on my controller, any ideas?

Does dophin recognize it as X input or D input?

D input always gave me trouble with Dolphin. Dolphin recognizes the existence if the controller but doesnt recognize its inputs

@@EpicGamersubscribe I don't know. Look up a way to turn D input to X input on whatever system you're using. Everything I can tell you is that D input is unacceptable and there HAS to be a way to translate it to X input
Updated Dolphin now Xinput/0/Gamepad won't show up as an input option. Only wireless controller and keyboard mouse it's so frustrating.

I've been trying with a Mutilaser PS2 controller but not working.
how come i cant configure the wii controllers or a logitech wireless controller. windows 10 finds the wii controllers via bluetooth but nothing shows on the configuration window on dolphin.
Go to configuration. There should be a section of Wiimotes. Click on the first one and choose Real Wiimote. Tick the "Continuous Scanning" and press 1+2 simultaneously on the Wiimote. It should work from there. You don't have to tick the box but what it does is that every time you get onto dolphin, pressing 1+2 simultaneously on the Wiimote should connect the Wiimote, no matter what.

Hi, great tutorial! Clear and well explained. I have a problem setting up my USB gamecube controller... when I try to set the control stick, it registers together with the D Pad buttons. For example, when I move the stick up, the D-pad "up" button lights up (and viceversa). Same is happening with the C stick and buttons A,B,X,Y. So when I play my game and move the sticks, the game thinks I'm pressing the buttons too. Very annoying! Do you have some idea on how to fix this? Thanks in advance.

But when I was trying to play Super Smash Bros. Melee, the screen Tilts when I select a playable character with the X button, even though the C-Stick does Tilt the screen, I don't know if this is a bug, but I'm having some issues playing my game when Dolphin Emulator Doesn't Work Right with my game controller, the emulator just ignores my Pushed Buttons on my game controller while I'm Trying to play my game though, so I don't know what to do right now, a little help is Appreciated!
