For all of those who get their mouse relocated at the center of the screen each time they stop moving it, go into the inputs and manually choose the "CURSOR" options, instead of the Axis ones, which are the ones that automatically sets the program when you auto-detect it.
Just make sure the bind names are just the same he has, you can see they all are named "Cursor" (-X, -Y, +X, +Y). Make sure you get those set up and not the "Axis" ones.
rick click the buttons to get to change to cursor inputs
@@cesaru3619 You can also manually type the bindings in the box, but be sure it's labeled exactly as in the video, including every character. I had to manually type it down as it wouldn't work by clicking at the options

I'm about to pull my hair out with this emulator. It's all set up and configured, but I can only get past setting up a save file before playing the actual game. After that, my keyboard doesn't respond whatsoever. No clue what I'm doing wrong.
Edit: I think I found the solution. As long as the Start command isn't delete or enter, the keyboard should function.

I found that it works a lot better to configure it so that you have to be preassign a button for it to count as a swing, then you dont have to go and change it all the time.

The All devices option does not appear on my emulator. I have 4.0 and 5.0 and none have it. also it cannot just go to mouse and keyboard, it either goes to one or goes to the other,

You just press default, it should give back the cursor stuff just don’t change the cursor stuff when you click default, just change everything else that is good for you but not the cursor

I'm using Dolphin 5.0, and I am literally incapable of configuring my wiimote controls.
I can middle click and clear the current key, but left-clicking doesn't actually let me change anything. It simply makes that box flash blue and sometimes read [waiting] before it goes back to whatever it was before the left click, regardless of what I press or how much I press it. Even the keys that dolphin already has assigned don't do anything in the game once it's downloaded.

How do you get Dolphin to recognize your mouse axis is moving to set the the controls for swinging? I cannot get Dolphin to see it working. (and no, I'm NOT joining a discord server)
When using the keyboard for swinging in tennis its helpful to imagine how you would do it with a real wii remote and press the corresponding buttons.
To hide the Mouse cursor, just go Config,- then go INTERFACE, and look down saids "Always Hide Mouse Cursor" select that and

I've got a weird issue where I can't input axisY/X into the keybind with my mouse and therefore cursor X/Y doesn't work either even when I type it in. On going to the Wii pause menu, I just see my mouse cursor rather than the traditional Wii one. Any ideas? (It's probably a really simple fix and I'm just being a potato xD)

Hi, I hope you see this comment and I’m hoping that you can help me with this. I’m playing Harvest Moon Tree of Tranquility & Animal Parade. I have an issue with the swing motion control. The instruction on the game says I just have to press A button, release A and swing the wiimote. However, I’m only using my keyboard for the game. I configured the A button to be used for my left click on my mouse. I just have no idea how to configure the swing motion. yes, you can right click the controls for cstick and for up choose Y- for down choose Y+ Left X- Right X+ Its not perfect but it works

so I got a question, I'm trying to play play Pokepark and I'm used to WASD controls but pikachu isn't moving the correct direction as I've set it up W(Up) A(Left) S(Down) D(Right) instead pikachu seems to have been hit by confusion because he thinks W(Left) A(Down) S(Right) and D(Up) help ;-;
its because the controller is meant to be played on its left, so just bind W to A , A to S , S to D , D to W. Im pretty sure that would make it work like wasd but I might be wrong as i am having trouble visualising it, to be honest.

@@rebranded1248 Nope, ended up binding it to keypresses. It triangulates the sensitivity of movement, but it was enough to work on a playable state in my game.

@@felis_moon I have a question. I just recorded a playthrough of Mad Dog Mcree on the Dolphin Wii emulator. However I used the Windows Screen recorder to capture it. My problem is the video playback has audio echo. I had to turn the wii mote speakers up and enable the speaker data option, to be able to hear the gunshot and reload sound effects within the game. Do you know of a fix in Dolphin settings so gameplay audio does not have the audio echo during captured video playback?
@@felis_moon I just tested Nvidia Geforce Experience shadowplay recorder. It does not have the awful audio echo during captured video playback of Wii emulated mote speaker gameplay. So I will just have to do another playthrough Yeahhhhh!!!

this doesn't work. if you calibrate the swing, it's the same motions as the pointer setup. So, you can't move the cursor in a game.

Yes but the missing information is where is the info for the in game controls?. like in twilight princess for example how do you find out which key the dolphin team assigned to the in game menu, or pause ect. non of that is here?. does each game have it's own sub hack for controls or what?. nobody addresses this anywhere!. what am i missing?. I thought this was gonna help me with controlling the point properly. Getting past the file name screen in skyward sword is a NIGHTMARE. I move the mouse to the opposite side of my screen, pointer barely moves at all.
this is actually because the skyward sword file select screen actually mostly relies on the wii motion+ gyroscope, not the pointer.
idk if you ever solved this but you need to turn up the total yaw and pitch in the motion simulation tab. Personally i set both to 35

I'm gonna tell you how I've done it, you right click and you type for:
- Up: Cursor Y-
- Down: Cursor Y+
- Left: Cursor X-
- Right: Cursor X+

i'm not sure if my issue is with my rom or the emulator, but for some reason i legit can't get past the file select screen. i'm trying to play skyward sword for reference, if that's of any use. the cursor works just fine before i get to the file select screen. like, it opens up calibrating the wii motion plus and i can move my mouse around with that just fine, but i cant type a name whenever i select a file because it confines me to a small rectangle as soon as the keyboard comes up. i can click on a few letters within that rectangle, but even if my actual cursor is at the corner of the screen, i cant do anything since the wii cursor is still in that box. once again, the cursor works fine outside of this and i have default calibration settings so i dont know whether its the rom or the emulator. any idea what this might be?

I Fixed it, Turns out, I Had to remove "Click 0" from my "open" hotkey setting.
I did everything you said but still doesn't work for the GameCube controller.

I would like to use the keyboard as IR POINTER because I would like to play multiplayer (so everybody cannot use the mouse). But with the keyboard, everything happens almost exactly as with the Axis (Mouse). Is he is there a way to easily control the IR POINTER with the keyboard?

I'm new with dolphin but this emulator seems to be the greatest shit ever in terms of controllers configurations, even for a such a simple thing like use the vibrations in gamepad needs to google a how to tutorial because who the hell can imagine all that stupid things that you must do (select lef motor then operator OR then right motor) it's ridiculous!!!
Also trying to configure my logitech driving force wheel and took me some time... other emus are so easy to configure... i can't even think what in the hells deves where thinking with all this shit instead of having some default profiles that works just fine... everything needs to be configured and most times you can't do it without reading or watching tutos...
I just wanted to play timesplitters 2 in HD and mouse control!! oh man!! so disapointed... going back to duckstation...playieng MediEvil... such a lovely emulator duckstation is!! Hope they made duckstation 2 and then play ps2 isos of timesplitters.... after all gamecube doesn't have very good games... i have tried luigis's mansion and may be funny and geist but is very buggy.... also have rally championship and control is very awful with stering wheel and vibratons does'nt feel like force fedback, just vibrations.... shit, excuse me gamecube lovers, i gived a try on dolphin but just i can't take it
