You just added one of the most talented groups ever assembled. I met TOTO back stage and shook both hands with Steve Lukather just before they went on stage and blew the house down. Considered as One Of The Top Five Best Guitarist by Metal Magazine. This is another legendary name in your growing Classic Playlist.
These guys were the studio band for everybody from Sonny and Cher to The Pointer Sisters. I think at least half the albums I had back in the 1970's credited one or more of these guys as musicians.
Jeff Pacaro was the drummer that assembled the group and, he drummed on many other artists songs as did Luke! My favorite group of all time ( studio musicians) great sound!
Toto is an American rock band formed in 1977 in Los Angeles, California. Toto combines elements of pop, rock, soul, funk, progressive rock, hard rock, R&B, blues, and jazz. The Latin words "in toto" translated to "all-encompassing". Having released 14 studio albums and sold over 40 million records worldwide, the group has received several Grammy Awards and was inducted into the Musicians Hall of Fame and Museum in 2009... David Paich (keyboards, vocals) and Jeff Porcaro (drums) David Hungate (bass), Steve Lukather (guitar), Steve Porcaro (keyboards, vocals), and Bobby Kimball (vocals)
Toto is one of the many great groups with super-musicianship and creativity that influenced my musical taste throughout my teens and 20s!!!
45 years 🎂 Written by David Paich. He is on piano 🎹. Sung by Bobby Kimball. Steve Lukather on lead guitar 🎸 Great song 👍 RIP Jeff Porcaro, drums 🥁
Members of Toto performed with Chicago, Michael McDonald and the late Michael Jackson, RIP, in addition to Toto in 1 year, back in 1982! 🤯
Members of Toto also played with the late Donna Summer, RIP, Alice Cooper, The Tubes and other musicians.

Steve Lukather: One of the greatest guitar players, and studio musicians! "I flipped the first time I heard myself on the radio. My mom called me up and said, "Turn on KLOS." It was the song "Hold the Line," and I started running around the house in my underwear, screaming, "I'm on the radio!" My wife was cracking up. It was just a thrill." (Steve Lukather, Guitar Player magazine, April 1984)
I love that man. 😂
extremely underrated guitarist. You may not know him, but I guarentee you have heard his playing.
Absolutely one of the best songs of that decade. And it's stood the test of time.
Dude, congratulations on discovering Toto. And thanks for reacting.
A couple of my favorite Toto songs, that can still make me weepy after all these years, are "I Won't Hold You Back" and "I'll Be Over You"🎶😢 Like you said, their songs "had a great everything!" Terrific reaction👏🔥😊
Both great songs
Steve Lukather, Jeff Porcaro, on drums, two of the best in the business, also David Paich on keys one of the best...check out the catalog.
Another banger by Toto you should check out is Rosanna.
Soooooooo takes me back. Feel old. Miss my younger life in 70's & 80's. About to cry😩
Love this song!! Great reaction!! 🎵🎼🎶🥁🎤🎸🎙🎹🔥🤘🤘🤘💜
BTW.... Put this band behind BOZ Scaggs.... You get "Silk Degrees"
Toto "Africa".
I tried to call Rosanna in Africa but she told me to hold the line.
Best most talented band ever
TOTO like the dog bro.
jmboy tv- another toto groove song - Georgy porgy.- it's awesome. thanks be safe peace . johnnyboy
❤
its pronounced 'Toe Toe" like the Toes on your feet
These guys played on literally hundreds of records before and even after they formed Toto. In fact, they formed Toto after running into each other so many times at sessions and deciding they should start their own band. Plus, several of the guys all grew up together and went to the same high school in Van Nuys.
Of all the records they played on outside of Toto, we love their work with Steely Dan, Boz Scaggs, and Michael Jackson.
Their work on Thriller was just astounding. And what else can you say about Steely Dan and Boz Scaggs, two more of the finest ever.
Hoooo TOTO . ...Africa ...... Rossana ...................................
TOTO never did a bad song.... "Georgy Porgy".... cool tune
U gotta do war pigs by Black Sabbath and also don’t do the music video as its too distracting from the instrumentation
One of the best collections of musical Talent ever put together in Rock
Say.. Toe Toe, or like the dog name in Wiz Of Oz, but has nothing to do with the dog
JM.... WOW... You really MUST SEE this performance. TOTO - Simon Phillips....There are few Drummers that can match what you'll see here.Toto - Hydra/Simon Solo (Live in Paris 2007)

Great song, great band!
Nice channel my Man!
Keep up the great reactions.
Lol. JMBoy T V. It is pronounced Toe Toe. Just like the dog ToTo in Wizard of Oz. You should do a reaction to their song Africa.
Off topic…you have smiling eyes lol😂❤
I think it is always more entertaining and special to see you add another name to your Playlist you've never heard before. "Complete"... Yep, they got it all covered very well. 150
I want to say once again.... TOO COOL. The first suggestion of mine you reacted to was Chambers Bros - "Time Has Come Today" was Number 41 on Jan 14th. 562 subscribers on that day. 300 songs later and you'll hit 7,000 soon... I just smile, again.
Remember Dorothy’s dog’s name in the Wizard of OZ? I used to wonder how this would sound as slower groove a remix as a slow groove. Just can’t think of the best artist to make it their own hit
Yes - "I've Seen All Good People"
The Rolling Stones - (I Can't Get No) "Satisfaction"
JM... Steven Tyler said he wants to Kick you up side your head (metaphorically speaking) with this...... Aerosmith - Train Kept a Rollin'

Try "This is it" by Kenny Loggins....very smooth!
It's Toto, like Dorothy's dog Toto in the Wizard of Oz
When is Love ever on time
This is the band that played on Silk Degrees with Boz Scaggs.
"Hold The Line"
It's not in the way that you hold me
It's not in the way you say you care
It's not in the way you've been treating my friends
It's not in the way that you'll stay till the end
It's not in the way you look or the things that you say that you do
Hold the line
Love isn't always on time
Whoa oh oh
Hold the line
Love isn't always on time
Whoa oh oh
It's not in the words that you told me
It's not in the way you say you're mine
It's not in the way that you came back to me
It's not in the way that your love set me free
It's not in the way you look or the things that you say that you do
Hold the line
Love isn't always on time
Whoa oh oh
Hold the line
Love isn't always on time
Whoa oh oh
It's not in the words that you told me
It's not in the way you say you're mine, oooh
It's not in the way that you came back to me
It's not in the way that your love set me free
It's not in the way you look or the things that you say that you do
Hold the line
Love isn't always on time
Whoa oh oh
Hold the line
Love isn't always on time
(Love isn't always on time)
Hold the line
Love isn't always on time
(Love isn't always, love isn't always on time)
Hold the line
Love isn't always on time
Love isn't always on time
Love isn't always on time
Love isn't always on time
Whoa oh oh
❤❤❤❤❤real music welcome to the 80s!!!!!!!!
Absolutely love Toto, all of their songs and music
Do Mississippi Queen !! I guarantee you'll love it if you liked this!!!
If you like this song, then you should check these other real classics; "Your Love" by The Outfield, "Reelin' in the Years" and "Peg" by Steely Dan and "Lido Shuffle" and "Lowdown" by Boz Scaggs. There are sooooooo many great classic songs out there. An interesting take on the classics is the Lexington Lab Band. They are a bunch of musicians from Lexington Kentucky that do extremely professional covers, where the band members and vocalists get the song to work on at home before the recording of the videos to get things perfect. And they usually do the videos in one take. You should check out their channel. I think it's great that you are commemorating the classics of rock.
The Toto IV album is one of the best ever released!
Bobby Kimball on vocals.....AMAZING!
Toto was always 😊great!!! Great reaction!
Another good song with Line in the title is Let Go The Line by Max Webster ( album version ). Also check out Fly at Night by Chilliwack and Say Hello by April Wine
Also "Front line" by Stevie Wonder is a great, though not much known, song!
@@lucabraga3471 Was never a big fan of Stevie but I checked that one out and it was pretty cool. I could see how it may have influenced Lenny Kravitz. Speaking of which do you think our fine young reactor would like Are You Going My Way or Stand By My Woman ?
@@reallymysterious4520 Sorry I don't know many Lenny's songs, but I just listened to the two songs you said; I knew only the first, and I have to say they're both good songs, that deserve a reaction from our mutual (young, lucky guy!) friend!
@@lucabraga3471 I'm glad you liked them !
Two of the guys used to be in band Kansas, they played in concert one time playing Dust in the wind, I jumped up and yelled in the Mic, "you're not in Kansas anymore Toto!"
Fkn BANGER🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟
