The 100 series, especially the 125A are my favorite small ships, but the price of them both in Game and in dollars is surreal, it ends up being more worthwhile to go straight for the 300 series, I ended up abandoning the idea of buying a 125A in favor of the C8R as a small ship, I intend to have a 325A as an Origin ship

I like the 100i for one reason. When your catapillar glitches once landed and you need something small to get you up to the cat's elevator, this is small enough to do it ;)
I agree with you, it's too expensive for starters and doesn't offer enough features. But it's a great puddle jumper and great for delivery missions as it has no entry animation, no doors inside and it's very fast. It's definitely worth buying as a second ship, but not as a starter.
This is one of the few entry level ships that can grow with you. It’s a perfect ship for box missions. Later as your fleet grows, this is a great scout ship. It has unlimited planet side fuel and can land just about anywhere. Other starter ships you will leave behind and never use them again. So while it might not be a good starter, in the long run this ship is better. In terms of HP, it’s very hard to hit and it’s very fast.
This was my wife’s first ship and she only upgraded to a 125a after some time. You’re paying for a lot of vibe and it still needs a rework, at least with the prison bed lol. She just does not like the ladder on the 300 series But the weak hp and shield combo along with being extremely fast is how all of the other interceptors need to be balanced. As of now the Titan and bucc are all plus and pretty much no downside

Yeah in this case the hp pool only really has 3 spots, body, and two wings. The 100i ( and equally so the 300 series) fall apart under fire. 100i was my first, got it at $45 back in 3.16 and it was awesome but limited. Good jump range, the fuel scoop system allowed to near infinite range on non qt flight, spawnable at small vehicle pads
I like the looks of the ship, though it's health pool is really low or at least seems really low when compared to other ships! thnx for the video and heads up!
I used it as a courier ship for a while, and the unlimited hydrogen fuel and speed really comes in handy. The interior is shockingly basic for an Origin ship though, and the ship in general lacks the functionality and stats to make it a viable starter at that price point imo.
It's a pretty average ship, sure it looks nice and it's VERY fast, but that's about it. Your paying for the Origin badge. If you love origin ships then go for it and enjoy. If it was made by Drake it would probably be half the price. lol.
I think youvastly undervalue the 100 series. The 125a is one of the best starter+ ships I've ever flown. Yes it's overpriced but everything in this game is insanely overpriced so I'm not gonna hold it against it.
As I mention in my reviews, in the end it’s all about personal taste on what you enjoy as the buyer/owner of said ship. Albeit stats could and usually does play a big part on how much joy it can truly bring.
Either you have VAT tax or something applied. Or based on exchange rate. I live in the US and when I was in thr UK for travel I had to log in via my network, not wifi otherwise it was going to charge me VAT which easily added 20% to the price on top of everything else
Ah yes, tge expensive coffin. I genuinely hate this ship, it looks like a ballarina slipper 😂 plus, the horrible Origin logo on the wing is just 🤢 looks like a bad tattoo or something.
Great video. I'm not impressed with look of origin ships especially this smaller ones. Looks like planes, nothing interesting. Aurora, looks at least like something sci-fi, cutter have this mad-max vibe, even Mustang looks more interesting and original than 100 i.

The original design had the bed retract. Maybe they’ll put this back in on the gold edition.

As a beginner I didn't realize this ship had such an advantage on pvp with its sleek design.
The 135c is actually one of my favorite smuggling ships. Quick in and out, great range, make an easy 80k+ an hour.

100i in same category as 350R and Khartu-al. Expensive eye candy.

I use mine for a secondary. It can spoun on small pad at out post. Oh also took out msr woth it. Your right on price.❤
