      @@InfiniteSith136 the ve pump is what was in the first gens. Im not confusing anything with a vp44 the ve is just a less powerful than a p pump but infinitly more tunable for drivability. They have a timing sweep and everything a p pump is locked out timing

    Deliciously smelling and heavily addicted diesel gas. And as long as that delicious smoke smells this good, I don't give a damn about the amount of poison. On the contrary: there should be a lot more of those beautiful clouds of smoke coming out.

    Whats your idle rpm set at? Something almost sounds off because my second gen (same except for intercooled with p pump) never sounded like when I started her in -30°c. Only time it sounded like that is when the fuel/water separator cracked.

  • @jacobpritchard812
    @jacobpritchard812 8 років тому +2

    It would start a lot better if It had new injectors part of the reason it's running like crap and smoking so much is because of bad injectors I didn't realize my truck had bad injectors until I added more fuel to it and it has a lopey idle like that and has a white smoky haze at idle

    • @onthefritzoutdoors
      @onthefritzoutdoors  8 років тому +1

    • @jacobpritchard812
      @jacobpritchard812 8 років тому +2

      Fritz Klopp I had a benched injection pump built by Scheid diesel and installed it and ran stock injectors and that really caused it to run bad because I'm pushing a lot more fuel than before and the pressure in the pump is much higher then before so it runs like shit but what injectors did you put in it I'm going with 6x11 which is basically the same thing as marine 370s except 6 hole and run much cleaner and make a little more power

    • @onthefritzoutdoors
      @onthefritzoutdoors  8 років тому +1

      I'm running pod injectors now. in the video I was running stock injectors for non intercooler (my truck is a 89). I snapped a camshaft and bent a bunch of valves and replaced my head with a 7mm hole injector head. old head was the 9mm injectors. it has about the same performance now. in the video my pump was weak. I rebuilt the pump myself, but can't get it calibrated anywhere. but it is running good with the pod's injectors
