Back in the 70's I used to get a magazine called Organic Gardening. I expect it is still on the market. But they had articles on how to use plants that did not have pest/diseases. They instructed to take pieces of the plant and put them in the blender with water, and strain the liquid. They said to dilute it out further with more water, perhaps 1 part plant to 5 parts water or even more. Measurements escape me now. But they said to spray or sprinkle this solution onto your plants. Some plants I remember are marigold, onions, garlic, mint, oregano, chili peppers and others. I have noticed that most of the weeds in my yard are pest free. I also have a Norfolk Pine that might be good for this. I remember one formula that I tried. It was with Ivory soap mixed with garlic.
