- BLAST OFF! Zach builds a new robot, making the Builder Blog Build Again. #battlebots #robotics #blog
This video shows the step by step process detailing how Zach designs and builds new robots for Bot Bash Parties! This robot is under a pound, 4 wheel drive, and a flipper. It will be making it's debut at SXSW Convention in Austin this week as part of the Battlebots exhibit brought to you by The United States Army!
Would you like to fight robots yourself? Bot Bash Party brings the robot fighting directly to you! We do parties and corporate events for ages 8 and up. Located in Lafayette, CA, Bot Bash can provide our services from the Northern Sacramento region down to San Jose. For corporate events outside of state that need multiple arenas, please contact us with further details and we can accommodate.

BLAST OFF!!!!!!
Call it T-Minus
I recognise that rocket design. That's not quite Starship, it's Starflip!
Deathstrike, it looks like the Warhammer model of the same name. An armore vehicle carrying an absolutely behemoth missile lol
heres alot of suggesttions for name. Project Boom! , Flippen Annoying, Skorpion, Roof shot, Projwct Roof Shot, Blast-Away, Oh Flip!, Sky High, or maybe Flippen Skorpios, Apollo-13
I'll echo what a couple of people have already said, and vote for "Lift Off!" (maybe with the exclamation point?) for the bot name.
LAUNCH PAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Another vote for Blastoff!
name it “BLAST OFF” for the rocket design and flipping
I think you should call it " Orbit " . As its job is to send everyone into space !
ROCKET LAUNCHER!!!
Rock-It
I love your videos! I always learn so much!! 🙂 Blast Off is the way to go for the name.
To infinity and beyond
I think that a cool name could be Apollo in reference to the moon landing mission, and it's also the name of a greek god and the boxing champion in the movie Rocky of course.
This was very interesting to watch you work on this smaller bot. Its really not far off of an electric rc car inside. Back in 1989 I used race RC-10's on sanctioned offroad tracks in south Florida. Still have a 30 year old modified Traxxas on the shelf. I never realized the smaller bots were so simple. Too bad you are on the west coast. I'd love to visit your shop one day as a courious old fart that's been watching battlebots a long time. I'm south of Boston. Been a fan and following for quite a while now. Keep up the good work.
Boooooost - because when it launches it’s just fun to say! 😊
I always preferred tank style controller. 😊
Nice Rocket.Zach....that's. .Litte...
I will call it LIFTOFF!
