I've read your description. That's some exceptional editing! Most of which I didn't even notice. I recently heard of Warhammer from a Henry Cavill interview as well and thought of looking into it. Too bad this series is so hard to get though.
Oh, thank you! This was definitely a labor of love. It took a little over 60 hours to make and it's still not perfect. Like the sound crackle @ 4:30. A simple fade out would've fixed it but I was too focused on getting the audio timing right in the elevator scene that I completely forgot or didn't hear it. I recently saw a compilation of Cavill interviews in which he mentions Warhammer and there're quite a few surprisingly. Anyway, thanks for watching!
Yes :) I grew up watching Stallone movies and I have a Rocky tribute around here somewhere. But in my opinion, there's no question that Karl Urban was the better Judge Dredd. He nailed that role. It's one of those films from recent decades that I really wish had a sequel or even a franchise. I tend to keep revisiting the things I love, whether they're books, movies, games or music. And for me, at least, this channel is like a monument to those things, a way of ensuring they’re not forgotten. Take care Saint!
Ok badass video!! For sure. Two things is that Karl Urban that says “judgement time” in the Dredd voice???? Are we not gonna recognize that I think his name is Rafael ? The skull helmet. Is the most badass!?!?!!! Here.
It is! (and 4:55 is actually a Shadow Priest from the Mortal Kombat Konquest series.) Urban totally nailed that role as Dredd, and it baffles me why they never pursued a sequel or franchise with him in the lead. As much as I like Stallone & Max von Sydow there's no question who's the better Dredd in my opinion. More to the point, someone commented on my other Warhammer clip: ''I often catch myself judging the quality of a series by how compelling the supporting actors and roles are. In that sense, Angels of Death nailed it I think. Ship Mistress Solken & Chaplain Rafael really carved out their own place in the story.'' - I think that's very true. Best of luck to you!
No, I'm sorry. I did upload a Warhammer playlist ua-cam.com/video/OQKduKMBaVY/v-deo.html - but ultimately decided not to add the Angels of Death Soundtrack. Now in hindsight, I probably should've included it. The reason I didn't back then was because some of the tracks, like Tribal, have a lot in common (in my view) with the music from Bear Mccreary and the Battlestar Galactica series. Though a very short version of blood debt is shared on the official Warhammer UA-cam channel, it is however not the soundtrack version. I will see what I can do!
@@HiddenbyLeaves thanks man, i like the og debt of blood but your version is something else, just one whole track of the video, just the music would be sweet

I was wondering something about the sounds of their Bolters. Its a mix of Space Marine 2's (probably provided by Saber Interactive) and the Dawn of War 2 sounds.
FOR OUR UNDYING LORD! FOR THE EMPEROR! Duty shall never for any who give thier lives for Him. Even in death it shall not end. Also Tiro: This gun shall tire and break before I do my Captain.
My gripe is that, Space Marines do not fire blindly and as scene in Astartes ( here on youtube ) , Bolter rounds are devastating to Soft Targets and still oppressive to hard armoured targets with sustained fire. Counting the Bolter Fire vs the targets in this video and the time, leads to a heretical display. The Power Sword however..... Cut like a hot Razor through butter and I loved that a lot.

Does anyone know how long it took (whoever originally made this) to animate and overall create this thing? Sound, animation, everything is so fucking sick, so if anyone has any info on how long it took, let me know
This took a week, which, considering it's relatively short run time is considerably more than most of my other clips of this length. I imagine a professional would have a set of basic techniques they use in most of their work, customizing certain sections based on personal preference. However, as I am not a professional, I constantly strive to outdo myself, experimenting with different methods most of the time and trying to absorb as much of the process as possible. I don’t have a set system or general rule book, which I imagine a professional would. As a consequence, my editing process takes much longer. This is also why I believe my clips are a very personal and honest expression as every second is deliberately chosen, placed and often alternatively influenced. I often wonder if it's possible to replicate the feelings one experiences while watching something and I'm very much leaning towards the assumption that it's very difficult, if not impossible. To me, editing is like taking small puzzle pieces from an overall whole and trying to place them in an order that can never be predetermined-it only comes to you as you go along. Therefore, I think it cannot be easily replicated. You can only try to honor the original works and perhaps enhance them in a way that is personal, though this vision may not always align with everyone’s preferences. WarhammerTV is a subscription-based service, and I imagine the time it takes them to create a series like this is very extensive. It undoubtedly requires an absolute, near-instinctive understanding of the Warhammer Universe and what it portrays. This clip was made possible only by giants in their field-not just professionals, but true masters-people who live and breathe what they do and give themselves wholly, whether in the act of creation or in whatever else they deem worthy of pursuit. In any case, I hope this answers your question somewhat. Thank you for commenting!
I can't quite remember, I really need to re-watch it again and make another clip. I think maybe a skull? (like the Terminator 2 intro? Just guessing here.) I do recall initially muting that stomping sound. Ironically, it was near the clip’s completion that I began to second-guess that decision and ultimately decided it needed to be included after all. Looking back, the entire elevator scene is such an iconic Warhammer moment; I’m not sure what I was thinking. Thanks for watching!

@@jackripper4419 - The full soundtrack can be found here: ua-cam.com/video/4T5aXVhuGhk/v-deo.html
And just Blood Debt here: ua-cam.com/video/GoLmWYy3M_4/v-deo.html
@@HiddenbyLeaves Thanks alot man, i appreciate you do that for me 👍
Masterpiece!
I was wondering something about the sounds of their Bolters. Its a mix of Space Marine 2's (probably provided by Saber Interactive) and the Dawn of War 2 sounds.
Nice to see a deathwing in the group
I am evangelical warrior may god be with me❤❤❤❤
I watch this everyday
2:57. IS THIS ON THE WALLS. THE CHANEL SHOW.
FOR OUR UNDYING LORD! FOR THE EMPEROR!
Duty shall never for any who give thier lives for Him. Even in death it shall not end.
Also Tiro: This gun shall tire and break before I do my Captain.
I see my self like a chaplain😂
My gripe is that, Space Marines do not fire blindly and as scene in Astartes ( here on youtube ) , Bolter rounds are devastating to Soft Targets and still oppressive to hard armoured targets with sustained fire. Counting the Bolter Fire vs the targets in this video and the time, leads to a heretical display.
The Power Sword however..... Cut like a hot Razor through butter and I loved that a lot.
They didnt fire blindly though
All hail, the god emperor of mankind!!

La entrada de raphael es tan épica 😮
What does the marine with the knife on his left shoulder step on?
I can't quite remember, I really need to re-watch it again and make another clip. I think maybe a skull? (like the Terminator 2 intro? Just guessing here.)
I do recall initially muting that stomping sound. Ironically, it was near the clip’s completion that I began to second-guess that decision and ultimately decided it needed to be included after all. Looking back, the entire elevator scene is such an iconic Warhammer moment; I’m not sure what I was thinking. Thanks for watching!
