Great review Love!! Love starting my day with a little luxury! Great review! Happy Wednesday love!! This sounds pretty good!! xoxoxo!!
As usual, really informative. I just bought and tried the TF Cushion and love it ! I m waiting for the eyeshadows quad.. La Mer can wait ! Thank 😍
Thanks for a great informative review , I use the soft fluid foundation and was considering the new one , I think I’ll stick to what I have ...you’re always on point ... great review as always xx
Just what I needed today! Thanks so much, this video was great!
Perfect video as always! Haven’t tried any La Mer product, except cream (not mine, just tried it) and it’s too oily for me. But so would love to try that foundation! 😍😍😍
Thank you so much for doing this video . I much appreciate how hard you work in your videos .
Thank you!
I love your Foundation reviews. 💕
Love the black nail polish and thank you for the information.🌹
Cle de peau cushion OR la mer cushion? Which one would you prefer for someone with dry skin and needs the radiance and luminosity
Your skin is amazing! Thanks for the fantastic review..
Very pretty! Thank you for reviewing this.
I usually have problems with cushion foundations on my very dry skin. They seem to grab a bit more on dry spots, but it may still be worth a try. Thanks for the great review!
I'm loving the cushion (combo skin type) I do love a good glow though! Your review is spot on!! I feel like it will last as you only need to tap the cushion to get a lot of product! XO
This foundation looks really nice on you, but the thing is, I don't remember any foundation not looking good on your skin so it's hard to tell - LOL! I've had a problem recently with foundations all looking too dry on me; so I have been using moisturizing masks and the creme de la mer hoping it will add enough moisture to my skin. Your skin always looks so nice and healthy! Thanks for the review! Take care, Ginny 😘😘😘
I’m so excited! I can’t wait to hear your thoughts.
I will pass on this- but I do love La Mer as a brand. The liquid foundation is amazing and I love the Reparative Tint for light coverage days. I tried their skincare after hearing how it helped your eczema, Michele. Now I’m hooked on the original cream, the soft cream, the concentrate and the oil exfoliator. My skin has never looked better 💗
Just purchased the Tom Ford cushion makeup spf 42 from BonBon Cosmetics in Hong Kong. I am really curious to see how this stacks up to the La Mer, because I am loving the La Mer cushion foundation. I hope it comes out here soon, I'd love a review from you on this Tom Ford one. Not alot of colors. I bought Fawn, because the Bisque was my summer color, and the next one down from that is Fawn. Im leaving for Toronto this weekend so I'm also hoping to see it there in person if I can find it.
Love your review on this La Mer one, thank you very much! ♥️ I bought Petal and Warm Ivory in La Mer, I don’t know which one I will keep yet......
Thank you for your review dear Michele. It was informative and reliable. I will pass on this foundation as I didn’t like it when I tried it in store. I love the soft fluid foundation though. I try to match my foundation with the décolletage (note that your skin does never look like your face as there is a shadow too. You never want to match your neck, it doesn’t make any sense - at least to me). A big kiss to you😘
I would love to hear your thoughts on luxury K-beauty brands, especially the Amore Pacific and Sulwhasoo cushion foundations.
a very late happy birthday to u. I was away on business trip for the last two months. no time for UA-cam. just want to let u know that I really think u r doing sth well on ur skin as u look radiant and healthy, a younger looking really. also congrats on ur 20k subs. I do appreciate ur work and feel happy for u thinking about how I was the first 100 subs and now look at what u've achieved.
Thank you so much!
I'm normal combo but I heard the compact type foundation is used up faster? I may get a sample as I'm happy they do a 'pink' tone . I used to love a clinique foundation that gave me a dewy look, of course, discontinued. Great video as usual 🎀
Please review the Valmont perfecting powder cream. Thank you 🙏
This wasn't even on my radar and guess what, now I want it even though I am oily!!! Aghhhhh!!! xoxo
Justine Louise it so beautiful even if you are oily
Thank you Michele for another great video. I think that I will stick to the La Mer Liquid foundation and my favorite Cle de Peau the foundation. I also love the Chanel Sheer Healthy glow moisturizing tint with spf.
Thank you! I'm getting this! :)
Thank you for your review of la mer luminous! I just got same neutral ivory 12. May I ask which color are you using for the soft fluid foundation?
Hi! I’ve watched three of your videos and you are fantastic! I’ve subscribed to your channel now. My skin tone is similar to yours in that I use La Mer 12 Natural in the fluid foundation. I am debating which shade of the pressed powder to use and I see you mentioned it in your video also. Which shade do you prefer and why? I am deciding between Light and Translucent.
Thank you again. Your videos are fantastic and you are one beautiful lady.
Thank you so much! I have not tried the Translucent powder, but I went with the Light b/c the Translucent seemed to have some pink in it.
Still pouting that they discontinued the skintint. My skin loved that!
I’ve unsubscribed to so many beauty people recently because I’m not interested in drugstore and UD/ Tarte type makeup, I’m also sick of people using a product incorrectly on these channels. So you’re one of the only ones left I watch, and I love your channel, but I do think the videos could be more useful with less bright lights and perhaps less yellow in the lighting. Not critical/ negative, just commentary
Out of the three luxury foundations la mer Ken do gen and la prairie which one do you consider the most dewy?
I'm an odd one...I love this! I grabbed it when I was in Rome back in June and have used it every single day-Last week it arrived in the states and I went into Nordstrom to grab another shade for I was almost done with the 2nd refill in shade Petal 21-I had dehydrated skin, so this product is perfect for me-I don't have dry patches so I don't see any issues there-I will agree, this is NOT for oily skin, it does give a glow-I find this so easy to use, I use a brush and tap it on the sponge within the product and tap on my face and I'm done-I just love how the 2 shades (21 and 23) match my skin so well and how I never have dry skin with this and the glow it gives-
You have beautiful skin! Thanks for the advice!
Thank you for sharing this detail review video, we need more Asian beauty bloggers!!! However I wish you could have at least test the Cushion foundation with the cushion sponge -> that’s why they are call cushion foundation. I see this product as a whole when used in conjunction with the cushion sponge that came with the product (even once).
As always wonderful review.... you look gorgeous. But could I please give a suggestion I would greatly appreciate it if foundation/concealer reviews were without powder I DON'T own any so I want to know how the foundation performs without it. Thank you so much for your consideration ! 😉💖
It’s looking good for me. Maybe next month!!!!
I love LeMer I use Amber it last all day so haven't had the need to try the cushion makeup.
Naomi T Drake what primer do you use? And do you set it?
wow! It looked so full coverage! So I saw another blogger actually purchased both cushion from la mer and la prairie and she loves the la prairie one more, though she did not elaborate on why. Please do a comparison!
My guess is she has less dry skin than I do. The La Prairie is less glowy and has longer staying power through the oils.
Michele Wang Thanks a lot for response! I am actually a oily skin person so I would definitely go for the la prairie now!
It looks beautiful babe! I’ll wait till you can give an update on how long this foundation lasts for you the cushion foundation doesn’t last me but a few weeks I’d hate to buy this foundation and only get a month worth. And buy the way I love the lumberjack look Hahahaha 😍😍😍💕
Ha thanks!! xoxo
Hi Michelle! Thank you for an informative review :) could you please turn down the lighting 1 notch? It’s juuuust slightly blown out to where its hard to see the product even when zoomed in. Thank you!
Will you review Tom Ford traceless CUSHION foundation?
Wow your skin ”alltså”. Looking this good without any concealer or corrector, I just can’t belive that you are over 40. 😍
Thanks for your video! Took a while to get, lightest shade always sold out. It worked horribly for me. Sunk in to all my fine lines, felt heavy and no matter how I applied or what I put it over, was not good for me. What an expensive loss. I have the lightest shade if anyone wants to buy from me. Has an extra new cushion.
Do you think the illuminating cream is worth to buy? I can’t find much review n the internet, can you tell more ?
We are twins today 😆 lookin good!
😘😘
love you both! Michele you would look so cute in that shirt with a ponytail and some thin big hoop earrings....xo Marla
sorry to be so off topic but does anybody know of a tool to get back into an Instagram account..?
I was dumb forgot the login password. I would love any help you can give me
@River Reece instablaster ;)
@Luka Arian thanks for your reply. I got to the site on google and im trying it out atm.
Takes a while so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Thanks for the great review. Would you recommend la mer soft fluid or the la prairie foundation for mature oily skin?
Hard for me to say since i have such dry skin. But I've heard both work well for all skin types. And I haven't tried the La Prairie - I hear that has fuller coverage than La Mer.
Michele Wang - Thanks for the feedback! Happy Thursday.
Very thorough review ❤️
I’ll stick with the soft fluid!
Thank you for your review. In all honesty I did not see much of a difference on the illuminate cream side. Maybe is just me but I think you don't need it.
Have ever reviewed Dolce Gabbana cosmetics? I can't seem to find any good reviews on this line since Pat McGrath is the makeup director of their fashion shows. She creats interesting looks with their products. Many of their products are different than those seen in other lines, such as colored mascara, dark blue which is my favorite.
Btw, I noticed with Pat McGrath looks she rarely uses contour and uses blush somethings as a contour or to give the face focus and dimension. Her looks are extremely soft and skin focus with the eyes having a innocent look. I just feel girly looking at her styles.
You seem like the best girlfriend!
Question
Do you have any idea how long one compact should last?
My local Sephora(Fashion Valley-San Diego) used to carry Dolce and Gabbana but they no longer carry the brand. The Nordstrom at Fashion Valley also used to carry the Full Line of D&G cosmetics but about six months ago it was replaced with Clea de Peau.
@@patr70
It looks nice.
I don't know how long it should last. A previous comment mentioned wearing it almost every day and having bought it back in June and that she's almost done (with both cushions) and had to repurchase.
I usually look up her video before buying any beauty products.
Maybe the foundation is very moisturizing
💕💕💕💕
When I catch up on my bills I’m going to try some LaMer products but probably not this one
If you're going to try anything La Mer, go with the Crem De La Mer for sure! It's pricy, but worth it. If you buy from them directly, you get great samples.
I was just going to mention that Mel and you had the same shirt on and I saw her comment before I got a chance to lol #twins #mytwofavoritegirls #virgospickupondetails 😉👯♀️
Ha!! 😘
I generally dislike cushion foundations because you get so much less product for your money.
Nice foundation , but it's wayyyyyyyy to expensive for how it looks , basic .
Yes, if you want a very pricey water, buy the La Mer Cream. Seriously; water as first ingredient? I'm so disappointed about La Mer! So much money for nothing! But your review was - as always - on point!
gelateria2004 I like Sisley new face cream it is awesome and so moisturizing
1 You will have a hard time finding any expansive skincare whose first ingredient is not water. That’s just how you make things. 2 No. The first ingredient of “the moisturizing cream” from lamer is algae extract.
@@terrance7220 1) I didn't mention the regular La Mer cream, but the product in this video. And no, that's not how things work: many expensive creams don't have water as first ingredient. Even drugstore ones don't (which doesn't mean that the ingredients are higher quality. But at least the price corresponds to the quality).
2) Michelle told in her video that water was the first ingredient. I didn't double check.
Nontheless I think that La Mer is way overpriced for what it delivers. If you check the ingredient list of their popular face cream, you'll notice that it's very similar with the Nivea Cream. But for a much higher price. I have the La Mer foundation, and I like it. But knowing the things I know now, I won't purchase it again. But you do you. At the end it's only make up/skincare. Nothing serious to debate about.
@@michellejarosh488 thank you! I'll check. I use the CT magic cream and I really like it. It's very contraversary, but for me it works.
@@terrance7220 agree! La Mer has amazing products and my skin feels so good when I use them.
