It’s great that La Mer only changed the packaging (although I find the new packaging cheap looking 😂) unlike Chanel they always discontinue popular items and re-formulate which is so frustrating to me🤦🏻♂️🤷🏻♀️
Yes! For me though, I hate it that Chanel reformulated their bronzer base and included it as part of the Les Beiges. A lot, and I mean a lot, were not happy about it, bc they added coconut oil which can cause breakouts. I heard they also reformulated the CC cream as well. Can't say for certain as I have not seen the formulation of the new one myself. Have you heard if they reformulated the universal loose powder? Thanks!
I have oily skin and tried the repairative skin tint. I just used a loose powder to matte it down a bit. At the end of the day, my skin is like dewy and moisturized. Not oily. I sometimes mix it with my matte foundation when I want a more natural look.
What an expensive test for us...thank you so much for the comparison. I love and have a backup of the OG so I’ll be able to stick with that. Stay cool in the heat.

hi miche, how would you compare La Mer tint with Chantacaille tinted moisturizer, am curious to know.I have dry skin bt wanted to make a sensiblr choice.
I’ve been waiting for you to review this! Just figured you would since I know you loved it and I still have my old one also. So happy that they’ve continued to keep this and thank you for reviewing it! I think it does oxidize slightly on me, but it’s barely noticeable.

Genuinely one of my most favourite face products. I *adore* the finish and wear of it, and think it's one of the most perfect items of complexion makeup, possibly ever. You look gorgeous (as per!) and yup, excellent wear and finish. I seem to remember mine (from a few years ago now) had a pump, but maybe it's false memory syndrome 😆

These are not the same on me. The radiant one is lighter in shade and I feel the coverage is more sheer, too.

I love the original it’s amazing on my oily skin. Leaves me moisturized but not oily.
Do you use a moisturizer underneath ? And do you use a powder to set it ?

Hi Michele, thanks for this! So they have it in the la mer UK site. They have morr shades there all the way to deep 7 shades in total. What I did notice is that the new one looked more shear when I tested on my hand. Thinner in a way... I love them too and thanks for the video!!
Same with me... the new one is more sheer, covers reds and imperfections not as good as old one, and reparative looks more radiant on my skin.
I really wanna see ur review on the Natasha Denona bronze cheek quad bc I think u know how to use them better than anyone I've seen! I like it actually but in the YT arena ppl r all over the place about both new palettes!!!

I did buy the old Reparative based on your recommendation. There were only 4 shades. I believe they were 1, 2, 3 and 4.
Thanks for all of the helpful tips you share. I was given the large bottle The Concentrate and not clear how to use it. After applying, are you supposed to let it dry a few minutes before applying moisturizer on top of it? Not clear on the layering method.
How does it compare to Chanticalles sunblock?

I love La mer soft cream combined with the All day all year from Sisley for daytime, and the La mer moisturising cream for night time, but financially I just can’t afford all of these products… if I can only keep one of them, in your opinion which one should I keep? I am in my late 20s. Thank you in advance!!!
I never tried the old one but love the new one but it oxidises on me. La Mer advised I try light medium but it goes a bit orange on me. I’ve ordered it in light too as thought I could mix the shades. I watched Hey it’s Jackeline Video on this and she said you’re not meant to put it around your eyes. I have been though, didn’t realise 🤣

Hey Michelle! The rumors you’ve heard about discontinuing this product were only about that they changed the packaging and added more colors to their shade range on this product. I don’t know how the situation was in the US but for example here in poland we only had two colors available before (light and medium if I’m correct) now I believe they have something around 6 colors

The Rumors were not accurate. About a year ago I think someone kept telling Michele they were discontinuing the product. At the same time I was told my numerous reputable La Mer sources that it was not being discontinued and that it was just out of stock---which turned out to be true becuase about 4-5 months ago all of the Department stores got it(the old formula) back in Stock.

So it wouldn't matter which one u buy bc they're the exact same thing then right? I've been on a hunt for beautiful weightless skin tints that help even out the skin yet so ur skin but better! This one looks so good on u I may give it a try.
I've been using this as my go to for the last 12 months or so and with my oily skin I find that a few dabs of Hourglass Mineral Veil primer beforehand, and a touch of Nikkia Joy's setting powder afterwards gives me the perfect level of shine-free coverage for a full day's wear.

I was really curious about this skin tint. But, unfortunately (but per usual) I won't be able to try it. The deepest shade doesn't really look deep. And the original did not have any deep shades.
How does this compare to the chantecaille moisture tint?

Thanks for the heads-up without the shade range so I didn't bother looking! This looked great on you. Like you, I love light coverage and radiant foundation, but I guess La Mer doesn't care to get money from darker-skinned people on this one. Great video as usual!
Thanks Monica! There are 7 shades and go to a deep shade. Not sure if it’ll work for you but it looks like the deeper shades are coming in later. The retailers I link in the description box all seem to have different inventory.

Michele , apparently I dont know what site I was on that said it had denatured alcohol but apparently it doesn't just the fatty alcohols. Sometimes sites dont clearly say it and when I saw the review from somewhere else they stated den alcohol either way thanks
Maria Rodriguez I checked the ingredients deck and that alcohol is the 77th ingredient out of a whopping 90 ingredients. So, there is barely any. However, I prefer products with a simpler formula.
Can’t believe basically the same formula? Not sure 🤔 why they did that? Will still get my new shade I think it’s medium deep instead of tan in the OG formula but will do a video to show results too to compare :)

Have you tried the MAC Lightful dual tinted/untinted serum? That has been my favorite tinted moisturizer/serum, and I’m wondering how this compares. (The product was so good I’m hoping Lauder will relaunch it- even if it’s as a pricier brand.)

What about the smell?If it smells anything like the La Mer foundation it's a big no for me.I really couldnt stand it.
The scent is not as strong and is different - it’s more fresh smelling than the fermented smell of the foundation.

I use to be intrigued by La Mer until I read the product ingredients. Petrolatum is one of the top 4 ingredients in most of their products so basically you are paying $200 for a little jar of vaseline. PASS
Hi.. i’m also allergic to petrolatum but i used La Mer Le concentrate and their Soft fluid long wear foundation (thanks to Michelle’s recommandation), both are without petrolatum. And i can wear both safely. Just for your info.
Since Estee Lauder companies are Trump supporters, it make sense that it was fake news about the discontinuation of this product 😂😂😂 sorry i had too 🤭🤷🏼😇
