Some very good designs here. I might have to use some as inspiration and build one out of steel tubing or something a little stronger and reliable. Would definitely put different gear ratio options as well.
This could be the future of short distant transportation, something to use in conjunction with a car as opposed to trying to remove the conventional car as it is. I have a four wheeled biketruck that has a steel frame but the body supporting frame is made from 3/4 PVC pipe, which will have coroplast sheet plastic screwed to it. It is running but I am still improving to it and fixing it to 100% completion.
TomCat Xsl Good luck with your project. It sounds like a great one! If you're thinking about college, be sure to check out the unique offerings at Penn College: www.pct.edu
They are cool, aren't they? Students designed each quad cycle so we don't have individual plans to share. However, the American Speedster website could be a good resource for you. Good luck!
Am building a two seat quad for my autistic son, and have a general idea for my plan. what I'm curious about, is the amount of weight they can take. The one clip showed, I believe 5-6 students on the on bike. which I'm assuming had to be in the area of 500+ lbs. if you have any data on the weight restrictions, and also vibration absorbtion of the pvc especially at the joints, I'd really appreciate any and all data
Hello....I have been interested in making one of these for a while but i am limited in funds and do not want to buy any extra parts. In conclusion do you have any plans for any of the bikes thank you
I usually wrap mine from a grain bin or plasti dip tops from totes and get on with my framed application especially the one that carries the bigger load of people.... blankets, tin cup phone the whole standard of minimalist even got a engine part from a toy steam engine to send in THANKS 6 years and counting
The soda can crusher Is the bronze age/ iron age speaking 🔊 You don't need to share them umbrellas The drone helicopter pad will work I can send you some emails with the specs?? Thanks 😊

Unfortunately, most of those students don't know the basics of chain tension and alignment.
No one is born knowing that, they got to learn it
what do u suggest?
did everyone forget to put a chain tensioner on their cycles? xD
