Hey mate, I just wanted to drop in and let you know that I somehow stumbled across this series and it's officially eaten up my weekend. I've got some wicked dental procedures going on in a couple of days and have been in a lot of pain, but having the option to sit down and listen to you narrate DIablo lore in long-form has at least given me brief respite. Bloody well done.
@C Goode Dudeeeee I feel that so hard! I had dental implants put in a few days ago and am currently going thru all his Diablo Lore videos. So much good content and the relief is real! Juat lose yourself in the world and forget bout ha pain
It’s bad that I’ve played all the games but you made me realize how much of the story I just skipped over to just kill everything in my path. Great storytelling please make more videos
The one thing that's always killed me is that they expect us to believe Tristram got absolutely destroyed at the end of d1. At the start of d2 we have to set up a portal just to get to Tristram. Then in d3, we're expected to believe people were like, "why don't we just set up town a block away from Tristram? That'd be enough space between us and the bad juju right? "
Tristram's destruction was far more believable than them building a new city next to it between D2 and D3 IMO. XD D3 is fun but some things make no sense.
It makes sense to me. Tristram was probably just a town that sprung up on a trade route. With its destruction New Tristram poped up to fill the hole left by old Tristram. It may not have been the wisest decision, but it was presumably a profitable one...
Bro people live in dangerous reckless places all the time. In real life, a big portion of humanity decided to permanently settle natural-disaster prone regions. There's also many years between Diablo games.... a new generation of traders/adventurers/rough folk looking for a quick buck wouldnt give a shit about some bad history 30+ years ago. Besides, New Tristram is specifically described as a small trading outpost/farm town. Its not like they built a Caldeum-level city in the Tristram area.
I love your content, it plays out like an audio book as I listen to it while I drive 45 mins to get to work everyday. I really enjoyed the d1 and d2 story videos and was wondering if a d3 one was in the mix and was not disappointed 😁

Great narration! I kinda get the criticism of d3 that it isn’t as grim as the previous one, but damn, Leah’s story is depressing, being betrayed by your own mother and made into a vessel of Diablo, making poor Cain’s sacrifice mean fuck all, grim enough for me XDDD
Hey Game LORE Dash, as far as watching goes, which one reaps you more UA-cam rewards: Watching all the broken up segments OR watching the 6 hour compilation? I wanna help your channel as best I can. 😊
You narrate this like a book. Excellent. I was looking and searching to see if anyone made a 'Everything Wrong with Diablo 3' video and stumbled across this.
My job as an equipment operator means I have alotta time with nothing but deafening engine and blade noise to listen to all day. It's been a great time listening to these and getting to hear the warrior and paladin side of the stories. I only ever played the necromancers.
Beautiful job mate! I've started playing this series when I was seven and it took me all but 2 days to watch your vids and get even more into the lore. Thanks for your wonderful story telling... Now I must play again! With permadeath! Yeah naa noo.. Haha.
You may not get this cause you made the video months ago. But please keep this up! I just finished diablo 2s lore and working on this one as I type. I'm a trucker and music gets tiring, so long lore videos is my jam. Keep up the solid work my dude!
Stumbled upon your channel and just finished watching Diablo 2 full story. Will watch Diablo 3 now to catch up on the game since I’ve been thinking on getting Diablo 4. Thank you for the masterful work you have done.
New subscriber here ,you sir are doing a great job ,I'M 53 years old soon to be 54 back in my day I played Diablo and DIablo 2 and I'm proud to say I beat both games , but I never played 3 but this is very interesting to watch .
When he mentions you "choose" to keep the guards yelling at you to yourself, but it's not like you can go to his boss and start a conversation with him and be like, "oh yea your lieutenant yelled at me when I helped him raise a catapult!" You don't have much free reign in the game when it comes to certain things
One thing I always wondered...Cain had a nice big house with plenty of rooms. Why was Leah shacked up at the inn while he had his own place? Just so she could try her hand at independence? One of them wanted a bit of distance from the other?
I always just chalked it up to the influence of diablo fearing Cain would find out and either somehow purge Leah or outright killing her to stop his plans but Leah's care for Cain kept her from going to far from him it's probably way off but that's the only way my mind reason's it
The atmosphere just doesn't compare to Diablo 1 & 2. Listen to the difference in emotion of Captian Rumford 17:50 and then go watch Dash's video on Diablo 1 when he speaks to Farnham about the Butcher and Lazarus. Listen to Adria's voice actor in D1 then listen to her in this game. In the first game she spoke in an unnatural way that gave her this sense of mystery. In this game she's as plain as everyone else. There's just no comparison.
I really like the plot of Lea being the vessel for diablo Remember that it actually hit me first time I played the game I really like diablo 3 Its the game that got me into this series And now im also into this lore videos Your work is awesome man Kepp it up

can you do Diablo four just like you did this one being blind and finally be able to play a Diablo game I love the way you did the story
"somebody buy this man a halberd, and his wife a sense of decency"
Earned my sub! lol, well done
Tyrael being the paragon of Wisdom is a good joke.
Favorite quote of all D3 4:02:31
"My blood Thunders within me.
This fetid air fills my ravaged lungs.
I am alive again"
And mine:
"What says the Scroll of Fate?"
"I see doom, and the destruction of the High Heavens."
"Ah. So the scroll is wrong."
Appreciate you taking the time to make this video! Great commentary (:
nest step ROS! as always thanks for your work! 😎
Hey Game LORE Dash, as far as watching goes, which one reaps you more UA-cam rewards: Watching all the broken up segments OR watching the 6 hour compilation? I wanna help your channel as best I can. 😊
Why not both? If you have the time
The irony of a crusader being named Dash
Never noticed that in the opening part where the Crusader kills the first undead, that woman had a child in her arms.
Rip deckard cain. The writing team did him dirty in this game, not the sendoff such a legendary character deserved. Anyway, great video dude.
You narrate this like a book. Excellent. I was looking and searching to see if anyone made a 'Everything Wrong with Diablo 3' video and stumbled across this.
Your narration is enough for me to finally purchase Diablo 3. So much story behind this game.
Highest praise cheers! Hope you enjoy 😄
Man this is a awesome video, I'm listening to it at work and will listen and watch this weekend as well, can't wait! Thank you!
You should seriously do audiobooks, I've watched D1-2 and hellfire so far and I'm enthralled, I don't even normally get into this kinda videos
Seriously, Tyriel becoming an human may be the greatest character development ever for him.
6:04:00 I like the idea of the character and Tyreal having a casual convo while Imperious is all: “pAaAaAiNnN~”
My job as an equipment operator means I have alotta time with nothing but deafening engine and blade noise to listen to all day. It's been a great time listening to these and getting to hear the warrior and paladin side of the stories. I only ever played the necromancers.
God tier level content! Blizzard better make a Legendary item dedicated to you in D4!
I think farnham in diablo 1 with his line about his friends being slaughtered had more feeling and depth than any line in this game.
Beautiful job mate! I've started playing this series when I was seven and it took me all but 2 days to watch your vids and get even more into the lore. Thanks for your wonderful story telling... Now I must play again! With permadeath! Yeah naa noo.. Haha.
Many thanks!
DASH! you did it again! such a S-tier story teller!
Well, I’ve found the video I’m going to binge listen to for work for a week. Gonna be fun.
World of Hellcraft. Only today's blizzard could turn this game into a cartoon.
Absolutely wonderful! Thanks so much! Well done! 👏
love that you include elites and item drops as story points lol :D
New subscriber here ,you sir are doing a great job ,I'M 53 years old soon to be 54 back in my day I played Diablo and DIablo 2 and I'm proud to say I beat both games , but I never played 3 but this is very interesting to watch .
When he mentions you "choose" to keep the guards yelling at you to yourself, but it's not like you can go to his boss and start a conversation with him and be like, "oh yea your lieutenant yelled at me when I helped him raise a catapult!" You don't have much free reign in the game when it comes to certain things
that's why he does that to make it more natural
It is just neon-colored toy crap, not Diablo.
You did well narrating. For a game i never got to play this was the next best thing.
I appreciate it. I try & think of this when I create video content
I really like the plot of Lea being the vessel for diablo
Remember that it actually hit me first time I played the game
I really like diablo 3
Its the game that got me into this series
And now im also into this lore videos
Your work is awesome man
Kepp it up
I come back to these every now and then and like to listen to them when I’m going to bed. Can’t wait for you to do Diablo 4 when it comes out.
Really love these videos dude! makes me want to play diablo all over again, such good lore and your voice are so perfectly fitting for the story telling! great work keep it up
Thank you!!
I just finished watching your diablo 1, 2 and 3 videos. Magnificent. I enjoyed thouroughly.
Damn Boi that was Hella of a story your narration is a masterpiece bro im waiting for reaper of the souls now
the only disturbing thing about this story is how incredibly bad it is...
Absolutely incredible. Thank you Dash
