He hitted the drums more in 5 minutes than most drummers during their lifetime
😂
He's probably listening to an audible book
Something exciting to keep him from falling asleep.
_You're now standing in front of an ocean. A big, beautiful turquoise ocean ... and I want you to try to imagine the sound of this ocean ... and feel your entire body becoming more and more relaxed with every wave gently washing onto the beach ... that's it ... deep breath iiiin ... aaaaand ooooouuut ..._
@@iododendron3416 LOOOL, exactly xD
This comment is funny.
@@NoctumusTV you were high
Paoli is the drummer that turned rythm BPM into MHz
deggial2005 he turned it to RPM
@@nirosinouri8508 Well he is over-revving it.
If you want to hear a real drummer that actually turned double bass (via quad pedals) into true HZ (he can play 60 notes per second on bass drums) - check out Morgan from the band Henker
theseventhammer he uses a ”quad pedal” setup, Francesco uses two single pedals.
Hold up, hold up. Paoli is fucking amazing.
BUT...
Spencer Prewett
1:59 look his snare is on fire
Lol!
you made that blast look even 10 times more badass!!!
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA you Made my day
Nah, that's satan calling. He wants his soul back.
🤣🤣🤣
This is seriously impressive for any drummer. For a man who's only been playing drums for 3 years, it's fucking godly.
When you are so fast that normal blastbeats counts as fills
raatomato666 insane drummer
vittu että sä oot muute suomalaine
Raadollinen totuus tuli ilmi🤣
raatomato666 😂😂
Lmao I had the same thought
we don't speed up our video's, it double strokes = 2 hits vs 1 like singles thus high tempos and effortless motion. Francesco learned it from John Longstreth.
sickdrummermagazine you can't even see them in the frame rate. You should do a super high frame rate recording of it.
@@BuffaloBorn78 I mean, this was 7 years ago...
John Longstreth is a true legend as well as Francesco!
@@BuffaloBorn78 60 FPS cameras weren't a thing so many years ago.
"The songs at 160 BpS"
"You mean BpM right?"
"No. BpS."
The song is at 270 bpm if anyone is wondering what the actual tempo is
@@theseventhammer crazy fast eyyy
Beats per Siemens?
theseventhammer yes Francesco himself told me that 270 is the ori speed
@@Leonelf0 crazy songs need crazy units
@BeothukRuins I think he is @ 25 and he has been playing roughly 3 years, he played guitar and sang up until then. Our understanding after talking is he couldn't find anyone to play the drum parts the way he wanted...so he did it himself.
3 years?! That is actually insane
What a badass
god damn that push-pull is flawless. i can't imagine how many hours he slaved at the practice pad that he just looks bored ripping away like this
Right? I was going to comment about the same thing. His push-pull technique is crazy good.
Oliver Park thats not push and pull, thats german if im not mistaken
Push pull in german grip. Its got other names but its all the same thing, rebound made louder with the fingers and the wrist in tandem. Its very similiar to the motion you use for double strokes.
Crazy thing is that he was literally like "I'm going to start drumming" 3 years later,he recorded this beast.
Not just that i dont think ive ever seen someone use a heel toe technique so fast
YOU HAVE WITNESSED THE FOREARMS AND CALVES OF HERCULES ON A MORTAL MAN
Kris Bluefield he us doing bounce strokes with feet=half speed
MrMejh even with heel toe double strokes its still no walk in the park
Double strokes are easier for stamina but harder for accuracy. And he is getting the timing of every single hit right.
Kris Bluefield so true. Like I said in the comments, he doesn’t even open his mouth he can keep his breathing controlled the entire song. sick drummer 💀💀
We are only assuming he's mortal
Death metal over classical music...love it!.
And those operatic vocals by the bassist are insane!
but out of tune unfortunaly. But I dig the tune btw.
Kenny V really?
GamerDares Wins you act like it's an original idea
Sloppy Wang This is the so far the version i like.
No bro, that vocals are horrible haha
STAMINA +9999
No casue he just play gay double strokes... it's basically slow 16 notes
So? That is technique
@@wesphillips8058 So he is not fast. It's cheating.
@@user-me7mm7gr1p please just upload a video of yourself playing"gay doublestrokes" at that tempo and then you can say that they're not hard to play... Yes a lot easier than single strokes on the same speed but definetly not easy at all
@@raymondbauer2152 Why when I find it gay
You must listen to this with headphones... The details in his drumming blow my mind. Apart from the fact he is going sooo fast consistently, he manages to use the cymbals and drum rolls on a way that supports the music.
Estevan Lerma he uses the cymbals to complement the melodical parts from the strings, while doing blast beats and all.. insane beast
@@skullyozeez6781 That's probably because he and Francesco Ferrini composed the songs together. Paoli was the vocalist and guitarrist of the band in Oracles, so he had a different point of view when writing drum parts. I guess that's why the drums simply follows the strings, even though it stands out for the speed.
Francesco Paoli works at more FPS than the human eye can handle.
George Kollias, undeniably one of the fastest and most precise drummers in metal has been playing for 23 years. Francesco Paoli has been playing for only a little over 4 years. Just to put that into perspective. This man will be incredible one day. He is already amazing.
francesco basically dedicated all his time into blasting and heeltoe from what i've heard, although he's very fast he goes off tempo several times and he's basically not sure what to do
seeing them live is an experience everyone should have made at least once in his life!!! they are fucking amazing.
First time I heard of these guys was at Summer Slaughter back in 2011. Only band that was asked to do an encore. I went for Dying Fetus and Black Dahlia but damn these guys ripped!
BurnThePope0514 that was my first time seeing them as well! =D
ScorpionCore Hell yeah, was a great show right? I saw them in Oregon, one of the last Summer Slaughters to come through here. Metal isn't very popular here. It's all about new-age crap and country.
I like how you can hear him shout during a fill at 1:58. He's killing it though O.o
At 4:00 that sound comes again and he does not open his mouth. I don't think it was him screaming but what could it be?
I think he simply messed up the Fill, so he screams his frustration. But to the mortal eye like mine I cannot distinguish such a mistake, but for his god eye, he probably suffers it.
Nah, that scream came from the clean vocalist Paolo Rossi. Francesco does not have a mike so the drums and guitars easily suppress his voice.
@@kerszz3547 no its definitely from him, he does slightly mess up and its very muffled suggesting that only the camera could hear it
i’m not hearing the scream or the mess up. i have headphones on too
1:59
if you listen closely , you can hear Francesco scream " aaaaahhhh!"
He is playing drums since 2009...
Insane speed, insane power and he keeps it up for those loooong periods....
I can't believe it haha, he's such a beast
I really can't get enough of this song as a whole, but the nonstop drum barrage is what has me in awe.
absolutely mind blowing.... amazing speed... and he just looks so calm like yeah no problem here I go....
By far one of the best drummers ever especially because he got this good in less than 2 years.
This song is actually only 135 BPM. But Paoli's rolls and double bass are 32nd notes in 4/4 time. Which equates to 270 BPM for your standard 4/4 16th metal drums.
cool
we found the jazz drummer
what type of overly complex math did you do to come up with that, just tap to 1/2 of the song's bpm. much easier to do 135x2 than count how many notes exist in 4/4.
without the note value, the bpm number of the "click" does not say, how fast it is, at all. I could say I play on 1600bpm, but in half notes, or I play only on 25bpm, but in 128th notes. in the end, it is the same speed. People like to set the bpm in a way, that the fastest notes are 16th notes. Thats, why most people say it's 270bpm. In the end, it is how you would transcribe it. you can't hear, if it is 135, 270 or 540 etc.
BPM is based on fastest subdivisions = 16ths. Ergo, 270.
Fransesco "The Kraken" Paoli XD
New nickname for him .
Yes!
Francesco Paoli is to drumming what Niccolò Paganini was to the violin!
I wonder if he's able to play Seven Nation Army?
jajajaJAJAJAJJAJAJAJAJAJAJJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJJAJ
FUCKIN DIED xD
wtf lol
Obv not
Woah woah let’s not get carried away he’s not the technical genius required to play such a piece
at 2:44 he realizes after checking time: "OMG, MY TRAIN IS ABOUT LEAVE SOON! MUST PLAY FASTER!!"
Hahahahaha
I was lucky enough to play alongside him for a gig, and asked him his technique, and it's indeed a double stroke. I was amazed at how cleanly he's able to play them though. Truly a humble and amazing drummer. :)
It's real awesome to come back and watch this. Great performance
this guy makes it so effortless yet plays at a ridiculous and consistent speed.. fucking surreal
One of my favorite drummers ever!!!!. Great inspiration for everyone
Even drum machines are like "God damn son..."
Double stroke master...
So the devil himself plays the drums desguised as a mere mortal?!
The best drumming I have ever seen in my life. Full stop.
That snare drum needed a cigarette after this XD
Look how much wrist he uses. That's how he keeps his endurance so high. What a champ
Love this footage of Francesco
when he is full on blasting, 16th notes with feet and hands, he is playing around about 2,160 notes per minute. and he does it for their entire live set. amazing. aliens must exist...
1:59 Just nice!
His scream🤘🏼😝
italian drummer!!grande francesco!!
Soon as i listened to the music video of this, instant new fave.
In awe of the stamina of this lad.
Absolute unit.
Still convinced they have a dude behind stage firing a German WW2 Machine gun. BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRTTTTTTTTT
"What is your playstyle?"
"If it's not moving, hit it."
playing so tight and clean at these speeds!!!! just awesome!!!!
I love their stage get up, It really adds to the depth of the music.
I think the moment has come for the web users to start elaborate facts on him like the chuck norris ones' series!
if many rock magazines gives recognition for many other great drummers(for example joey jordison ex-slipknot) and yet they dont recognised fransesco paoli here well thats truly injustice. you agree guys? or maybe they recognised him already. any info brothers/sisters???
Mario Duplantier, Vinnie Paul, and Francesco Paoli are the best drummers
Every drummers have their own style, like joey, paoli, portnoy, adler and many more, you can't compare each other
amazing. hes got such a unique style. love it.
2:27..beautiful cymbal work..then a killer blast. Thats an artist..uff
I want to see Fleshgod play through the entire Oracles album live. It'd be fucking mind-blowing.
i was gonna say the drummers arms are gonna break, but we all know the drums will
How this is possible...! very, awesome, terrific fucking amazing drummer! everrrrr!!!!
Nelson Vilaboa check out aaron kitcher too...
Excellent execution of the heel-toe technique. Very clean.
The overall performance of the whole band sounds amazing.
I just heard about these guys and I am truly impressed.
Incredibable musicianship, talent and dedication.
1:56 Oh my goodness, his snare is catching smoke.
Any normal drummer would be drenched with sweat, but Paoli looks like he's thinking "Did I feed the cat? Maybe I'll pick up some moo shu chicken on the way home".
One of my favorite drummers. I like Dan Wilding also who's playd for Aborted and is now playing for Carcass. It's insane how they can play that tight for that long (like a concert)
awsome song selection
just amazed by the fucking speed he plays
MASTER OF MASTER....AND Francesco in a interview " i am not a good drummer"... hahahahah wtf
Humility
Sei un vero mostro!!! Complimenti!!
Such a young and awesome drummer.
i really wish to talk with the people who dislike this video...and i m not a big fan of this kind of music...
i saw fleshgod in pensacola when they toured with decapitated, and some dude threw a bottle of water at him and caught him right in the face mid song, he didnt lose time or anything, it was the most brutal thing i had ever seen
Great! Great! Great.....unbelievable great! Awesome drumming 🤘
Going to see them on the 26th, it will be awesome!
Marthyn brings me here
0:55 Lyrics to song - Da da da da da da da...
I REALLY think Paoli has reached almost perfect hand tehnique in extreme metal drumming. Everything is flawless: push-pull, fingers, wrist, power, stamina, independence. Everything is top notch.
Awesome music and drummer!
I'm searching for an ASMR video, am I on the right way?
You very much are, buddy
1:58, that smoke is actually from his bass drum overheating.
OMFG that tears it! I'm moving to Italy!
So much groove for a death metal drummer with speed, power and precision. Awesome :D
2:11 Am I the only one who noticed that insane voice crack?
I wonder how many drumsticks he goes through a tour
Probably like 200,000,000,000
Over 9000
Alf A Romeo I was making a joke lol, nothing to be serious about
it cool lol no worries
AnimeFreakSasuke Regular rock drummers tend to hit harder so each strike is more abusive, but they also favour thicker sticks. Striking cymbals on the side (hats included) will hurt the sticks as will various techniques that work the edges of the stick rather than just the tip. It gets expensive. ;)
I had the honour of playing on this drumkit and it actually makes you go faster!
this is incredible...awesome drummer!!
I bet he make a woman finish in ten seconds.
EviLLivE Gaming you think you're a very funny guy, right?
***** sorry for not being an English native speaker.
***** and I bet you're starving there.
Hungary is a nice place to live, economics goes not bad
que pinche comentario tan mas homosexual viejon
watch this at 1.25 speed
you're welcome
+Rodrigo Cezar sounds like a machine haha
+Rodrigo Cezar what kind of sorcery is this
338 bpm? easy!
Amazing!
this guy is so clean live.. its unbelievable
I don't listen to much death metal, so I thought George Kollias was epic. This guy is just as epic. \m/
Crap... this is not easy. Most difficult thing is to stay on beat at 270 bpm.
Especially at that speed, and to maintain it for several minutes on end.
Slayer *135 bpm. He's paying 32nd notes
Adam the awesome person only on the bass
Also, this dude eats George Kollias for breakfast
@@slayer8273 😂
The greatest goddamn drummer to ever live. No one else is even close.
2:55 is that double bassdrum triggered?
it all is, but it's not what you think it is. you're watching his left leg, aren't you?
+Intergalactic Spacecanoe yeah, is he doing doubles with his right leg?
He is doing the Mummy Daddy Rudiment with his feet.
Hes doing heeltoe... with triggers of course.
Darfu oh okey thanks
He's pulling this off with Eliminators? Ok then.
Crazy,
Amazing
What ever you can think of
I love this guy! Saw them live at Cracow :) Poland Salut You
Faster than uzi
I will say though the dirty vocals could have more variation. Instead of just cookie monster death metal. If they could have some shrieks in there as well it would give me goosebumps. Critics know everything tho right? Lol. Either way these guys are amazing
jamdwhi Shrieks are fucking disgusting get the fuck out of here you false. If you want shitty screaming go listen to metalcore and screamo...
MrShippopi Lol. You seem like a really nice guy. Cool man. Thanks for your input. Have a nice day :)
jamdwhi listen to their song the forsaking, not just death growls and more of a scream. Brilliant song also!
It's tech death at it's best. Not black metal. No screams needed.
This gives me goosebumps
You have to see the guy live... it is mind blowing!
not quite my tempo i m kidding my fucking tempo yeaaaa \m/
Watch and learn Dave Lombardo ^^
+MrScientist90 Learn what... blast beats at 270bpm? Why does Dave need to play like this? Should everyone? You must be a youngster. They're different stylistic drummers dude and I'd bet you Francesco would list Lombardo as one of his influences. Certainly one of the most influential drummers in metal. You're an idiot.
+Vorgaloth I cannot agree more with you, u are right, but its just my personal opinion and you are rude. I am not calling you idiot and still I can be older then you are, don't judge others if u don't know them. Btw let's not argue about this, both drummers are excellent and both I lke very much. Peace brother
+MrScientist90 I found it to be an odd comment, as a drummer of 16 years. Both are at the top of their game with their differing styles. Peace.
+Vorgaloth Lombardo sucks, he should watch and quit.
Dave Lombardo is the godfather of double bass. without him this guy wouldn't be playing what he is right now. what this guy do? better yet what did he invent for music like dave lombardo and pete sandoval did?
Fantastic music!Very, very good works, boys.Awesome! Excelent! OK! Thank ,you.🇨🇿⚒️🪓
Wow, that pedal cam actually caught every fourth hit. Very impressive!
