Are you taking Ozempic (Semaglutide), Wegovy, Mounjaro, Saxenda, or another GLP-1 agonist for prediabetes or weight loss? Let me know in the comments below how things are going for you!
New sub here from Spokane Valley Wa 😊 I just did my 1st injection yesterday, praying it works for me to help reverse my stage 4 liver disease, and reverse my type 2 diabetes
Yay, welcome! I’m happy you’re here. Twaun is awesome! Good luck with your Wegovy journey and let me know if you have any questions. I’m excited to have such a supportive community here!
I just found your channel and I am so happy I did! I am 4 weeks in on my journey. I have noticed no change. Few side effects, no weight loss, blood sugar is still a hot mess. I wanted to give a suggestion of what I am eating: Gluten Free ( doctor recommended) and I have gone to a Pescatarian diet. I am hoping this will be help me, might be helpful for you to look into.
Welcome, I’m so glad you’re here! I have been tested in the past and my doctor said that I have no reason to go gluten free, but I’m happy you found something that’s working for you!
@@eatshoprunrepeat I am so glad to hear that you have spoken to your doctor and had that checked. That makes me even more excited to be part of your community! Taking care and investigating your health as a whole is so important.
Another semaglutide user here. 👋 My weapon of choice is semaglutide's less known tablet form rybelsus. It's nice to hear about your journey. Keep up good work. 😊
That’s great! I have heard of Rybelsus but haven’t seen anyone talk much about it. Glad you’ve found something to work for you! And you keep up the good work as well! ☺️
How were you able to get a Ozsempic with just having prediabetes? I couldn’t get it because I wasn’t diabetic and my BMI was only 27. I am getting semiglutide compounded.
It all depends on your insurance plan - not just what carrier you have but what coverage your employer or plan sponsor opts into. The plan I was on was extremely generous and covered Ozempic for several different diagnoses (prediabetes, insulin resistance, Hashimotos, etc.), not just T2D. My work did change our coverage at the end of the plan year which is why I switched to Wegovy.
You may have seen my videos out of order - I started with Ozempic, but because of a change to my insurance the Ozempic was no longer covered so I switched to Wegovy! I have now been on the Wegovy for a year and a half.
I have been on Ozempic for about 5 months now I have type 2 diabetes and it’s been amazing for me. I have good control of my blood sugars and also lost 25 lbs. The only side effect I have is a little nausea sometimes and I always feel full after eating 1/4 of what I was eating before. I am so happy my doctor prescribed this to me ! 🩷

Watching your video as I type. Bonus points for the alcohol wipe. 👍🏻 So many inject without this step. 🤷🏻♂️

Good luck! Keep me posted on your progress! 💕
I heard about you from Twawn. Thanks for posting. I’m on week 8 of wegovy.
