    Thanks for all your tips. I'm new to resin so I really appreciate it. I accidentally spilled resin on a table and didn't notice until it set. Is there anything that will remove it? I look forward to watching more videos.

    I wish I would've started my resin journey a little bit before the pandemic happened. Cuz its impossible for me to find the correct mask and finding 91% alchohol is nothing short of a miracle. Thanks for this video I follow ur IG and I appreciate the effort you put in to make and provide us with this video

    I use baby' whipes and parking tape to cleen everything from molds my mate to the tools. I use silicone cups you let the resin dry then crack it and tern it inside out and use parking tape and baby' wipes or clean it Right a way with baby'wipes. Also maybe get some little empty make up jars from Amazon for your bagged glitter and Mike powder being be as big of a Miss to use from the jars

    I had to find this out the hard way (a few times) but if you get resin on your skin, use alcohol or hand sanitizer. I tried soap and water, made it worse.I was using a 1:1 resin. Also I want to try a 2:1 resin BUT the last one I used had a really strong smell that didn’t fade for like a day and a half. Any suggestions for resin that’s not “fume-y”?

    • @SweetArtCrafts
      @SweetArtCrafts  3 роки тому +5

      Oh no! You should not use isopropyl alcohol or hand sanitizer to remove resin from your hands!! From my research using those makes the resin penetrate into your skin and can cause rashes and irritation. You should use a hand/body scrub to remove the resin from your hands.

    I love the army bomb mold! I would love to buy your molds, it’s just it’s expensive in my currency so that’s sad 😔. I use the 3:1 resin and it cures beautifully, just it cures fully in around 48H, so usually my glitters just sinks and if i were to let the resin cure a bit and then add the glitters, the mini bubbles is a headache 😭 i dont know how to solve this

    • @SweetArtCrafts
      @SweetArtCrafts  3 роки тому +2

      I have tried 3:1 ratio resin before and I just didn’t like it because like you said the glitters would fall to the bottom. You might have to look for another resin to use when using glitter since I have yet to find a solution where waiting for the resin to thicken up to add the glitter doesn’t cause micro bubbles.
