- Minecraft 1.20 added a lot of new plant blocks so you'll need to get bonemeal to grow them. The best way of doing this is making a skeleton spawner farm and this video explains exactly how to do so.

What is it
Will this mob spawner work with cave spiders?
No it fucking wont Ive spent the last hour trying to do it but the fucking little shits are rhe woret ever. Theres bedrock on the floor lava pools everywhere and they keep fucking biting me and gettinbfme half a heart I cant fucking dtand them

Here’s a tip!
If you place a powdered snow block on the place the skeletons get into by being pushed from the water,it will turn the skeletons into strays letting you get more loot!
Facts!
By getting more loot what do you mean ? More exp ? Special arrows ?
@@patapaton868 slowness arrows which are pretty useful. You get the same amount of loot tho
@@patapaton868If you kill the Snow Skeletons with a charged creeper you get wither skeleton heads. I am not sure if this got patched yet.

Exactly what I need, no ten minute vid, just a sub 60 second explanation.
Tip: *dig 20 blocks down so u can kill the with one hit letting u get both xp and loot with less effort*
The spawner doesn’t work then so using a bubble elevator with a drop would be better

Found an awesome seed.
Got a lake with an island.
There is a skeleton spawner in this island too!
So now I’m converting the island into a castle. It’s got the lake as a natural moat.
And now I can have my own xp farm in my base

Tip: glow squid may start spawning if Your farm if it’s below y0. Change the bottom blocks so slabs if needed

Wish i could dig 6 blocks down but this Skele spawner is at -51 near bedrock
well just make a little hole going up and connecting with the killing chamber unless its too far down

i follow this tutorial but i put a tiny pointed dripstone above the hopper, so it easy for me to kill the mobs with one hit
You only need 2 blocks above and below. Also, you should definitely make an elevator and drop to reduce the mobs to 1 hit while keeping yourself within 16 blocks of the spawner

@@sanpan-820-21, they spawn with different health now so 20 should leave them all at 1 or half a heart

Having more space below allows the mobs to fall outside of the spawner area faster. Meaning more can start trying to spawn in
I think we can make an improvement in this, so instead of digging six blocks deep , we can dig 20 blocks deep do that the skeleton or zombie will face fall damage , losing almost all of their health, and killing them becomes a lot easier, this tip is maily applicable to the starters. 😅😅😊 Thanks tho its a nice video sir.
You can also use villagers to lure the zombies to a water elevator where you then drop them from one-shot height

Instead of using your sword make an automatic trident killing machine that’s what i did i went afk and came back at lvl 30

@@bloodonmyrickss Search up automatic trident killing machine and put it where the spiders fall. It takes like 4 pistons and some redstone. Then put glass around the pistons so the spiders can’t escape
What does the slab on top of the spawner do
Prevents mobs from spawning on top of the spawner
The fall is 5 or 6 blocks high?

I have an issue the materials weren’t in the chest
I wonder why
You have to make sure to crouch and then connect the hopper to the wall where the chest is going to be and then put the chest there.
Chances are when you put the hopper down you accidentally connected it to the wrong block. I had this issue with my iron farm until I realized when I put the hopper down I used the wall right in front of me to place it against but once I replaced the hopper by clicking on the block to the right (where the chest was gonna go) it fixed my problem and the loot started to go into the chest.
But this farm is slow
I’m suffering from how slow this spawner farm is as well, is there any other spawner farms that are much faster than this?!

you need to be within 16 blocks of the spawner and it has to be light level 0

just a guess but prob to stop the skeleton from spawning on top of it
I tweaked mine a bit so it kills baby zombies on the way down and has the zombies on 1hp for when you kill them
that also works!
What u change about it?
Farm zombie Spawn = farm food
Farm skeleton Spawn = farm bonemeal

Or just put water source blocks all on one side and one on the corner opposite of where you wanna collect items.
Place water In each corner, dig straight down under spawner. Your closer to the spawner so it spawns skeletons quicker
nope that would stop the spawner from spawning
@meatdelivery4087 how do you figure? All mine are like that. They work wonderfully. So the water pushes everything to block directly under the spawner, you already have a hole going straight down only 7 or so blocks down with signs placed on two sides of the hole to stop the water. The skeleton fall through so you have a room and already made out where you can sit there and hit them safely. They start spawning from from a spawner literally as soon as they're dark. Doesn't matter if you're standing right there next to it.

Help, so I did a box like you said 9 x 9 then it looks to big and did the 4 vertical and now I'm confused by the horizontal (I did this with the zombie and forgot how I did it😅)

If your making a spider farm you should place magma blocks at the side where the spider will fall so they won't get stuck

TIP: instead of using a slab use a glass block two blocks above the spawner. This allows more mobs to spawn and increases the efficiency of your farm👍🏼

So when you dig the 6 block fall pit do you put the hopper on the 6th block place or the 7th
It doesn’t matter lol
Instead of using just a hopper you can use a soul campfire on a hopper just to get there loot but if you don't want to just get there loot and want XP go with this method
So I already have enderman farm that gets you from level 0-30 in 2 minutes but I found a Skelton spawner and man this is the best spawner farm ever thanks brosky

Everything worked for me except for the hopper. I play on Xbox one, so the Minecraft version is obviously older than on PC..
I tried googling what I'm doing wrong but can't figure out why the hopper won't put the stuff in the chest underneath. I've also tried placing the chest next to the hopper. Still refuses to drop stuff. What should I do?

You should crouch and place the hopper while your crosshair is on the chest

I tested this in a random seed and it tho works but even in creative removing all the blocks was long but it is tho efficient

helps a lot but i'd say only make one part water, and make a large drop down area, so you can afk for 20 mins then come back to have your mending repair all your stuff instantly (making the drop 9-11 blocks works so theyre at half a heart)

One thing I hate about mob spawner farms is they are entirely luck based, like you'd have better luck just making a mob farm, you have to probably travel THOUSANDS of blocks just for a spawner

So the problem that I am having is, I'm trying to Get x p so I walk away and come back two hundreds of zombies And it takes me multiple minutes plus probably going through like ten stones sword To get them all I need a good Source of a o e damage And for some reason my crossbow will not fire fireworks properly

It’s so annoying because my spawned is pretty close to bedrock after the 9 down. I can still get it to work and looks the same only there’s literally no drop and I have to do all the damage myself
You can also throw a trident with mending and unbreaking and place and a piston and redstkne system and 4x4 water hole and make the trident mlve back and forth
If you want a demonstration js ask I'll go more into detail you don't have to waste durability so you can basically go afk
