The ground this guy stands on must be pretty shaky if he’s deleting two thirds of the comments that disagree with him and explain why he’s wrong. If he spent even half the time he spends on starting drama on actually improving his content, he might actually have a decent channel.
I have literally never deleted a comment that explains why I'm wrong. I have also never started drama since I only state facts. The fact is Wolfe cheated and lied about it. There is no difference of opinion when that is the fact of what happened. Its guaranteed you will be completely unable to explain how I got a single thing wrong.
Wolfe must have some different pheromones or something. When the competitive pokemon issue finally gets picked up by a commentary slop channel (I don't know why anyone would, competitive pokemon is the most miserable thing to talk about other than smogon/vgc content farms for people who already like it), it's just a pure slop video with such "great research" that doesn't mention kurt's posts once. I swear video essays nowadays do less research than me in high school writing history papers.
I knew where this was headed the second I clicked onto the video, and paused to read Wolfey’s tweet. If it was unbeknownst to him, why would he have even claimed legitimacy through breeding hacked Pokémon back in 2016? And this has been “How to contradict yourself in 20 seconds or less.” ladies and gentlemen.
Honestly I'm not a competitive pokemon fan, and I dont know all the backstory to this. But i am of the mindset that cheating/hacking if only for your own interest or entertainment is honestly fine, i did it a lot for borderlands, creating impossible weapons. but the moment it's involved in a competitive scene, i dont respect that, because it goes against the spirit of the competition.
I'll admit that I'm a tourist and know barely anything about both individuals involved in this. And I think some nuance should be added that a person who was unknowingly given a hacked pokemon shouldn't be punished for it, because how many people wouldn't know how to tell in the first place. Similar issue was in Borderlands, if you played multiplayer, someone might give you a hacked weapon that has impossible parts, and they might use it in duels, so it's not a universal absolute black and white.
@@mikearonYT yeah that's super suspicious, I only added the second part because it sorta relates to my own personal experience with borderlands and hacked items
The rules say it doesn't matter if it was traded hacked Pokemon are against the rules. All cheating must be punished or people like Wolfe will knowingly cheat their whole life and play dumb when caught
@@Verlisify oh I agree, I'm stating that outside of competition I don't care, like if they're just playing the main game with cheated pokemon. And I think with newer less knowledge VGC contestants, there should be a level of understanding and not immediate punishment, if they accidentally got a cheated pokemon from someone else. There are a lot of young, gullible, etc players in all forms of competition, and they should be given the benefit of the doubt. Would the odds be different since the Raichu he offered was Italian? Because that meant he would've had to either had an Italian friend do the breeding for him or he had to have an Italian copy of the game, do the breeding there, then trade it to an English copy.
I like the math shown to show how ridiculously unlikely the odds are for Wolfey to get those cheated mons. Also you make a really good point against the people who say "oh, it's not Wolfey's fault he has hacked Pokemon... he traded for them!" because you point out that Wolfey keeps having cheated mons again and again and again. At some point these Wolfey defenders need to stop lying to themself about Wolfey (cuz it's getting ridiculous now) and realize that he's been intentionally cheating multiple times. This was a really good video altogether, thank you Verlisify!

Also since you are much more knowledgeable on competitive Pokémon then me I just wanted to ask who you think is the best player skillwise all time since wolfey parades that he’s the greatest Pokémon player all time😂😂hilarious btw. The problem is VGC isn't profitable and Wolfey doesn't do anything to make it larger. Just look at the events. If Wolfe isn't on stream the videos get no views.
