Jagadguru Shri Chandrasekharendra Saraswati Mahaswamigal (20 May 1894 - 8 January 1994) also known as the Sage of Kanchi or Mahaperiyava (meaning, "The great elder") was the 68th Jagadguru Shankaracharya of the Kanchi Kamakoti Peetham. Mahaperiyava's discourses have been recorded in a Tamil book titled "Deivathin Kural" (Voice of God).
Kumaraswami Kamaraj (15 July 1903 - 2 October 1975), popularly known as Kamarajar was an Indian independence activist and politician who served as the Chief Minister of Madras State (Tamil Nadu) from 13 April 1954 to 2 October 1963. He was the founder and the president of the Indian National Congress (Organisation), widely acknowledged as the "Kingmaker" in Indian politics during the 1960s. He also served as the president of the Indian National Congress for two terms i.e. four years between 1964-1967 and was responsible for the elevation of Lal Bahadur Shastri to the position of Prime Minister of India after Nehru's death and Indira Gandhi after Shastri's death. He was the Member of Parliament, Lok Sabha during 1952-1954 and 1969-1975. He was known for his simplicity and integrity. He played a major role in developing the infrastructure of the Madras state and worked to improve the quality of life of the needy and the disadvantaged.
Thirumuruga Kirupanandha Variyar (1906-1993) was a Shaivite spiritual teacher from India. He was a Murugan devotee who helped rebuild and complete the works on many of the temples across the state. He is known for his discourses on various Shaivite legends.
Coming into prominence at the time when the atheist movement was running hot in the state of Tamil Nadu, he helped to sustain and re-establish Hinduism and Theism in the state. He has also scripted a movie, Siva Kavi.[citation needed] He used all possible mediums to spread Hinduism not restricting himself considering one as inferior and another as superior.[citation needed] In his Detroit discourse on Muruga's kindness, he proposed that women's name should also be added as an initial to the child's name.
He always insisted on discipline being as important to devotion saying one without the other would be fruitless.He is considered to be 64th nayanmar by the people of the state
As the president of the INC, he was instrumental in steering the party after the death of Jawaharlal Nehru. As the chief minister of Madras, he was responsible for bringing free education to the disadvantaged and introduced the free Midday Meal Scheme while he himself did not complete schooling. He was awarded with India's highest civilian honour, the Bharat Ratna, posthumously in 1976.[6] US Vice-President Hubert Humphrey, called Kamaraj as "one of the greatest political leaders in all the countries of the free world" in January 1966

Ustad Zakir Hussain (born 9 March 1951) is an Indian tabla virtuoso, composer, percussionist, music producer and film actor. He is the eldest son of tabla player Ustad Allah Rakha.
He was awarded the Padma Shri in 1988, and the Padma Bhushan in 2002, by the Government of India presented by President Abdul Kalam. He was also awarded the Sangeet Natak Akademi Award in 1990, given by the Sangeet Natak Academy, India's National Academy of Music, Dance and Drama. In 1999, he was awarded the United States National Endowment for the Arts' National Heritage Fellowship, the highest award given to traditional artists and musicians.
Thetakudi Harihara Vinayakram (born 11 August 1942), also known as Vikku Vinayakram, is an Indian percussionist.He plays Carnatic music with the ghatam, an earthen pot, and is credited with popularising the ghatam.
He was awarded the Padma Shri, given by Government of India in 2002,[1] and later the 2012 Sangeet Natak Akademi Fellowship, the highest honour in the performing arts conferred by the Sangeet Natak Akademi, India's National Academy for Music, Dance and Drama. In 2014 he was awarded the Padma Bhushan.
Madurai Shanmukhavadivu Subbulakshmi (16 September 1916 - 11 December 2004) was an Indian Carnatic singer from Madurai, Tamil Nadu. She was the first musician ever to be awarded the Bharat Ratna, India's highest civilian honour.[1] She is the first Indian musician to receive the Ramon Magsaysay award, often considered Asia's Nobel Prize, in 1974 with the citation reading "Exacting purists acknowledge Srimati M. S. Subbulakshmi as the leading exponent of classical and semi-classical songs in the carnatic tradition of South India. She was the First Indian who performed in United Nations General Assembly in 1966.

போன வருடம் பெரியவா முதன் முதலில் என் கனவில் வந்தார் . கனவில் ஏதோ சொல்கிறார் எனக்கு புரியவில்லை ஆனால் எல்லாவற்றிற்கும் சரி என்று அவரிடம் சொல்லிவிட்டு காலில் விழுந்து ஆசிர்வாதம் வாங்கி அவரை பக்தியோடு வணங்குகிறேன் . அத்துடன் கனவு முடிந்தது . அடுத்த நாள் காஞ்சிபுரத்தில் இருந்து family friend ஒருவர் வீட்டிக்கு வந்திருக்கிறார் கூடவே பெரியவாவின் Photo with frame ஒன்றை குடுத்துவிட்டு சென்றிருக்கிறார் . என்னால் நம்ப முடியவில்லை . நான் பெரியவாவை கும்பிட்டதில்லை , வெறும் ரமணரையும் , சேஷாத்திரி சுவாமிகளை மட்டுமே கும்பிட்டு கொண்டிருந்தேன் . அதன் பின் தான் கேள்விப்பட்டேன் ரமணர் , சேஷாத்திரி , பெரியவா மூவரும் ஒருவர் தான் என்று. பெரியவா எதற்கு என் கனவில் வந்தார் என்று புரியவில்லை . பெரியவா சரணம் 🙏🙏🙏
