Even within the Halo canon the Master Chief was a pretty average Spartan II in terms of strength, size, speed and intelligence. So every single one of them is an absolute beast.
Even though it’s met to be intentionally goofy, Marty O’Donnell’s score, the way “Chief” slings his assault rife and fires, the muzzle flashes, the bubble shield. This FEELS more like Halo than the Halo series does.
But the Spartan 4s were only the equals of the 2s when they wore Mjolnir Mk. 2 as opposed to the 2's first gen Mjolnir. By all accounts the Spartan 2 are superior because they have more genetic tampering and started out young as opposed to the upgraded platform of the Spartan 4 which was just a readapted Spartan 1 Program but more successful.

The Spartan 1337 story was my favorite one on Halo: Legends. Mainly because of how hilarious it was. I do find it a tad ridiculous that a couple of teens could kick the ass of a super-brute(?) while a Spartan wasn't able to. However, that's the only con I found with this. I'm also not surprised as the people who made dbz worked on this. I mean, the made kids to be far stronger than adults in that.

My theory is that Mama used matter and general tissue from dead Spartans or barely alive ones and built children out of them. In-lore, Spartans out of armor are very, VERY fast, almost like a DBZ character.
Since this isn't canon, there is no official lore (as far as I know). So here's what i like to think! There where 2 different conflicts with the covenant with this ship specificity. The first was the space battle the grounded the ship, the 2nd was probably a smaller ground assault that the 2 kids mentioned "the bird headed pirates". The ship was downed in a relativity recent battle (within the last 2 years at MOST (which is why John and Cortana where on the planet to begin with, the peace treaty hasn't happened yet)) The "antique" A.I. would have to be about the 2nd or 3rd generation after Serina and 1-2 generations before Cortana. The 2 older siblings where prototype S3s who where kept in cryo due to a negative reaction to the augments until 'momma' was able to stabilize them. The 3 kids are just 2 normal babies and a toddler, then the ship got attacked by 'bird headed pirates' (the covenant's ground assault) shortly after momma saved/fixed the 2 kids, leaving these 5 as the only survivors. The 2 older kids would be about the age the toddler is now (maybe a little older) having JUST gone through the augmentations and almost Immediately being put into cryo, then being pulled out to be fixed right before the ground assault. Then fast forward roughly 4 years and they meet Spartan 1337.

One thing I noticed about the animation that’s kind of neat is how 1337’s emotions are expressed through his movement and camera angles cause his face isn’t emotive like Deadpool’s or Spider-Man where the mask molds but instead simply just those two things were enough to give him a lot of personality.
