Just got one. Fantastic knife. Put forced patina on straight away then stroped it. Freaky sharp. Plan to use every where for everything.

No matter what you do, you will never get better at carving than this knife is. Spend what you like, and please do, I love selling people knives, but Mora knives cannot be surpassed, they are genuinely perfect, and in the UK, about £ 20.00. Twenty quid and you'll never get better.

Nice review! I am knew in wood carving and I would like to ask if I could skip 106, and use Mora Conpanion for higher cuts, which I own already. Does Companion do the same work with 106? And I am considering to buy 120 just for the detailed work….

You certainly can get by with a companion. A longer blade than you need really gets in the way. I also prefer the classic wood grip. You'll end up with both knives eventually.
