I think I said it on the other video, the massive scuppers with a metal grid covering them make this a solid option for someone who might want to go yachting with pets. I have worked on everything from a 8' rubber dinghy to a US Navy Aircraft Carrier, looking at this boat it looks incredibly well built, she would be incredible for cruising BC and Alaska.

The whole boat seems like kind of a joke to me for the price. You could do much better from what I've seen. This boat is awfully finished inside. It looks so incredibly cheap I can't justify the price in any way. It looks like a nasty Canadian house-basement rec room from the 80's. All that's missing is the tobacco stains on the walls.
A 4 burner hob & a microwave?!? A dormitory size mini-fridge & no freezer?!? Not impressed at all with the galley abilities or the U-shaped dining area. If I had to choose between the 2, I’d absolutely go with a Dutch Barge. This boat is not for me.
John, I was going to mention if somebody else did as well, the lack of Cold storage foreign explorer yacht. It seems to me they would have made sure that there were a couple freezers and at least a full size fridge.p
Beautiful boat and as usual a wonderful tour. I’m sure if one wanted to, you could add as much refrigeration as you wanted and add more fuel tankage. Thank you so much for covering boats that I actually want to see and have the most interest in. Love steel and aluminum trawler yachts! ❤️👍

That boat reminds me of the one commisioned by David Scott Cowper to take on the northwest passage, "Polarbound" still lives in the Royal Quays Marina in North Shields, Limited use for the boat as the project failed to happen. Such a strong sea boat. Another article ?
Very clean. I question the galley seating and the lack of a proper refrigerator. A decent freezer would fit on the fly bridge or maybe on the beautiful bow , but why mess that up. Engine room was well laid out.
Can anyone talk me out of my insistence on twin screws? Between increased docking ease and the obvious fail-safe of two working engines aboard, I don't see why that feature shouldn't stay at the top (above a sail mast, for instance) of the "Features" list.
Maybe I/you missed it but, for a "long-range" trawler it doesn't seem to have enough cold storage, you only showed one small fridge and no large freezer. Where would you put a 45kg halibut
This is THE boat to travel with. This boat is not a pleasure boat. It has been designed to face the sea, thinking security first and family travel. Not the kind of boat to show off in Cannes, or Monaco.
She has the ambiance of a commercial fishing boat, and is under-powered. Although she looks spectacular on the outside, she's a little less exciting under the hood - too cold and sterile, with a bit of safety overkill. I don't think she can compete with some of the more modern explorer-style yachts that cruise at 3 times the speed and have modern, comfortable interiors. If I owned this boat, the first thing I would do is rip out the two John Deere diesels and replace them with a fully electric dual drive train and 10kW of solar panels.

I had 70 dives on a similar metal boat like this. Perfect for coastal diving.

1500 mile range stated on the brokers site. That is not an explorer yacht. That is inland and coastal at best.
