Meeting The New Families In Need | House of Tiny Terrors S1 E1 | Real Families

- It’s the first week on the House of Tiny Terrors, Tanya is helping three families with their children with their bad behaviour.
Children - and parents - learning the right way to do things
The House of Tiny Terrors is a real house that doubles up as a clinic for three very different families with toddlers aged one to five years old. Each of the families is affected by a parenting problem; it could be sleeping, eating or bad behaviour. The house is rigged with cameras and over the course of the week, the families are monitored 24/7 by a presenter and child psychologist. Once problems have been witnessed, our expert gets to work - coaching the parents on how to interact with their child using ‘ear bug’ techniques and providing games, stunts and role-play exercises to help the families look at their issues in new ways. One week later we visit them back home to see if their lives have changed for the better.
Real Families brings you stories of modern day family life from around the world through the eyes of children, parents, and parenting experts.

"I don't have to come hone and say 'Jessica where is my dinner?' " hahaha I simply would have left him so a long time ago 😂
well keep on waiting, she won,t be back until the year of 2050
the investment banker father is a nightmare 'i just want my dinner to be ready' what a creep
Excuse me what mate-
Some people haven’t moved out of the 20’s when women were only in the kitchen
🤪🤪🤪
Jagger's mom is such a great mom.
I do like this format and have missed it since I last saw it a long time ago in our UK series.. It adds a different dimension with having two or more families living altogether in one house. Tanya has so much patience and it is tested to have so many children to monitor and problems to solve.
Did he just say that he doesn't "want to have to come home and have to say Jessica where's my dinner" 😳
+Jayne Eyre So you have one person who works eight hours a day five days a week out of the house and another person working 16 hours a day seven days a week? When does the person staying at home have their weekend? When does their work-day end?
Marie Lastname And that’s why it’s a huge sacrifice having children, it’s a partnership! You’ll get your free time when they turn 18 or during naps whichever.
You could really re phrase that to not sound like such an arrogant misogynist.
no one cares what you think keep your comments to yourself..
He chose to provide, she chose to be a housewife so that kinda includes making dinner
"Dinner is served, my Lord "...😂
😂😂😂😂
What a brat.
I loved the British lady who use to host the show!!
Can you please put the other episodes of Tiny Tearaway? Excited to watch the American version!
Jessica needs to leave that man and take her kids with her
You must be kidding. This guy is the best dad on earth..go check yourself..
Great to hear that they got a proper sound engineer for the American version of this😃
What do you mean?
The sound had tons of glitches on the British original version, because they didn't turn down the volume of the people in the house when the voice-over spoke. It was a mess.
Ina Bina Yeah, the British version was unwatchable. I couldn’t understand a word because the sound quality was so poor. Nonstop screaming over blaring music.
Yay, I love these
Wow, I didn't realise there's an American version of this program as well as Supernanny. Cool! :)
11:33 R.I.P. headphone users.
Yay finally!!!!
Dantes dad needs to grow a pair and let them finally drop.
What day is this Forbearer he is just terrible isn’t it?
maybe you should grow some teeth hillbilly..
I wouldn't eat either if my mom liked my spoon or wh a tender is happening there. And why are they huddled around yh we m so tightly. Makes me anxious to watch the parents with the twins.
Also at bed time why are the dads doing nothing?
I like this series
What channel did this air on in the US?
Finally, we have been waiting for a long time❗
But what episode and season is this❓
This is NOT a continue of the season that we last saw...
Very annoying
Fleur: I agree. I’m hoping this isn’t just another big tease where we are left hanging. I haven’t started vid really yet as I’m so hesitant I came to comments first! DON’T LET US DOWN AGAIN NURTURE!! Please...
Flying_Ninja637 2 I believe this is the US version, with American families. I remember seeing it on TV several years ago.
I think it’s season 2
That's what I was thinking! I was looking up different playlists, and some of them say this episode is Season 1, Episode 1. But this video right here, also says it's, Season 1, Episode 1! Lol, it's confusing me. I wish I could find a playlist that had all episodes, in order. Lol. It's also so weird that, Dr. Tanya, looks so different, but definitely in a good way; she's gorgeous. Also the host is different, and they did a lot of upgrades. Especially, in the bedrooms, and surveillance room! Time flies, it's crazy! Lol
i didnt know there was an america version of the house of tiny tearaways i guess like jo frost (supernanny) tanya moved on to do a american series too , i hope this is as good as the uk one starting to watch it now
im so glad I never had kids . I think they should all be given upside down crosses and a satanic bible and just be sent on their way.
alice-laura it’s in England. It’s exactly the same house. They must have flown these people over.
Very interesting
Where is the next part?
Anyone know where to find the end of the other season we were in the middle of..?
Helen E the nurture site has the other seasons listed or just type House of Tiny Tearaways in your search bar that’s what I did when I started watching but when I found the Nurture site they have other good shows on there
you people think you are funny, there is only one person and that is me that is funny.the rest of you are idiots.
@@dorethaparks4467 Here, here!
The lady that is sat next to Tanya , does anyone know her name?
Duff!
I can't sleep in new places so I don't blame the kids for not going to sleep
Those kids are spoilt as ever.
jagger needs a shock collar.
The lady's hair is ruining the relationship.
😆you funny.
That’s naughty
You're going to sit on the naughty step young lady! {giggling}
That's Karen duffy
Not gonna finish the other season
If he’s 2 he shouldn’t be in a crib he’s too old to still be in a crib smh 🤦🏽♀️
you got a nerve,if he wants to stay in his crib that,s his business. you,re just mad because you don,t have a crib. please stay out of other people,s business.
I think my mom might have needed this when I was little
She stopped breastfeeding when I was 3 and I couldn't sleep without her until I was like 9 or older I mean it isn't like I'm her 1st child I'm the youngest (3rd) my brother (middle child) is 12 years older than me so I guess she went soft on me
I miss Claudia...
Jagger??? Really???😳
Two of the moms look alike.
If you listen carefully you can hear my ovaries shrivelling up and dying.
who want to hear your ovaries. go listen somewhere else.
you all are always complaining
what is your complaint now? go roller skating and take your ovaries with you.
Don't use shows like this to judge what it is like to have children.
My advice to parents: Find a pediatrician that is an ex-military doctor and follow their advice.
put the speed at 0.25 its rip people with head phones
Sometimes it’s really all about how you speak to your kid. Instead of saying “THATS ENOUGH STOP OR YOULL GO ON TIME OUT” you should say “I understand that you’re upset and I will speak to you once you’ve calmed down and you’re ready to have a normal conversation with me.” And walk away. It doesn’t matter how old they are. You need to treat them like your equal, not like a bratty little kid. If they’re refusing to eat, fine. Let them know that if they don’t eat what is put onto the table, they must not be hungry at all. It’s important to instil healthy eating habits when your kids are young. That means feeding them real, whole foods not chicken nuggets and McCain superfries lol.
Oh, and if my daughter ever hits me, I will absolutely hit her back. Obviously not with force. They need to learn one way or another that physical violence is not okay.
I see what you mean, but this doesn't work on all children. My son had temper tantrums from the age of 2 till he turned 4. The ONLY thing that worked was time outs. My daughter on the other hand we could just talk to, and she would quickly calm down. You cannot use one method only, and expect it to work on all children..
@@HelenEk7 yeah I agree with you Helen, that often can be a reason why parents come to a whits end coz one child is not responding well to the type of discipline that the first born did.
"Oh, and if my daughter ever hits me, I will absolutely hit her back."
"physical violence is not okay."
Urm read that again and think about what message you're sending your daughter about physical violence.. *facepalm*
Hitting your child where I live could in fact give you a prison sentence.. (Norway)
So by hitting your kid back you’re teaching them that hitting isn’t ok?
She is gust shaving the food in there face take a bit of this try this eat this gee
here is another one sticking their nose in other peoples business.
Twins dad sucks at everything. No wonder why mom gets anxious, dad is judging her.
Cheryls hair is horrible
Notice there are always "single moms." Where are the dads?
with the single dads. they will be back in 2025. just be patient.
This is why i’m scared to have kids
It's actually pretty rare to have toddlers/children this out of control. If you establish rules, habits, and respect from the time they can follow directions you won't have problems. I have 3, and we did not use corporal punishment, but established rules/habits that we modeled for them, and reinforced and praised when they were good. We never went through terrible two's, tweens, or teens. I'm not saying that they were/are perfect, but they are all now amazing young adults who we are definitely proud of.
This is the US verson of House of Tiny Tearaways. I always thought that the kids in the UK were coddled a little more than usual based on shows I saw from UK on problematic kids.) You saw a lot of fowl language out of such small children, hitting and cursing parents out, a lot of wont eat anything but chocolate or yogurts. When the parents were told to put their foot down, Id see fathers crying about the dumbest stuff. Not to say that it never happens with parents in the US, I just never saw it as frequent. Its more of kids misbehaving with each other or wanting too much attention. I wonder how these kids will compare to the kids from the UK show and will it be pretty much the same...
A director of a day care? What on earth is that? Director sounds like they are making a movie. Is that a fancy word for manager?
I think Director is indeed another word for manager. I heard that term being used on Supernanny when the mother of a certain family was called the 'director' of a daycare she ran.
I wonder how parents these days have got worse over the years.
Letting their children have control which is wrong
Cause the minute they try to discipline their children the nosy world steps in n cries abuse!!
@@leryckalee699 okay Lerycka.
@@tinaandersen3270 yeah, what I mean though is how could parents be so weak? I'm 22 never had kids so yeah I can't appreciate why it is like, but in my mind I would never let any child of mine treat me with even one ounce of disrespect, not one. I was brought up in such a good way that even as a toddler I had full knowledge of respect and I barely ever got a smack or a timeout.
The real problem with the twins at mealtimes? Far, too, controlling, no choices, food upon food upon food upon food, every, single, micro second. Their little brains, can only, take two at a time at age two years old, so, you can offer, sandwich or pasta, tomato or soup, banana or yoghurt Etc Etc Etc, pack enough clothes for 3 weeks for both twins instead of just one week, because, all of us at some point, even myself now, age 38, have to change clothes at least once or even twice a day because we spilt food down our tops, trousers, skirts Etc. Maximum of 20 minutes at the table, no pressure, no highchairs for kids over 18 months of age. Too babyish, so they'll behave like babies for as long as they have baby props like the furniture, and accessories to help them stay babies.
why do they keep using their full names lmao
To shame them lol
To make it easier for us to Google them years later when it’s put on UA-cam so we can see how they turned out 😃
I'm guessing the American version of this show didn't last that long and wasn't that popular? I can barely find any information on it.
Show got canceled after the American season. The critics tore it to shreds
Finding fault with names and hair...REALLY? These things aren’t the problems nor are they important!! Such trivial comments....
Am never having Kids...
is that because you,re so ugly you scared the kids to death?
Really don't like the new mistress of ceremonies. Yuck. Otherwise love this series.
Copying super nanny !!!!!!
House of Tiny Tearaways/Terrors came before Supernanny.
Georgia Thornhill Not quite but they're close. Supernanny started 2004, Tiny Tearaways 2005.
I like this series
