- It’s the fourth day in the House of Tiny Terrors and for one mum it’s the first time she isn’t giving her twins their bottle in the morning. But how will they cope?
Children - and parents - learning the right way to do things.
The House of Tiny Terrors is a real house that doubles up as a clinic for three very different families with toddlers aged one to five years old. Each of the families is affected by a parenting problem; it could be sleeping, eating or bad behaviour. The house is rigged with cameras and over the course of the week, the families are monitored 24/7 by a presenter and child psychologist. Once problems have been witnessed, our expert gets to work - coaching the parents on how to interact with their child using ‘ear bug’ techniques and providing games, stunts and role-play exercises to help the families look at their issues in new ways. One week later we visit them back home to see if their lives have changed for the better.

She used to be an MTV VJ in the States from the 80's. Such a bizarre choice for a Host....

Koisneurotypical I think it’s good to see her. She has a rare form of Sarcoidosis, which involves her cranial nerves. It’s extremely painful and has loads of debilitating symptoms. She suffered partial paralysis. It was a huge hit to her career in the mid-90s, and could be deadly. She’s actually been a role model for me as I suffer from chronic pain and disability with Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis and a host of other autoimmune diseases. She has written books and advocates for chronic pain sufferers. I randomly found this show after randomly finding the British version (that’s the YT algorithm magic at work!)
