  • If you're still using iTunes to manage your music library it's time to move your music to Google Play. Google allows you to have 20,000 song in the cloud. Their uploader has a scan and match feature which will likely allow you to upload the bulk of your music very quickly. If they do match a song in your library, they will populate your Google Play account with a 320kbps music file even if your library file is at a lower bit rate. You don't need a proprietary program like iTunes to access your music. When you reload of buy a new computer, you no longer need to backup your "iTunes" directory. The last and most important feature is that you can be rid of iTunes all together and uninstall the program and all of it's little hooks such as Bonjour. Get started on moving your music to the cloud today! The program I used to scan in my music CDs is called CDex, it works well and it's free. It's time to move your iTunes Library to the cloud! How long did it take to upload/match your ~5/6000 songs and over what bandwidth? Doing the matching and upload of my 12k song library on iTunes/mac took 2 or 3 days over a 5Mb/s connection.

I have a Chrome book Acer 15 and I cannot understand if I can use a remote DVD/CD drive to download my tunes into my Google music account. It seems the Chrome book will not accept nor recognize a Disc drive plugged into its USB ports

This was not helpful whatsoever. You basically talked to whole most of the time about how you liked your music and and talked about the future and your music. And then you talked about your music and your preferences for the music. You talked a lot about music that you didn't talk a whole lot about how to download it were. Did you get the manager thing to download the music? Where did I pop-up from the Jeff? The downloaded separately? Where's the Google thing that you're talking about? Where you have to pull it up? You see what I'm saying. You just tasted really talking the whole time about music in your preferences. So this didn't absolutely aweseven my life
